I was impressed with cleanliness and spaciousness of our family room,we had dinner one evening and the food was excellent,v friendly staff all over.the pool is lovely with lovely seating and jacuzzi by the window with an ideal baby pool,however i did find the water temperature quite cold,however i would highly recommend to ear and stay here

The Mill park is a very nice hotel equipped with pool, steam room, and other fitness amenities that most European hotels do not have. We loved coming back here after our days touring Donegal, whether it be hiking in the cliffs, shopping downtown, or driving to remote locations. The restaurants, bars and other amenities are wonderful, and the staff very helpful and aiming to please.

The hotel was nice but we struggled to feel it was good value for the price we paid (£202pm). It was disappointing to be was woken up the first morning to a banging corridor door. We wanted to use hotel pool and asked for dressing gowns and got told these are not usually included in your room (not sure what you’d have to pay to ensure they are included). When we got to the hotel swimming pool we got charged 3 euros each for a swim hat. The pool is also very cold. Very comfortable bed, but windows only open partially and no air conditioning so it could get very stuffy on hot night. Great location to town we walked there and back each day. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was fair.

Nice spacious room but only shampoo/ tea/ cups/glasses/water for 2 people in a family room. Beautiful decor, very clean, lots of cosy sitting areas to relax. Jacuzzi broken, steam room wasnt fully working, pool was very busy in the afternoon but it was midterm and it was fine for us as we had kids with us also. Music in bar at 9.30pm Restaurant appeared busy the whole time which i take as a good sign. We ate out. Breakfast was pretty busy we asked for a high chair waited for quite a bit and had to ask again before it was brought about half way through Breakfast. Red sauce same story. Food was lovely, self service buffet, very fresh, also items cooked on request. Gluten free options. Very nice

First time staying in the Mill Park and we were very impressed. Staff were all lovely, so friendly and very accommodating with us having a (challenging) toddler. Lovely pool area and lovely big spacious bedrooms. We will definitely be back in the future!

The grounds looked like they may have been really pretty but it was raining too much for us to check them out. If you're looking to walk into downtown Donegal you might find this one to be a bit far. But the trade-off is it's quieter and probably bigger rooms and nicer amenities. It was nice to have live music on site

Lovely room if you want a king size bed you need to be on a junior suite otherwise they are all doubles or twins. Great darkening shades. Nice shower and toiletries. Pool was good (need a swimming hat they sell them for €3) and steam room plus jacuzzi when they worked. A sauna would have made this fantastic. Pretty busy at times. Breakfast a good buffet hot and cold wish there was more fruit. Overall it could have been 5* but the service let it down , rooms not serviced till 4pm and reception staff just did not care 3 days to get our safe working they just did not own anything. Just all hap hazard .

Likes: Clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable room; friendly staff; tasty meals in hotel restaurants, free parking. Dislike: sewer-like smell coming from bathroom. Housekeeper thought it came from shower drain. We kept the bathroom door shut at night so the smell wouldn’t come into our room.

No, unfortunately when we got to our room it was a tip! It hadn’t been cleaned, the bed was unmade, alcohol bottles everywhere and the bathroom was stinking! We were asked if we wanted to wait for the room to be cleaned, or get another room, we opted for a different room, which was a down grade, we were not offered any compensation, even a drink at the bar would have been nice. But it is a lovely hotel and nice breakfast.

All of the staff were amazing, super friendly. Breakfast was also wonderful, the entire hotel is very cozy. Minor issues - bathroom and floors were not as clean as they could be. Also, did not realize the entire hotel is without air conditioning (did not think to check that). Would stay again.

The Mill Park was a great spot for our one night stay. The rooms were nice. Could use a bit of an upgrade. There was no AC so on a hot, 76 degree day it got a bit stuffy in the room, but they did provide a fan which was greatly appreciated.

Stayed in room 244. No aircon which left the room uncomfortably warm. There's a fan in the room but it's not ideal. The air vent fan in the bathroom (which guests can't control) sounds like a banshee / squealing pig and goes on throughout the day and night. Didn't get any sleep between the heat and howling.

The girls at the front desk during our stay need to have some further training on how to act when speaking and dealing with guests. I asked if I could get a bottle of water or glass of water for my heavily pregnant partner, and was told to use the vending machine down the hall, (we could not locate any vending machine) our internet was also not working I called to get it fixed and was told it should be working, she then said she would ask someone - we never heard back. It was expensive stay and the hotel overall is run down and lacks what I would class a 4 star. We won’t be returning.

A really fabulous last minute night away! Reception staff were so welcoming and friendly and upgraded us to a suite which was large, modern and had excellent facilities, a real treat! Breakfast had a great choice and good quality ingredients and service and attention to detail were excellent. I would definitely stay again!

We liked the location and the area. The lounge was nice and friendly. The front desk staff were very brief and not so nice which is our only complaint. We arrived at 3 pm and then told us our room would be ready in 20 minutes. We came back at 45 minutes and they were still not ready and they were rude. We came back at 90 minutes and FINALLY the rooms were ready.

Thank you for a lovely visit. We dined twice at the restaurant! We walked into town. It took about 10mins. Just know that you need to cross a busy round about in the process. Not a good option for the elderly or people with very young children. Otherwise this is a great place to stay for everyone.

A bit away from the downtown area and hard to get to by walking given the hotel's location on the N56 and the nearby roundabout, and the hotel did not have much character. Was fine as a place to sleep but was a bit overpriced.

Parking is convenient and free on-site. Although the property is not right in central Donegal, it was a short, comfortable walk to the center. The room and bedding was comfortable and the amenities in the room were good. There were several large groups at the hotel so breakfast was a bit hectic for the staff. Fresh and modern Good sized room although hard to control room temperature Easy access through Donegal town or the ring round. Good parking. The menu in the restaurant was the weak point in the visit: use of frozen foods -given away of lack of crispiness on potato skins, water in the prawns and skin on fish. Don't be expecting 'whole' fish and the fish of the day is overpriced. Apart from 'fish and chips'....expect small fillets. Lack of cheeseboard and nibbles/snack options was a bit disappointing. The west coast of Ireland is known for it's fish - this wasn't reflected well in the menu - even with Killybegs up the road. The staff did their best.

Parking is convenient and free on-site. Although the property is not right in central Donegal, it was a short, comfortable walk to the center. The room and bedding was comfortable and the amenities in the room were good. There were several large groups at the hotel so breakfast was a bit hectic for the staff.
