Very nice hotel. Located in a busy part of town. I had a nine passenger van that I had to park, and they had a nice parking garage under the hotel that was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I liked the hotel very much. good friendly personal always in for a nice conversation. The food is good could be a bit more variation and more bar snacks. The rooms are a bit over dated no usb chargers not enough sockets and over dated furniture in the room. Bathroom is nice I had a shower and bath separated and was very clean. Overall good Hotel nice swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.

The hotel was in an amazing location and it had a very nice outlook, especially if you could afford the riverside. The use of the pool and gym next door was nice and we did take advantage of that. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. Something that was a little be frustrating was that their parking has a barrier that was high enough for our vehicle which led you down a ramp that had a lower barrier. Not noticing this at first we scratched our vehicle, and then had to reverse the wrong way out of the ramp. The height on the barrier signs should match. The person I spoke to wasn't overly pleasant but did offer us a different place to park. And the woman that checked us in was really pleasant. This is why this hasn't affected the review.

Friendly staff. Quick to respond. My room had dirty sheets. That was a problem. I dined at the restaurant which was quite good. I ordered a fairly high value whiskey. When it arrived, it was apparent that the pour was not the whiskey that I requested. I stayed in a “standard” room. Cost was over 400 euro per night. Beds were comfortable. There was no mini-bar or snacks. The in-room coffee was instant coffee.

The hotel had brown/yellow water coming out of the tap and showers. After wasting two hours of our time, they were not able to find a room that had clean water. We had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night. Horrible experience!

The property was in a great location. The dining and drinking options are excellent. Staff were very friendly. The only downside is that you can hear the elevators in use that make a loud banging sound - I’m assuming because they are glass and clearly not soundproofed

The hotel is great. We had a spacious room with a river view. We received a very warm welcome and the bars and restaurants are all stylish with good food and a great atmosphere. I want to give it five stars but the main reason I haven't is because we couldn't sleep because the room was so hot. We booked the hotel specifically because it had air conditioning but the air conditioning in the room did not work. It was running, but inadequate. The river sides of the hotel are glass so I felt like a green banana in a greenhouse. Two nights with no sleep is tough. Such a shame because otherwise, the hotel is fabulous.

Checkin was very good and fast. Rooms are maintained very well. Breakfast is excellent. One day they forgot to clean our room and once we called, this was done even though it was late in the evening. Iron in the room was leaking and the same issue was with the replacement which was promptly provided.

We stayed at The River Lee Hotel in County Cork this past weekend, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience easily a 5 out of 5. From the moment we arrived, everything felt smooth and well thought out. We parked in the secure underground car park and were checked in promptly. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s very central — just a short 13-minute walk to the iconic English Market and Cork City Centre, which made exploring the city really easy. Great food spots close by, e.g Proby’s Kitchen. Our room was modern, spacious, and spotless, with a lovely view overlooking the River Lee. The shower was powerful, hot, and clean, no complaints at all. We dined at the hotel restaurant, and I have to say, the food and service were exceptional. The three-course meal we had was delicious and great value for money. The waitstaff were attentive without being intrusive, and the whole dining experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. One moment that really stood out to me was the hospitality of Tim at the front desk. Early on Sunday morning, as I was watching the Formula One before any of the breakfast services were open, Tim very kindly afforded me complimentary pastries and tea. It’s small gestures like that which turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one. His warm and thoughtful service left a lasting impression, thank you Tim. I really appreciate your generosity and hospitality. It was good to get to know you.

Business trip, this would be great. Leisure, not so much. No real amenities in the hotel, in case you have a need for something you may have forgot. Staff was great and helpful but for vacation, the restaurant didn’t have a lot of variety, the reviews painted the hotel a little different with shopping on the same street. City center for shopping is 10 minutes away and too busy, so you will have to walk. We told the waiter at the restaurant about my childs allergy and they still gave her mushrooms. Nowhere to heat anything up, so if you are staying for long periods, I would have chosen differently.

We were treated like VIP's we were so tired when we arrived & were treated so nicely by Ryan. He was very kind & friendly. We have never received service such as his.!! We will definitely refer friends & family to use River Lee. Ryan also gave us a lot of info for things to do. We enjoyed our stay so much. Outside our window at night was the beautiful Red Cross made our stay. Thank You

Outstanding service made this five stars for us. We had two rooms and six people, two of which were young children, and the staff made every aspect of our stay hassle free. We ultimately loved it so much we decided to extend the stay an extra day. Once again, this was done without any hassle whatsoever. I wanted to particularly call out Ryan for his friendliness and helpfulness. Both our kids got sick on the trip and Ryan was so helpful and gracious in helping us navigate that. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely return.

Nuce clean and modern property. Probably the best one around the area. Great restaurant and nice breakfast selection. It is not in the city center but it is in between the city center and a beautiful park. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was in an amazing location and it had a very nice outlook, especially if you could afford the riverside. The use of the pool and gym next door was nice and we did take advantage of that. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. Something that was a little be frustrating was that their parking has a barrier that was high enough for our vehicle which led you down a ramp that had a lower barrier. Not noticing this at first we scratched our vehicle, and then had to reverse the wrong way out of the ramp. The height on the barrier signs should match. The person I spoke to wasn't overly pleasant but did offer us a different place to park. And the woman that checked us in was really pleasant. This is why this hasn't affected the review.

We liked the location. Quiet but close to everything. University College Cork was a few blocks away…lovely campus. Fitzgerald Park was not far…great playground, stopped to watch a Cricket match at the Cork County Cricket Club that is right next to the park. Short walk to the city centre. The hotel restaurant is great. Highly recommend.

The River Lee Hotel is a short walk to the University College Cork. Also near by, along the Lee River, is Fitzgerald Park and a pedestrian bridge you can take to get to the Cork City Gaol. In the opposite direction, it’s a short walk from the hotel to the English Market. I did not get breakfast at the hotel. There are dozens of coffee shops near the hotel where you can get pastries as well. The hotel restaurant, The Grill Room, is excellent. We had the fillet but the best part of the meal was the desserts. They out did themselves with the desserts. I had peaches and cream and my daughter had sticky toffee pudding. They were marvelous. There is a large underground parking garage that is shared with other facilities. The garage entrance was a bit tricky to find because it is not next the hotel entrance. I had to go to the hotel front desk to get directions to the garage entrance. Once in the garage, you double back until you’re parking near the hotel elevators. When I booked this hotel, I asked for a walk-in shower (aka a shower stall). I emphasized that I did not want a combination shower/tub. What I got was an accessible room, complete with a wheel-chair accessible shower. So, I cannot review what a typical room is like. I can say that our room was quiet and clean.

Good for both business and leisure travellers I'd say. Also a lovely location, a short walk from the hustle and bustle with a lovely "rus in urbe" vibes. The one snag was the breakfast which felt a little underwhelming.

Hotel is conveniently located with easy walking distance to center city and a short drive to South Ring Road. Entrance to car park was too narrow and free parking tickets didn’t always work. Food in the River Lee Club was disappointing and could be improved.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the room was comfortable and had a shower AND a tub, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel bar makes exceptional cocktails! Sitting on the patio and looking at the river with a cocktail was a perfect evening!

We loved the Riverlee Hotel in Cork! The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the city center and is in a quiet, safe location. Our room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. They also had an ice machine on our hotel room floor which is very rare to come by in Ireland! The restaurant located inside the hotel was also delicious, both breakfast and dinner. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Ireland!

All in all everything was great! Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was great, however, there was no warm water in the morning and I had to move the espresso maker to get it to work. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and pubs. The pool and work facility was superb! I would stay here again and recommend this place to everyone.

Had a great stay at the River Lee, room was huge. Great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars. Only issue was a lack of hot water on our last morning, the shower was cold at best. Staff were good though and gave us a discount for our troubles. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic but all too short business trip. Warm welcome and upgrade from Gloria to fantastic recommendations from Pavida in The Grill ( food is amazing there). Also have an amazing terrace for chilled out afternoon tea or relaxing drink with friends

A superb hotel within 10 mins walk of Cork city centre. The hotel is newly refurbished and to a very high standard. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. I'd recommend staying here 100? Easy on site parking too.
