Séjour déplorable dans un hôtel Novotel soi-disant "4 étoiles" à Créteil. Nous avons été extrêmement déçus par la qualité de l’établissement. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons dû monter plusieurs escaliers pour accéder au hall, puis à un ascenseur si étroit qu’il ressemblait plus à un monte-charge. Autant dire que c’était un véritable parcours du combattant avec une poussette. La chambre était sombre, étouffante (la climatisation étant inexistante ou très peu efficace), avec des moquettes tachées, des traces de sang sur les murs et même des araignées. L’ambiance générale était oppressante, au point que nous avons tenté de fuir la chambre en allant à la piscine… qui s’est révélée minuscule et totalement bondée. Le personnel, visiblement épuisé et peu aimable, semblait subir autant que les clients les conditions de cet hôtel, qui n’a rien d’un 4 étoiles. Une expérience extrêmement décevante, indigne du standing annoncé. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Great stay. After a slight mix up with my booming and the required room type the staff went over and beyond to get us sorted. Great room, lovely staff in the restaurant. The hotel is a 10 min pleasant walk to the shopping mall where you the metro right into the centre. Lovely pool area. Would stay again.

Our week-long stay here was absolutely incredible. The staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and ensuring a seamless experience. Housekeeping was impeccable—rooms were cleaned daily, and staff even checked in to offer additional cleaning. Returning to a spotless, well-maintained room each day was truly delightful. The location is perfect, with the lake just a short walk away and a large shopping mall only 10 minutes on foot. Le personnel à l’accueil et au restaurant était vraiment sympathique et patient. La piscine est agréable mais il n’y a avait pas assez de transats. Il y a des fontaines à eau et eau pétillante à la réception. Les chambres sont correctes mais un tableau nous est tombé dessus pendant qu’on dormait. Le lac de Créteil est tout proche, avec un grand parc agréable pour les petits comme pour les grands. Je recommande grandement.

Das Hotel selbst war zwar ok. Aber in der Lobby und im Zimmer selbst war ein permanenter Geruch von Abwässern oder Kloaken, was die Familie als sehr unangenehm empfand. Daher die schlechte Bewertung. Die Rezeption ist kaum zu finden, da sie nur aus einem Regal und einem Tisch besteht.

Very disappointed with the room. Upon checking into the room I found a nickel size bed bug lying on its back on the bathroom sink. After my 2nd request the staff agreed to let me change room. Curtains and bathtub plug broken. Room has not been well maintained since pre-Covid. The staffs were inexperienced except for the ladies helping at the restaurant. I would never stay at this hotel again!

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Paris. It is set in a quiet residential area next to a large lake and although close to a road there was no traffic noise. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. There is a train station you can walk to and bus stops nearby, however, we did not use them, so I can not comment on them. Close by is a large, modern shopping mall, a 10 minute walk away, with a bug selection of shops and a huge supermarket. Inside the mall there were a wide range of places to eat all through the day and into the evening, including a McDonald’s. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food and service were excellent. You can scan a menu to read it in English, which was very helpful. We arrived very late at night after travelling on the Eurostar and were welcomed and booked in quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious and clean and was serviced every day. The bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle and cups and a few fruit teas bags and along with a small fridge/chiller in the room. There are water stations in the hallways where you can get chilled still or sparking water in a glass bottle, which was provided in the room. We had a great stay at this hotel and found all of the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Er is geen airco dat je zelf op je kamer kan aanpassen. Er is een algemeenlucht systeem waarmee de kamer temperatuur niet onder 15°c krijgt als buiten warm is. Met open ramen slapen voelde kouder aan.

This is my second time at Novotel Creteil Le Lac and it was again excellent! The staff is just amazing ! The hotel is very close to Creteil University metro station (Line 8) which is very convenient for people looking to visit Paris. Special thanks to Alima and all the restaurant / breakfast staff.

Plates wont be clean while u have breakfast. Pls watchout. AC will not work and instead they ask you to Open windows or will give you fan. For Checkin was waiting for 20 mins..no one was there at reception. If u come late at night with kids..becareful as staff at reception will watch Adult content on large screen. Room cleaning service is horrible.. inspite of placing DND, staff still try to enter to clean room. Hand football game is only for namesake. For 3 days i was following up but staff couldn't find.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Paris. It is set in a quiet residential area next to a large lake and although close to a road there was no traffic noise. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. There is a train station you can walk to and bus stops nearby, however, we did not use them, so I can not comment on them. Close by is a large, modern shopping mall, a 10 minute walk away, with a bug selection of shops and a huge supermarket. Inside the mall there were a wide range of places to eat all through the day and into the evening, including a McDonald’s. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food and service were excellent. You can scan a menu to read it in English, which was very helpful. We arrived very late at night after travelling on the Eurostar and were welcomed and booked in quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious and clean and was serviced every day. The bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle and cups and a few fruit teas bags and along with a small fridge/chiller in the room. There are water stations in the hallways where you can get chilled still or sparking water in a glass bottle, which was provided in the room. We had a great stay at this hotel and found all of the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Hotel is nice, breakfast was very bad, they also charged me for at the hotel for 3 breakfasts when I only had breakfast once (added to the room upon arrival for one day). They said that a manager would contact me to refund me and they did not, I have called multiple times but no one answers the phone.

Great stay. After a slight mix up with my booming and the required room type the staff went over and beyond to get us sorted. Great room, lovely staff in the restaurant. The hotel is a 10 min pleasant walk to the shopping mall where you the metro right into the centre. Lovely pool area. Would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel from the 7-10 Apr & they didn’t supply what I had booked & despite numerous requests they failed to address the issues raised. I booked 3 beds as my 2 step daughters cannot sleep together in a bed. When we arrived at the hotel (7th) we found that we had been given a room with just 2 beds. I raised this with the person on the front desk who said there was nothing she could do & I had to speak to the person who was on duty in the morning. In the morning I raised this with the person on the desk & they said when I returned that evening (8th), this issue would be resolved. When I returned in the evening, I spoke to the person on the front desk & they knew nothing about it. They tried to sort out another room but they said they only had another room exactly the same as what we had, but they would leave a note for day team to resolve it. I asked if I could have a complimentary breakfast as for 2 nights I hadn’t had the room I had booked. They said no problem & noted it down. When we came down in the morning (9th) at 0955 there was nothing left for breakfast. Another family was complaining as they had paid for a breakfast service and there was nothing there, see photos below: Food can run out but the person in charge of the kitchens attitude was terrible & she was also rude. So we left with no breakfast. We returned that night from Disneyland, our room hadn’t been changed & our existing room hadn’t been cleaned. Air con also didn’t work.

Sandrine makes the best breakfast in town! Everything is tasty. Of course, the croissant, the baguette, the bread in general is fresh and delicious. They gave yogurt with fruits in the side. They have various different kind of cheese. Great juices, hot chocolate, coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, etc. They even have bacon which is really not a French classic! They have cereals and pastries. I'm sure I forget some stuff. And everything is the best! The service staff at the restaurant and in the hotel is top notch. The only negative is the gate to get to the hotel didn't work when we were there. And the hotel would need a little refreshing of the rooms. But we would come back and stay there again in a heartbeat. 45 minutes drive or metro to Paris center.
