Bestes und reichhaltiges Frühstück in der Umgebung! Kleine Zimmer mit hübscher Aussicht. Parkplatz ist bis 17uhr kostenpflichtig, abends kann es schwierig werden eine Lücke zu finden. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Team!

Hotelzimmer bereits ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war grandios. Lediglich der unüberdachte Aussenparkplatz für NOK 200 fanden wir völlig überteuert.

Parken (kostenpflichtig) direkt vorm Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Das Gebäude mit den Zimmer ist alt (Deckenhöhe, Flur) aber das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Lage Top. Frühstück sehr gut und sehr vielfältig. Lounge sehr modern.

Très bon accueil, parking (payant) devant l’hôtel, excellent restaurant juste à côté. Chambre propre et confortable quoiqu’il manque de place pour les bagages. Excellent buffet de petit-déjeuner, très varié et fourni. L’hôtel offre la possibilité de chambres communicantes et la nôtre donnait sur le fjord. À noter qu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Si nous n’étions restés qu’une nuit, je me serai arrêtée là. Mais… …si, le premier soir, nous avons entendu parler nos voisins de l’autre côté de la porte communicante, ce n’était rien, comparé à la deuxième nuit : les occupants ont mis la télé à un niveau qui laissait penser qu’il s’agissait de notre poste jusqu’à 23:30 puis à nouveau à partir de 6:15 jusqu’à ce qu’ils quittent leur chambre après 7:30… L’insonorisation entre des chambres pouvant communiquer est inexistante ! De plus, notre chambre étant située à pic du ponton sur le fjord, nous avons été réveillés à 2:15 par l’excitation (cris, exclamations et piaillements) d’un groupe partant en plongée (soleil de minuit…). En résumé : nous avons très peu dormi, après une journée fatigante !

Scandic group of hotels definitely has some standard to it. Dinner buffet was reasonably priced and has a good variety. However, this hotel has no free parking available for guests and one would have to pay for parking. Considering the location of it being on Lofoten where driving is almost a necessity, I find this very odd.

Hôtel bien placé près du centre et du port. Petit-déjeuner avec un très large choix. Comme souvent en Norvège, le parking hôtelier est payant … même en dehors des grandes agglomérations. Il existe devant l’hôtel un petit parking public : le règlement s’effectue sur automate ou avec l’application EasyPark.

Great staff, especially the gentleman at brekafast who was so very knowlegable of the area. The parking isn't free however, so expect to pay.

Overall, this is a nice property. We were on the second floor with a balcony, which was small, and there is not an elevator (FYI). The breakfast was okay, but there were a lot of options. We really just needed a home base and it worked well for that.

Eines der wenigen Ketten-Hotels auf den Lofoten. Die Lage ist super auf einer kleinen Insel im Hafen von Svolvær. Gute Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Tür und mit Easypark zu bezahlen (7-23 Uhr, Rest ist kostenlos). Wenn man abends gegen 19 Uhr anreist und um 9 Uhr morgens losfährt, so sind ca. 100 Kronen fällig. Es gibt weitere Parkplätze ca. 200-300 Meter entfernt (ebenfalls Easypark von 7-19 Uhr). Bei vielen Individualreisenden wird der Parkplatz schnell voll. Keine Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer. Im Bad befindet sich ein Wasserhahn mit Bewegungsmelder. Für Raststätten angemessen, aber nicht in einem Hotel, zumal die Funktion nicht zuverlässig ist und man zu viel Wasser verbraucht. Das ist insbesondere dann der Fall, wenn man das Wasser so temperiert, dass der Melder dauerhaft schaltet, bis das Wasser wieder kälter gedreht wird. Am ersten Tag wurden die Betten gemacht, aber die Handtücher nicht getauscht. Am zweiten Tag wurden die Handtücher getauscht, die Betten allerdings nicht gemacht. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, allerdings könnten die warmen Speisen auch warm gehalten werden.

Mixed feelings about this place. It definitely screams for an upgrade, everything is extremely old and the room was tiny. We got the room with "best view" as they describe it, with a balcony. That made the room great. Most other rooms overlook a parking lot. Carpet going to the room was disgusting. Dinner at the hotel was not available because it was sold out to the tour groups, which I suspect is the case every night. Breakfast was free and just amazing- breakfast of champions! With Norwegian, European and American offerings. It was huge and great. They offer tea and coffee 24hr for free.

Fint opphold på et veldig trivelig hotell. Nydelig frokost med godt utvalg. Gode senger og puter. Minus for manglende nattbord, men plassen på rommet var begrenset. Renhold veldig bra, men ikke gulvvask hver dag, noe som burde vært prioritert, siden føre ute var sølete. Veldig hyggelig personale.

This is the second time I stay at this Scandic Svolvaer. The room is clean, has view of the water. Staffs are very helpful. Located near the city center, shopping, sight-seeing tour operators and restaurants. The room price is very reasonable. Just the right price point for the location.

Die Lage des Scandic Svolvaer ist sehr gut um den kleinen Ort zu Fuß zu erkunden. Mit der Sauberkeit des Zimmers, insbesondere der Bettlaken war ich nicht zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind klein, es gibt keinen Schrank sodass man aus dem Koffer leben muss und extrem hellhörig, sodass man jede Bewegung auf dem Flur im Zimmer hört. Der Frühstücksraum war überfüllt, es gibt nur eine Kaffeemaschine, die frisch gemahlenen Kaffee zubereitet, davor bildet sich regelmäßig eine lange Schlange. Ich würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.
Die Lage des Scandic Svolvaer ist sehr gut um den kleinen Ort zu Fuß zu erkunden. Mit der Sauberkeit des Zimmers, insbesondere der Bettlaken war ich nicht zufrieden. Trange rom, men gode senger. Jeg ble oppgradert og fikk et rom med nydelig utsikt. En gjenglemt gjenstand oppå baderomsinnredningen avslørte et tykt lag med støv. Blandebatteriet i dusjen er defekt og var umulig å justere. God frokost i flotte omgivelser.

There is no air conditioning anywhere in lofoten, which is completely fine. However, at this hotel in the sunroom, which is where you have breakfast there are no windows that can be opened. As a result, you are absolutely sweating, to which point I was becoming nauseous and could not eat breakfast. They need to change the design so you can open a window to get some airflow. Furthermore, when we went down to have breakfast, there was not one table available for us to sit at. The hotel has a small little patio seating area, which is lovely; obviously with the seating area being outside, you are going to get seagull poop, however, during the entire three day duration of our stay, they had not clean one of the patio chairs with the seagull poop on it. They just pushed it off to the side. Lastly, while we did book the standard book with a sea view, I was surprised at how small this room was. There was barely any room to open a There was barely any room to open a suitcase, and if you managed to open one suitcase, there was nowhere for you to walk.

Très bon accueil, parking (payant) devant l’hôtel, excellent restaurant juste à côté. Chambre propre et confortable quoiqu’il manque de place pour les bagages. Excellent buffet de petit-déjeuner, très varié et fourni. L’hôtel offre la possibilité de chambres communicantes et la nôtre donnait sur le fjord. À noter qu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Si nous n’étions restés qu’une nuit, je me serai arrêtée là. Mais… …si, le premier soir, nous avons entendu parler nos voisins de l’autre côté de la porte communicante, ce n’était rien, comparé à la deuxième nuit : les occupants ont mis la télé à un niveau qui laissait penser qu’il s’agissait de notre poste jusqu’à 23:30 puis à nouveau à partir de 6:15 jusqu’à ce qu’ils quittent leur chambre après 7:30… L’insonorisation entre des chambres pouvant communiquer est inexistante ! Our flight was delayed so we did not check in until midnight. We were met by very courteous receptionist and our very late night check in went smoothly. The room was rather small but clean. The rooms simply are too small if you want to open two suitcases. View was nice with balcony facing over the water. Breakfast was overcrowded and lack of refilling, bakery was overbaked. But convenient fo stopover on transport to the south. Parking is available for NOK 200/day add that to room price and the total package is no longer competitive.

Et bittelite rom, med vegg til vegg-tepper, og elendig luftkvalitet - selv med kontinuerlig lufting gjennom natta. Rommet fremsto svært slitt og gammelt, og får to stjerner kun pga sjøutsikt. Rommet var rent og det var bra beliggenhet, men det var så varmt på rommet og vi fikk ikke til å sette ned varmen så vi sov veldig dårlig. Hadde fått rom som vendte ut mot en parkeringsplass, så pga støy så fikk vi ikke lufta heller

No restaurant in the hotel, but plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Grocery store / small mall also just a 10 minute walk. Located in on a small island and just 2 hours drive from Reine and Å (the last of the lofoten island) we originally came for 1 days but stayed an extra night with no problems and they gave us a laate check out at 2pm with no additional charge. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, especially “Dougie”. He was so nice to let me check in earlier than schedule. Also, I really liked the breakfast buffet. Lots of options. The Scandinavian design of the building, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and view from the balcony of my room—so delightful. I’ve been all over…and this hotel ranks way up there!!!

A great place to stay in Svolvaer. The staff were very welcoming, and after a delayed flight arriving in the evening it was great to walk in and find an evening buffet available! Breakfast also had a wide range of options and was the perfect way to start the day. The location in Svolvaer is very convenient for everything and being on its own little island is obviously pretty scenic. I'd happily stay here again.

There is no air conditioning anywhere in lofoten, which is completely fine. However, at this hotel in the sunroom, which is where you have breakfast there are no windows that can be opened. As a result, you are absolutely sweating, to which point I was becoming nauseous and could not eat breakfast. They need to change the design so you can open a window to get some airflow. Furthermore, when we went down to have breakfast, there was not one table available for us to sit at. The hotel has a small little patio seating area, which is lovely; obviously with the seating area being outside, you are going to get seagull poop, however, during the entire three day duration of our stay, they had not clean one of the patio chairs with the seagull poop on it. They just pushed it off to the side. Lastly, while we did book the standard book with a sea view, I was surprised at how small this room was. Traveled with my daughter to Svolvær. We had a balcony room which I would say is a must, far better to be able to relax above the water and watch the boats go by than to look over a parking lot. The room and en suite were both comfortable and spacious enough that the two of us did not feel cramped. I would love to know what the mattresses were made of. Throughout Norway all of them were the same three inch thick material but immensely comfortable. Seemed like a very green choice. The staff was welcoming and helpful during check in and out and any time we had a question. We ate the breakfast buffet once, it had extensive fresh and delicious choices, well worth the price. Overall A+ accomidations.
