Charming hotel right by the water, next to the town square. Plenty of shopping, eateries, a couple local tour guide company for adventures & excursions. There a sauna with sea cold plunge if you fancy. The restaurant was great, and the breakfast buffet was awesome.

Modernes Hotel , hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet was keine Wünsche offen lässt, große Zimmer und gemütliche Betten. Freundliches Personal. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Umland. Parkplätze sind nicht ausreichend vorhanden. Bei Ankunft haben wir erfahren, dass am Wochenende eine Dinnershow gibt und wir mit etwas Geräuschbelästiging rechnen müssen. Diese Information hätte uns bereits bei Buchung zur Verfügung stehen müssen, um zu entscheiden ob wir das wollen oder nicht. Sonst gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

The hotel is very good and in a great location. Clean comfortable room . The experience was dramtically affecred by a rude staff ( Mr Umbe***) at check in for my friend. I have to say the staff who cheked in was excellent. Orher negative factor was lack of enough parking space where the customer has to find own parking and pay for it. If the negatives were not counted i would rate thus as excellent place.

The hotel was directly next to the cruise ship port and easy to reach by walking 3min. Really nice Sauna outside and a big breakfast! We rented a car with rentacar-lofoten, unfortunately the hotel staff was not aware of them having a pickup spot outside the hotel. The company delivery the car to the hotel and you can just wait outside at the booked time (just for info).

Couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience in Svolvær. Beautiful lobby with free coffee. WiFi speeds were great for some remote work/downloading some offline content for later travel. Room was immaculate, and the bathroom had a rainfall shower and heated floor, which was fantastic. TV in the room was even equipped with a sound bar you could connect your phone to and play music from, or enjoy TV (your own Netflix or other casted media) without the tinny sound from the TV. Staff was super friendly, and the hotel was located smack-dab in the middle of Svolvær, making it easy to get everywhere around the city.

This hotel is very clean and modern. The staff are friendly at the desk and restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic. We had a nice room on the fifth floor with a view out to sea and the mountains and statue of the fisherman’s wife. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel is new, the rooms equipped with an air conditioner. Convenient location in the center of the city. My room was unfortunately not very clean, especially the bathroom. I had booked a superior room with a sea view - the view was really great, but there was a huge ventilation shaft under the window, which made it impossible to open the window without hearing the really loud noise of the ventilation shaft, really unfortunate, especially as the ventilation is on the side of the hotel with the sea view, very uncommon. In my opinion the venue seems to not be suitable for more than a one night stay. The breakfast was of good quality.

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the service from everyone I came into contact with was incredible. From front desk, to the dining staff, and even a housekeeper who taught me how to lock my door lol. Everyone working there was great! Second of all, it’s a beautiful hotel, and I think at least half of their rooms have sea views. I was soooo happy with my room! It was clean and very cozy. Plus, heated bathroom floors blew my mind lol. Lastly, the included breakfast was so good! They also had unlimited tea and coffee available. I am definitely a coffee drinker and I think I had at least 10+ lattes even though I just stayed just 3 days. Overall, this hotel is worth their price! I left obsessed it.

A really nice hotel with good quality rooms. Beds were very comfy, shower rooms were well spec'd. Breakfast was excellent. All easy walking distance to the centre of town. Only concern might be if you were staying in the middle of summer when there is the midnight sun, the curtains were not black out, but it was fine for our stay at the end of April.

Fantastic. Only draw back is hotels in Europe have very little to no air conditioning. As an American we strive to book hotels in Europe which offer air conditioning. The air conditioning in room barely cooled off anything. Comfortable stay, loved the breakfast buffet!

I was most pleased with how helpful and friendly the staff was. There was a last minute cancellation of one leg of my travel, and the staff was exceptionally helpful in helping me get an alternative, which would have been impossible for me as it was all in a foreign language!

From the moment I arrived, the check-in counter was unwelcoming and surprisingly arrogant/ cussard/ sarcastic . I approached politely after a long journey, only to be met with condescending remarks and a cold, dismissive attitude. the staff member seemed more interested in asserting authority than offering service. Basic hospitality—like a smile or a greeting—was completely absent and was afraid to talk to him What should have been a smooth check-in turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable ordeal. The rest of the stay was fine, but the tone was unfortunately set from the start. Unless the management addresses this glaring issue with front desk attitude, I cannot recommend staying here. There are plenty of other hotels that understand the importance of a warm welcome. I will post my comments where ever possible unless a reasonable solution given . Thank you

Hotel facile à trouver, en plein centre, proche du port, des boutiques et des restaurants. Accueil très sympathique et professionnel à la fois. La chambre (supérieure) a un bel espace et une super baie vitrée donnant sur l'entrée du port. Belle salle de bain avec une douche stimulante. Le dimanche soir, le restaurant de l'hôtel ne sert que des pizzas mais elles sont très bonnes et copieuses. Mais le plus c'est LE petit déjeuner. Une tuerie. Il y a de tout et tout très bon.

Beautiful new modern hotel literally steps from the dock and just a block from town. Lobby area is beautiful. They provide free coffee/tea in lobby. Dining room is lovely but was closed some nights which is inconvenient. Breakfast was excellent.

Das beste Frühstück seit Jahren! Unglaublich was es alles gegeben hat. Würde nur fürs Frühstück wieder kommen. Unser Zimmer war auch schön und groß. Parken (inkl. E-Auto laden) und check-in haben super funktioniert. Ohne Auto und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zum Abendessen in der "Innenstadt".
