The hotel does not provide evening meals on a Friday, Sat or Sunday. You need to plan for this. The reception lady just advised us to go to a restaurant somewhere else. There is a supermarket over the road. We went and bought some food and came back to the hotel and ate it in the dining room. We were not offered a drink. A couple came in and were offered a drink. It would have been nice to be offered a drink. Our room had a broken wall light fixing, the table light was loose at the base and required the fixing tightening. We only had one one coffee cup. The toilet is tiny. Our main concern was the fire escape route. Both door on first and second floor were not locked, the fire escape route had a defective emergency light, there were boxes stored on the stairs and laundry trolleys at the bottom, very bad management. The fire escape route was very dirty and required cleaning. Very poor management of the hotel. Risk assessments are required urgently. Could be operated to a higher standard. Does not reflect well on the operator. Contravenes health and safety standards. Cedric night manager a nice man.

Hotel was in quiet location, 10 minutes way from palace of Versailles. Great little hotel. We have been checked in by lovley staff who offered to carry out suitcases as there was no lift.Room was clean and pleasant with renovated bathroom. Downsize was breakfast. On first morning had no place so had to ask staff. Tables where not ready. Not enough food for all. Although hotel is very small and not many peaple at breakfast it was always something missing and had to keep asking staff for help. Although breakfast (when we had items what belonged there) was nice and good quality. We would come back to the hotel if visiting Versailles again.
