Lovely, well maintained property right in center of Adare. Within walking distance to many eating and shopping places. Breakfast consisted of cereals, pastries, Irish breakfast, and kitchen can make other egg dishes upon request. Only drawback was that the 2 sinks in bathroom had separate hot and cold faucets. Shower was wonderful with good pressure.

Staying at the Dunraven is always a pleasure. The friendly welcome and service throughout the stay is something you will only find in a hotel like this. It feels more personal. The fires were lit, the lounge areas are perfect for relaxing. And the room is a standard above most others.

The hotel is situated within walking distance of Adare village. The hotel has great charm. The gardens are beautifully maintained. I was disappointed with the sandwich I ordered from the bar menu. The filling was very poor.The breakfast was nice.The bedroom was very clean with beautiful views of the garden.

Adare is GORGEOUS, and the Dunraven is fantastic! Beautiful, modern, and close to everything! Parking is super easy and the location is within walking distance to EVERYTHING! We will be back! Side note: Across the street is The Good Room cafe which has the most incredible breakfast items you will ever eat. French Toast may be the greatest thing I’ve ever eaten.

I do not usually write reviews but The Dunraven Arms was truly a great experience. The staff bends over backwards to be of help. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is cook to order. I would go back there anytime.

The staff are all so friendly & excel in their jobs. The hotel was spotless. The housekeeping staff was always cleaning one thing or another. It's just a lovely location in Adare & welcoming accommodations.

This was my 8th hotel during 2 weeks f traveling in Ireland, so my expectations had already been set high. This was our most expensive hotel and the only one that was dissapointing. On the positive side, the Dunraven bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and Adare was convenient for our departure to Shannon airport, so it served its purpose. And we appreciate the breakfast cooked to order. We found limited dining options, but the cafe across the street was great for quick takeaways and provided non dairy options. We understand that many of the hotels do not have refrigerators, but we expect a coffee pot and tea kettle so that we can ease into the morning before getting dressed and going to the dining room for breakfast. Many of our hotels had old charm but very well maintained. Although our rooms were clean, the property could use some maintenance, particularly the carpets. Adare was a cute town to pass through for a quick stop, however if you’re looking to stay close to Shannon airport I’d recommend Ennis where there are more dining options, shopping and sites.

We had room 2 which is basically over the lobby so right on the road, and since there is no a/c we had a choice to either sweat all night or listen to traffic which never ended all night. When we did decide to open the window the spotlight on the hotel came right in and lite up our room like daylight, miserable night! On checkout I said I’m sure you’ve heard how bad this room is, she said “really, you should have checked the small print when you made your reservation”. Forgot to mention we had to wait until 3:30 before we could check in. If only I would have know, we would have moved on to Limerick for better accommodation.

Hotel is nice traditional but recently refurbished. Few basic things missing like coffee & tea facilities in the room and curtains or blackout blinds. They had poor quality roller blinds that let light in!

Very disappointing stay, had a room at the front of the building and unfortunately the noise from such a busy road was hard to tune out. We were on the second floor and there was a huge amount of noise from the room above, when they were walking around. The beds were comfortable however the duvets were folded up on top of the beds on arrival which was most unusual. Sadly over-priced for what we experienced.

Desværre var der meget uro og kaos ved morgenmaden begge morgener, vi boede på hotellet. Der var larm og stress og slet ikke den ro, vi huskede fra vores sidste besøg. Udtjekningen var meget stressende. Receptionisten forsøgte at betjene flere på een gang, og det var besværligt at få en specifikation på regningen. Det ødelagde desværre vores minde om et 100% fantastisk sted. Der var voldsomt mange amerikanske gæster, mange af dem endnu ikke tjekket ind, men som fik lov at flyde rundt i stuerne, og som skabte alt for meget uro. De burde først kunne tjekke ind kl. 15.30, så formiddagen skulle være rolig for os som gæster.

Beautiful clean hotel,we stayed 1 night Saturday 4th the night porter or equivalent wasn’t very friendly when we got back and when asked by the other couple with us who were also staying in the hotel but for 2 nights about a residence bar he said it’s closed very rudely and walked off, they had to call after him,if we could order to our room and over his shoulder he said no you can’t, there are nicer ways of saying it but he didn’t seem to care, but every other staff member was lovely and friendly and helpful, beautiful hotel, lovely stay

Everything about this place is outstanding. At first glance, the hotel appears a bit dated, but once you have the full experience, it becomes part of the hotel's unique charm. The rooms are tastefully updated with a rich and modern design that preserves the hotel's historic charm. The staff are beyond helpful, friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. They greet you by your first name and they know what you need without you even needing to ask. The hotel manager and owner are also present and very engaged in the guest experience. It really shows that they care about providing top quality service, and they do. The dining experience I had was also excellent. I only had the breakfast, which was self-serve buffet style, but the waiters still didn't miss a beat. I had coffee within minutes and a clear table as soon as I was done. Very good options in terms of food, too. A good mix of healthy and traditional stuff. The chia pudding and plain greek yogurt with fruit were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff went above and beyond in berthing they did. So friendly and inviting, they even set me up with a Jr suite at the last minute for one extra day! Top notch service. You do not get this kind of service in the states

Just spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Breakfasts were exceptional and we had dinner there one night as well. Staff were so pleasant and welcoming and reception helped us arrange transportation. Loved the location with shops and historic buildings just steps away.

The room was very upscale. We especially liked the shower design and double sinks. The breakfast buffet was the best on our vacation. It is located in a very walkable area near the historic church and beautiful park. The staff were all excellent and friendly.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Adare. I'll happily stay again. The room was a good size and very modern for a such an old hotel. No tea and coffee making for facilities which I thought was strange for such a nice hotel. The breakfast was good with a great selection of stuff on offer.

Historical location in quaint village of Adare. If you don’t stay at Adare Manor, then the Dunraven Arms Hotel is an excellent choice. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the food was good. The location is good to walk the length of the downtown village and walk into a pub. The punctuate music each evening.

I enjoyed the stay but some of the things weren’t what I was expecting. Breakfast was really poor. There was no bacon. The only egg option was scrambled and it wasn’t seasoned. The sausages were strange. When we checked in we were given the wrong room key. The bar closed at 10.30 one of the nights. Having said that the staff were all really friendly and welcoming, our room was clean and had everything necessary (aside from air con which I guess isn’t needed most of the time). Adare is a brilliant village and we had a wonderful time!

The Dunraven was excellent. The room, a junior suite, was spacious and lovely. Large bathroom, terrific shower. The breakfasts were incredible and the service was cheerful and helpful. Adare was a lovely village, excellent food options and decent shopping. Lots of bus options from here as well, so it makes a good home for travel opportunities.

We stayed 3 nights and had hot oil massages and the three course dinner it was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. We were spoiled! The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. We also particularly liked the bath products with natural essential oils.
