Room was very hot when we arrived, windows were wide open on a hot day. Reception provided a fan on request. Service could be a little slow at breakfast and the continental selection was very limited, if it hadn’t been included in the room rate I wouldn’t have wanted to pay for it. Staff were all very friendly. There was air conditioning in the communal seating area on the first floor but not in the rooms, so you walked through a lovely, and very under used, chilled area into a warm corridor and then into a really warm room, not the best use of resources. Why wasn’t the aircon in the bedrooms? Didn’t see a lift and the car park is a few minutes walk away, so not ideal if you have mobility issues.

A little Gem in the town and is overlooked by more popular hotels in the area. Same area as the big hotels. But with a beautiful homely charm. The staff are great. The bar/ restaurant area is buzzing on a Tuesday when I was there. I’ll definitely stay again.

The restaurant and bar staff were excellent. My room was also nice. Common areas are not clean, especially the carpet/stairs leading to the rooms. The walls are paper thin to where you can hear people urinating in the next room. After a long day got back to my room to rest only to learn there was a 3 hour zoomba class held in an adjacent event room. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Perfect location for getting around the town, and surrounding areas. Easy to get everywhere in and around town. Newly renovated rooms. The room itself had a rain shower head. I would equate it to a spa style personal bathroom. Absolutely lovely! Easy access to delicious breakfast options, as well as a pub which is also part of this Boutique Hotel with tasty lunch and dinner options. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Located in the heart of the town of Tralee.

I liked the old fashioned feel of the place but missed having lifts. My room was cosy, very clean and had a super shower. Enjoyed my stay and will return. The current work on the exterior will enhance first impressions.

The Grand is well located for business or the theater in Tralee but needs a good cleaning and updating. The carpet and the fabric covered chair in the room were both very stained. The TV got few channels and kept saying "weak signal" as the picture/sound went in and out. (Because of the weather, I spent more time in the room than usual.) The bed is too close for use of at least one charging point. (The bed was not movable.) Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice room for the price, extremely clean and big. Breakfast was included, parking is not included, it's on the street and after 8:30 a.m. You have to get down to the meter to pay otherwise you'll be ticketed. Limited parking on the street. Breakfast was excellent to include a buffet or you can order all included with the price. Only issue we had is the other occupants open and closing doors banging, and if you're on a room that has a window on the street, you could hear loud Mufflers until about 11pm. This is right in the city center so there is plenty of shopping right outside the door. Can't emphasize enough, Make sure you get parking meter covered. The staff was amazing, breakfast lady was great, front desk lady at night was great, we came in on a Sunday night. The bar is Big right off the lobby and was packed. Also offers food at a cost.

One night business stay, staff were lovely, ate in the bar and the food was really good, breakfast was also excellent. Hotel is old school , lovely open fire going as you come in the front door. Stay in hotels a lot with work and this is the type of hotel thats getting harder to find these days - keep up the good work, I'll definitely be coming back for a visit!

This property is centrally located and, therefore, makes for easy access to sights, dining and transportation hubs (bus and train). My room was very nice. The breakfasts on the dining room were substantial which meant that I did not require a lunch on those days I had breakfast. A manager who I had seen on the day I checked in, came into the breakfast room and asked me if my breakfast was good. I was impressed by this, as it is a great when to let guests know that the hotel genuinely cares about the quality of the stay for its' guests. The reception staff were efficient and professional.

The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and friendly to me and my two sisters. Special thank you to the very kind lady from Poland who looked after us every morning in the breakfast room. I am so sorry for not being able to remember your name. But please know that we all really enjoyed our little chats with you in the mornings while you kindly took our breakfast orders. Thank you to the entire team at the Grand for being such a lovely, helpful group of people.
