International solo travelers please read - NOT a standard hotel, check in must be arranged 24 hours in advance which is not stated prior to booking, at booking or when you receive confirmation of your stay. I messaged the hotel at 1030pm after happening to click the check in instructions and seeing the 24 hour requirement, arrived at 12am and called all of the 4 numbers on the door and luckily 1 called back. The hotel communication in the app never responded. The area is quiet at night, the hotel is pitch black inside and they leave your door open for late check ins which makes sense for you to get in but it was all quite unsettling as a female solo traveler. I added breakfast at my booking but they charged me for it at check out, so make sure you do not pay for breakfast in advance, your Expedia/hotels receipt doesn’t specify the addition of breakfast. The rooms definitely have mold, but keeping the windows open managed my sensitive nose and I suspect many hotels have mold here, the buildings are all old. Some positives - The town is very small, but felt very safe during the day. The location is beautiful, the hotel has a view of the cliffs and of sunset. The bed was comfortable. The beaches are amazing, I can see this town being a destination during summer. I don’t know if you can get a better hotel location or view.

Cracked mirror loose door handle missing handle on shower door, broken cover over waterpipes. And noone at hotel at arrival time, even after we got a mail that they would be there.

The room was ideal for our one night stay over and we loved the view from the large window. We was disappointed that when having pre dinner drinks, despite the restaurant being empty, we was told to move from the outside seating area to inside by the bar unless we was eating. We explained that we was unsure if we was eating at the hotel as was waiting for the menu. We was still told that we had to move with no menu being provided. After already waiting for 10 minutes despite four staff being in the area to be served a drink this made us decide to not eat there. We had toured various places in France over the previous 7 nights and had not experienced anything other than excellent and friendly staff and so was shocked by the staff in this hotel.
