Séjour parfait au Manoir Saint Thomas. Hotel avec beaucoup de charme, au coeur d'une batisse historique parfaitement rénovée. Nous avions une belle chambre mansardée, avec une grande salle de bain et tout le confort nécessaire. L'hotel est idéalement situé, en plein coeur d'Amboise, à 5 mins à pied du chateau ou des bords de Loire, à 15 mins du Clos Lucé. Pas de restaurant mais le bar propose une formule restauration rapide parfaite (planches, quiches, etc.) si on n'a pas envie de ressortir. Piscine très agréable au fond du joli jardin. Enfin, le personnel est extrèmement sympathique et prévenant. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Perfect place for visitors with a car as parking is difficult in the old city. Wonderful to have bar and lovely small food dishes available all day and into evening. It was too cold to use the pool but a lovely area for hot days. Also the lift in this old building was very helpful for baggage and upper floors.

Wonderful hotel so full of character. Lovely spacious decorated rooms, very nice breakfasts. Very convenient 5 minute walk to the pedestrian area in the middle of town where there are many restaurant options. Parking on-site. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay there and would highly recommend.

Gorgeous building - so charming and beautifully decorated in period furniture. The staff is delightful. Our room was lovely: large, air-conditioned, very comfortable bed, spotless…romantically decorated in red and gold and dark wood with beautiful leaded glass windows. Elevator was helpful as we were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was wonderful and served in a pretty room; we weren’t planning on having breakfast in the hotel daily, but it was so relaxing, we just hung out there every morning. Most nights, you can order small plates of great food and wine and drinks from an upscale food truck and eat in the garden. We did this several times because of the crowds in town for Bastille Day. Walkable to many sites and restaurants. Parking on site or right next door. We were so sad to leave!

We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with kids. The bed was a bit close to the wall for us to share, so we each took a bedroom. We took breakfast several days, which was not elaborate but had the standard items (croissants , bread, cold cuts, cheese, etc) and they will cook eggs for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again if we returned to Amboise.

One night stay in Amoise was good with the stay at this hotel, although outdated Chateau from early 1900’s the hotel was very clean and had friendly staff, breakfast was good and not included in the price, although you may do better having it in the town with fresh pastries at the local cafes.

It is greatest hotel in Amboise , the room and bath room is very clean and very unique. Parking is really easy and there is a plenty of parking space in hotel and street . The staffs are very professional passionate. It is great experience for me .

The family suite at La Manoir St. Thomas was absolutely lovely and had all the amenities we needed (we were traveling with two teenagers). The room was spacious and the staff at the hotel were warm and hospitable. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do in town. The parking was easy to use and centrally located. Everything about our stay was perfect!

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was an easy walk to many restaurants, chateaus and the Sunday Market along the river. Coming back from our outings felt like coming home to our own mini chateau. The room was very large and comfortable. The toilet was a long distance from the separate sink/shower but we found this to be the case in a few of the hotels we stayed at in France outside of Paris. There was no curtain on the bathroom window which made me a little uncomfortable, but that’s just me. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only negative was that we decided to splurge and spend 40 euros to have our laundry done rather than waste a vacation day at a laundromat. They were nice enough to do it on a Sunday too! But, all of my husbands shirts and jeans came back very very wrinkled. Some were so bad, he couldn’t wear them again on the trip. That was the only disappointment. We didn’t complain, so it’s possible they would redone it for us. Overall, I recommend a stay here!

A very nice hotel in a convenient location, with free parking on the premises. We thoroughly enjoyed out two-night stay. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly the lady who worked breakfast and during the first part of the day.

The family suite at La Manoir St. Thomas was absolutely lovely and had all the amenities we needed (we were traveling with two teenagers). The room was spacious and the staff at the hotel were warm and hospitable. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do in town. The staff was absolutely fabulous. We were first greeted by Arthur who checked us in and was so helpful throughout our stay. His relief was just as friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely would stay again and would recommend to others.

Wonderful hotel so full of character. Lovely spacious decorated rooms, very nice breakfasts. Very convenient 5 minute walk to the pedestrian area in the middle of town where there are many restaurant options. Parking on-site. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay there and would highly recommend.

We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with kids. The bed was a bit close to the wall for us to share, so we each took a bedroom. We took breakfast several days, which was not elaborate but had the standard items (croissants , bread, cold cuts, cheese, etc) and they will cook eggs for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again if we returned to Amboise.

Séjour parfait au Manoir Saint Thomas. Hotel avec beaucoup de charme, au coeur d'une batisse historique parfaitement rénovée. Nous avions une belle chambre mansardée, avec une grande salle de bain et tout le confort nécessaire. L'hotel est idéalement situé, en plein coeur d'Amboise, à 5 mins à pied du chateau ou des bords de Loire, à 15 mins du Clos Lucé. Pas de restaurant mais le bar propose une formule restauration rapide parfaite (planches, quiches, etc.) si on n'a pas envie de ressortir. Piscine très agréable au fond du joli jardin. Enfin, le personnel est extrèmement sympathique et prévenant. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Great location and loved the hotel!! The space downstairs next to the bar was really cool to hang out. About 5 -10 min walk to the Amboise castle/leonardo da vinci home. I added breakfast and I was not told I could order outside the buffet which was small. I had noticed on the day we left that the lady was cooking scrambled eggs- wish I knew!

Perfect place for visitors with a car as parking is difficult in the old city. Wonderful to have bar and lovely small food dishes available all day and into evening. It was too cold to use the pool but a lovely area for hot days. Also the lift in this old building was very helpful for baggage and upper floors.

Gorgeous building - so charming and beautifully decorated in period furniture. The staff is delightful. Our room was lovely: large, air-conditioned, very comfortable bed, spotless…romantically decorated in red and gold and dark wood with beautiful leaded glass windows. Elevator was helpful as we were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was wonderful and served in a pretty room; we weren’t planning on having breakfast in the hotel daily, but it was so relaxing, we just hung out there every morning. Most nights, you can order small plates of great food and wine and drinks from an upscale food truck and eat in the garden. We did this several times because of the crowds in town for Bastille Day. Walkable to many sites and restaurants. Parking on site or right next door. We were so sad to leave!

A big recommendation for this charming and cozy hotel. The historic style is very well maintained. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor, which was perfect for two adults and one teenager. Excellent stay in Amboise. Hotel is two minutes to the city centre. Close to Restaurants and many of the City highlights. Staff is very welcoming, Room and hotel very clean. Free Parking is a bonus as city parking requires payment and hard to find. Would stay again.
