Very convenient for Le Shuttle or ferry services as only a 10min drive away. Safe a secure gated car park with 4 EV chargers (I activated mine with my Octopus Electrouniverse Card and it worked fine). A very popular place judging by how full the car park was.

Alles eigenlijk heel goed, maar wel enkele gasten die op de gang staan te babbelen. De parking is ook helemaal niet in orde. De parkeerplaatsen zijn veel te klein, dus parkeren de mensen in twee spaties in plaats van één. Dus, met het gevold dat er niet voldoende parkeerplaatsen zijn en ruimte voor manoeuvres met de auto is zeer beperkt.

Receptionist was great, very helpful. Parking was secure. We arrived late, it was dark and unfortunately there were a number of "migrants" gathering close by. They looked ready to attempt to cross the channel. I felt quite intimidated. We left early, the accommodate was great, yet again we saw groups of migrants walking back, away from the channel. It's very sad and disturbing to see these unfortunate people. I can't stress enough how helpful, clean and secure we felt at the hotel 🏩

I accept we didn’t pay much for the room but we do expect to be able to park the car, have a bathroom that is clean, a shower that isn’t broken and a bed with more than 1 spring in it. While it was on overnight before travelling the rest of France, you are better off paying more and staying elsewhere. Also if you are disabled or have an EV car forget being able to park in the designated spaces, no chance !!

Clean, warm & dry. Perfect quick overnight stay. Darkness in the room, tea and coffee, hot shower, everything you need. Heating and cooling. Breakfast available but we didn’t have any. Le Chill in Calais for La Brunch is awesome too but only at a weekend 10-3. Parking available but can be tight if arriving late but the main road is also available with large lane to park in.

Usually use Campanile but this place needs a total refurb. Bathroom was very moldy.Extractor fan was cover was broken and was disgusting. There had obviously been a leek as all skirting boards were swollen. Alright at a real push for one night but place is falling apart.

La propreté n'est pas la priorité de cet établissement, dans la chambre il y avait des toiles d'araignées et de la poussière, concernant la tuyauterie non parlons pas. Au niveau de l'état général intérieur et extérieur une catastrophe, il serait urgent de prévoir un budget Rénovation. Le seul bon côté, c'est la serveuse qui est souriante et agréable. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

My stay at this hotel was very unsatisfactory. The room was clearly dirty, especially the windows and the air conditioning unit (see attached photos). Additionally, the air conditioning did not cool properly, making the room uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations, and I cannot recommend this hotel for anyone seeking basic hygiene and comfort during their stay.

Good location for both ferry and shuttle. Not too taxing to find. Parking on site with fee paid on arrival (€3) with additional local tax. Arrived late on the day but someone was available to check in. Motel set up, room was compact which was expected. Bed and pillow was surprisingly comfortable. However while other reviews say the rooms are clean our room absolutely stunk of stale smoke and was not a pleasant experience. Although the room was non smoking clearly a strive for continuous improvement does not include improving the overall experience of the room itself. I'm afraid our room needed a complete overhaul but given its location I doubt this will be high on the hotel's agenda. Will look elsewhere when next in the same situation.

Walked in and walked straight back out. Room was rough, smelt of weed and cigarettes. Mould on walls. Bed looked like the ones you'd put in the tip. Never again

Old style motel which did the job. My room opened up to the car park. This was good as I could keep an eye on my motorcycle. Room was dated & could do with a refurb but did the job.

We asked to be moved as the road and next room noise was unacceptable. We had an adjoining room even though we were not with another party. The room from next door went on all night. Also the road noise being on the ground floor front facing never stopped. We have stayed several times in various campanile but this was by far the most disappointing. Never slept all night and had to leave at 5am so not good.

Easy to find the hotel, although on a main road it was quiet. Only stayed for one night after a long drive before getting the ferry the next day, but the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and that was all that we needed. Place is beginning to look a little tired but will probably use it again.

This was a good property for what we needed which was an overnight stay before catching an early boat in Calais. We didnt arrive until 1am but the owner was there to make sure we could check in quickly. We didnt have breakfast but it looked really nice.

When we checked in the night staff was more interested in socializing than helping us, tried to use translator app to communicate but had no interest in helping us at all. She just waved in the general direction of our room and went back to her friends. Our room was in the back and upstairs and it was not well lit. Would NEVER stay there again!

We stay at this hotel a few times a year as a midway stop off. It has really nice staff, many speak english but even the staff who don't are friendly and we find a way to communicate. It is always nipping clean, nice towels and linens. It does breakfast and dinner as extras and it always looks smashing😊 Has free secure parking.

The receptionist gave us the feeling we were an inconvenience arriving and needing to check in. She was rude to the customer infront of us when he asked for some drinks from the fridge.She did not greet us with any pleasantries and would not encourage me to ever return to this hotel. Apart from this, the desk light was broken, the room smelt of smoke, there was a large hole in the bathroom where a vent grill had fallen out. The car park has insufficient places, the gates are not locked at night and guests are allowed to park so close to other cars it is ridiculous as you can't get into your own car

Great place for a stop over, I wouldnt recommended for more than that. The reception staff were really good and welcoming, they were really helpful. The room was clean but was in need of redecoration. Ideal for a stop over when leaving/getting ferry.

Friendly staff, accessible location NOT in the town centre so be prepared either to walk but bear in mind that all buses in Calais appear to be free ! Which we only worked out after a few days walking everywhere lols … It’s not the ritz but on par with French hotels at the same price point. There was a small bar and snacks to buy, but although it said it was a restaurant it didn’t have the vibe or look of it, and we didn’t see anyone eating dinner there, better to head to town. Calais is very cheap for eats and drinks, the beach is amazing, everywhere is clean, the parks and ambience are lovely, it’s overlooked and place to come but it recommended.

Really nice stop over. Family of 3 with a 7 year old. Clean enough. Staff lovely and friendly. Breakfast was a great little continental with good choices. Rooms could do with an update and fresh lick of paint but was clean, tidy and comfy enough. Cannot complain for the price.

Je me déplace tout au long de l'année et c'est l'une des pires expériences que j'ai vécu Chambre correcte sans plus avec un matelas indigne d'un hôtel, des fenêtres abîmées qui laissent passer le bruit des voitures Mais le pire se trouve au niveau de la restauration du soir Visiblement pas de cuisinier... dans ce cas là on ne propose pas de restauration !!! 26€ pour un coca zéro, 8 accras de morue congelés et une " boîte de pâtes carbonara " C'est abusé !!! Je déconseille fortement, hormis la serveuse et le prix de la chambre il n'y a rien de positif à retirer de cet établissement

It was all that we expected of Campanile, cheap and cheerful, an ideal overnight stay close to the ferry. The evening meal was substantial and surprisingly good. Will stay here again if using Calais to Dover ferry
