Enjoyed our 3 day stay at this business-friendly, trendy hotel that's got the requisite amenities plus a convenient walking location, to include major brand car rental pick-up just across the street. Our upgraded room was adequate for space and easily met our cleanliness standards. The staff were helpful, friendly and competent, as expected. Nothing but positives to mention overall.

The hotel is in a great location. But 1) one of the elevators was out of commission the whole four days we were there, with no evidence of any evidence to fix it; and on of the others was flakey, often not ever responding to the call button; given the size of the place having only one reliable elevator was a realproblem, you had to wait for it forever sometimes. 2) when we tried to book breakfast at the front desk it took the fellow there twenty minutes to figure out how to do it; and then when we got to the breakfast the next morning they have no record of it, even though we'd already paid for it 3) our room was never serviced; we'd go find a cleaner and ask for stuff (clean towel, more pods for the coffee maker, etc). We never got them. 4) the lights were awful, the light in bathroom would go out repeatedly while taking a shower and you'd have to get out and wave your arms to get it back on again And all this for a room we had to pay 5 times the amount we spent for a nicer room in another part of Dublin.

A clean, comfortable, friendly hotel with tons of character. I love staying at the Marlin Hotel for it's central location, but also because how comfortable the rooms are and how great the hotel's amenity and staff is. For a hotel restaurant the menu is pretty diverse and uniformly tasty, and I appreciate the Horse Cart cafe and working stations in the lobby. The photobooth is a fun touch, too!

Excellent hotel with discounted parking right opposite the entrance and well located to walk to main areas including Temple Bar. Friendly staff and very clean modern hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast including continental options. Cosy double room is compact but well thought-out with ample underbed storage. Very comfortable bed.

The hotel was nice but the fire alarm went off twice once in the night and once in the morning during our stay with no overhead message from staff indicating whether it was a drill. Both people in our group were given the wrong type of room initially on check in and for one who had paid for a larger room they did not accommodate a change for a couple days. The room advertises having chrome cast/Netflix but this did not work for either of the rooms in our group. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. Great location. Probably would not stay again as overall things could have gone better.

The facilities were really nice, and the location was good. I did however pay a bit over €200 a night which raises my expectations a bit. The room itself was very small, but the bed and so on was comfortable and there were places to store shopping bags etc. The biggest problems with the room was that the shower pressure was extremely low and that there weren't a toilet brush. The cleaning was also sub par which we were made aware of that the toilet wasn't cleaned and that our bed linens were broken upon arrival. The daily "tidy up" mostly did not leave any sign besides a made up bed. I would recommend that you go and eat breakfast somewhere else since the price of the breakfast of the hotel was quite expensive in comparison to what you get. The experience on the whole was however quite good, and I would come back but not for €200 a night, this stay felt much more like a €100 night hotel.

When we arrived to our rooms one had a dirty toilet and the other room had dirty bedding. Both issues were dealt with quickly. The room was small and the bed was under the window, so to look outside you would have to stand on the bed. The matress was hard and i did not find it comfortable. The staff were lovely and gelpful and the breakfast was the standard hot and cold buffet. The lication is very convenient to shops, sites and restaurants.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. I stayed for one night last week and, unfortunately, encountered serious cleanliness issues in my room — specifically visible mold in the bathtub and hair in the sink. As someone with a mold allergy, this made my stay extremely uncomfortable. I brought my concerns to the attention of the front desk manager, who offered me a complimentary drink at the bar. I declined, as the issue was not minor and a drink did not address the health and hygiene concern at hand. I left early the following morning because I felt uneasy remaining in the room. They turn off the heating/AC four times a day, to be “environmentally friendly”. And no matter how many times the front desk assured me they would “make a note and change it for my room” it never happened. Given the Dublin weather in September, I got a cold very quickly. This should be unacceptable, especially at this price point.

The Cozy King room is very small, like a cruise ship! The bathroom is modern and very clean, but also small. The lobby is vibrant with neon lights/unique decor, lots of seating and a coffee stand. There’s a parking garage across the street and it is a 2 minute walk to Grafton Street (restaurants, shopping, etc). Recommend the hotel but be ready for a micro space!

We had a King Suite, and I have never seen a bed that you could not walk around. You also had to lay in the bed sideways to view the television. This was very inconvenient. The room was very clean, and the hotel was very nice. Very convenient to walk to so many things in Stephen’s Green.

It's a decent hotel and it's in a great location, but the way they they structure the hotel is very unusual. I had a room that I couldn't open the window blinds the whole time because people walking down the hall from the elevator could look right into my room

The cozy double is TINY, have to slide out the bottom of bed to get out of it. Fire alarm went off at 5am, the man at check out laughed about and said someone pulled it as a joke. We were exhausted and very frustrating…, it wasn’t funny to us. the room was clean. Shower excellent.

The smallest room which fits the wall to wall bed and a floor space enough for two adults to stand against each other. There is no storage space, no space to sit and rest, no coffee machine. The bathroom was very small and it was hard not to spill water into the rest of bathroom and even the room because of the way that small shower stall was designed. The location was great but I would not book this hotel if I had known how small the rooms would be. Very much overpriced.

Everything was fine, the room was very small and did not have a lot of amenities. Did not like that the heavy glass bathroom door would not stay open. Also, the bed shoved into the corner was not easily accessible. Breakfast was very good, and well worth the extra cost.

Very clean, A/C stops sometimes but it was explained in a welcome sheet so it was all good, their soap and shampoos are all from Loccitane. All the stuff people are very nice, too. When I asked for hot water for tea, they sent someone over right away with an electric kettle and some black tea bags and sugar and all 👍 The room we stayed was pretty small for two people but the bed was very big so it was comfortable once we figured out how not to be in a way of each other. One thing it bothered us was there was no fan in the bathroom and we couldn't keep the door open either. So the steam stayed for a long time and it was uncomfortable to use after a shower. And the smoke alarm went off from the steam when I opened the door right after the shower. Oh, and I could hear EVERYTHING my husband was doing in the bathroom! This room is good for a couple in a committed relationship but not for a romantic getaway for just started dating kind of couple, just FYI ;) Anyway, we really enjoyed our stay there :)

The staff were excellent. The room was very clean. Furthermore my girlfriend lost an expensive piece of jewelry which was found by a member of the staff and was returned to her within an hour. Also the pint of Guinness was very good! And the food was delicious!

Rooms are well appointed. Housekeeping staff could use an attitude adjustment, apparently if you don’t leave the sign on your door your room doesn’t get made up, this would have been nice to know when checking in however check is is done on a computer so really takes away from the “customer service” piece. This is a very expensive hotel for what you get but the location is quite perfect if you are a tourist and wanting to explore Dublin especially Stephens Green area. Breakfast was ok but given the price you pay for a night and for the cost of the breakfast I expected much better options. Overall decent stay but likely wouldn’t stay there again when in the area.

This hotel has SO MUCH potential, but it just doesn't live up to it! The check-in is via an automated machine, not a friendly staff member. The lobby area is very fancy and smart, but smells of cigarette smoke as people are permitted to smoke just outside the front doors. We had a 'cosy King' room, and we were expecting small. We had also seen photos, and were prepared for there to be no space around the bed. However, we were not prepared for a room that has no reading lights (lighting is either ON or OFF), nor were we prepared to have get up in the middle of the night to switch the aircon back on because 'to save energy' it goes off at 11pm and 5am, leaving the room stuffy and hot. We were not expecting to have three coathangers as the only storage for clothes, nor were we expecting to be unable to shower most mornings as there was no hot water. There were no sockets by the bed (and only two in total for the whole room) so charging phones etc was tricky. Soundproofing was poor, and the automated blinds 'clicked' all night, so we were either woken by banging doors along the corridor, or by the blinds. On Saturday morning, we were woken by the maid knocking at 8am despite our 'do not disturb' sign being on. Overall, this is NOT a good hotel. It could be - and it should be - but it's not.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fabulous Stay at Marlin Hotel Stephens Green We stayed at the Marlin Hotel Stephens Green in Dublin for six days, and it was absolutely fabulous. The location couldn’t be better—everything was walkable, from shopping at Dunnes and the main shopping streets south of the Liffey to countless restaurants, pubs, and sightseeing spots. The hotel is also conveniently close to several hop-on hop-off bus stops, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The hotel itself was spotless, modern, and very quiet—perfect for relaxing after a full day out. The restaurant and bar on the main floor were excellent, and we enjoyed spending time there. From the start, the service stood out. When we checked in, we were welcomed by Wolfe, who was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for our trip. We also appreciated the hotel’s early check-in option (for a small fee), which made our arrival day so much smoother. Alternatively, they happily store your bags if you’d prefer to start exploring right away. One feature we especially liked was that the hotel has air conditioning, which many Dublin hotels do not. The only note here is that the AC is controlled through the front desk, so if you want it adjusted (especially at night), you’ll need to call down. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Between the ideal location, cleanliness, modern comfort, and wonderful staff, the Marlin Hotel Stephens Green made our Dublin trip unforgettable. Highly r

Perfect hotel. So centrally located and within minutes of walking to all attractions. We initially thought we would need to use the hop on/off buses, although the first day we were there we decided to walk around and realized that was not necessary. So glad that we saved that money.

Loved the hotel, it’s beautiful. The bar is great & the food in the restaurant was terrific. Everything is very clean. The only drawback is the noise from the surrounding bars & pubs. I knew it was going to be loud but I didn’t think it would be so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Not the fault of the hotel. Also, we booked a cosy double & it’s really cosy so I would recommend a larger room for 2 people.

A real hidden gem! Hotel is very bougie, staff were extremely pleasant and the bed was massive. The breakfast wasn’t worth the additional €16 in my opinion. It was nice but standard buffet/continental and cost could be lower. Otherwise no notes, would definitely stay again
