I had mixed feelings about the Galmont. It was in an excellent location and served its purpose but was not somewhere to seek out. The automated checkin/checkout stations did not work while we were there. One of the elevators was out of service the morning after we checked in and the remaining one could not handle the rush of people. The buffet breakfast reminded me of a mid-quality cruise line with a limited selection and was of mixed quality. For example on the two mornings the cantaloupe melon was already going bad. Although we had the water view we paid for we did not anticipate seeing a "tank farm" across the water. The room was spacious but felt barren and could have done with a nice armchair.
