The overall stay was good, the room was clean and well presented. I had my meals there and breakfast was very good, however the main menu isn’t presented well and nothing stood out. I had calamari and it was mostly batter and seemed undercooked.

This was one of those hotels which you go to, are happy enough overall, but probably wouldn’t go back to. The greeting on our arrival was rather unconventional - “Hello what are your names? Thank you. That will be €1035 please.” The cleaning staff were however pleasant and helpful The hotel itself was bright and reasonably clean. The room (upgraded) was part of a modern extension & was well fitted out, but was too small for the large bed provided. Other than the fitted furniture we only had one metal framed chair, which, when used at the dressing table, blocked access to half the room leaving one of us to scramble across the bed. The owners had clearly made efforts to provide good quality fittings and a well equipped bathroom. Unfortunately, whoever fitted the bathroom out did not bother to make sure that the taps were attached to the bath or the wash basin. The toilet roll holder & the hook on the door were similarly hanging by a thread. A great shame because it would have looked excellent if done properly. Overall the hotel was reasonably clean and tidy with one exception - the carpets. The corridor carpets were badly stained by spillages and leaks, & the carpet in the room was also badly stained. Again, a great shame in a relatively new extension. It is worth noting that the free Car Parking is on a first come first served basis. When full the only alternative is a nearby petrol station Overall, the hotel was probably reasonable value for the price paid. .

The housekeeping and reception staff were very helpful and professional. The housekeeper provided us with 2 fans to keep the room cooler at night during this summer heat. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't have air-conditioning.
