This is a nice hotel in a very busy place. The rooms were good and the harbour view was spectacular. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. Parking was an adventure as it was located far from the hotel up a small road to a tiny lot which holds about 10 cars. The staff was friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay!

The hotel was delightfully situated with a view from our room over the pretty harbour. It was close to public parking although the payment system was complicated. The hotel was undergoing reconstruction so was rather noisy once work started and I think the breakfast accommodation was temporary and unattractive. Service was very friendly and helpful. The virtual booking in process was clumsy - I was asked several times by email to choose a room even though I had already identified this because of our mobility limitations.

Brilliant location for visiting Honfleur. Everything within easy walking distance. Wonderful views of the port from the room. Nice, clean modern and well appointed rooms with good ac. We were in the main building, not sure what the Annex is like. Parking was very difficult (in August) and staff could have been more sympathetic and helpful when we arrived as we were unable to find a parking slot and had difficulty unloading our luggage.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Before we left USA, they booked a table for us at a local restaurant when we requested they do so via email. We were concerned because it was a Saturday night. On premises they were helpful as well. Parking places are small so book a small car! Do call them before you arrive if you’re booking one of their indoor parking spaces. They can help you make it easier than pulling up in front of hotel. There is no place to easily pull over.

Très bien placé, calme, literie excellente. Dommage que la chambre donne sur l’évacuation du restaurant du dessous, en plus du bruit du moteur de l’évacuation, nous avons eu l’odeur….. Une autre odeur un peu gênante dans la salle de bain, celle de l’eau de javel, assez dérangeante. Sinon, personne très conciliante à l’accueil téléphonique qui a tout fait pour me satisfaire. Merci à elle!

Belle vue sur le port et jolie chambre mansardée. Mais pleine de toiles d’araignées et avec une solide couche de poussières sur les poutres. Il n’y a pas de double vitrage et un bar concert juste à côté. Le temps que les clients arrêtent de crier et s’en aillent il est 1h. du matin. La literie est en fin de vie. La baignoire aussi. Le petit déjeuner à 17,50 est cher par rapport à ce qu’offrent pour 19 euros plusieurs 4 étoiles qui sont à côté. Tout ça mérite une sérieuse rénovation, d’autant que le staff est aussi sympathique et attentif que le bâtiment et la localisation sont idéals.

We loved the older French decor, view and location. The breakfast was beautiful and all ready at the appointed time. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Our room had lovely air conditioning. The one item that I would suggest is to clean the tile floor in our room daily. Other than that we are returning next year!

Très déçue en arrivant dans notre location car canapé dans un état lamentable, la chambre avec trous dans les murs... inhabitable ! Heureusement le personnel de l'accueil au vue des photos a été très réactif et nous a relogé dans un appartement très bien agencé. The hotel was in a great position. Our room had a double aspect and in one view overlooked the harbour and the other view was over towards the estuary of the Seine. The staff were excellent, speaking French at first and when we had trouble, reverting to English. The hotel as a whole was clean and interesting. Becuase of the hotel's age some of the floors were not perfectly horizontal and the tairs were historic!

Très bonne localisation mais la qualité laisse vraiment à désirer. La literie est très mauvaise, vous sentez les ressorts du matelas et donc vous vous réveillez avec un mal de dos et une migraine. Chambres très petites. Ne vous chargez pas, ça ne rentrera pas! Petit-déjeuner standard avec produits tout faits ou décongelés. En revanche, le jus d’orange pressé est top et les confitures locales ainsi que les yaourts locaux sont top aussi ! Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel. Le tarif n’est pas justifié.

A nice hotel right in the center of Honfleur.. The room had everything except that the shower was part of the jet tub, so really strange and inconvenient. Parking on the street nearby. Food options abundant around the hotel. Right next to a small beautiful public garden.

First want to say Honfleur is a beautiful city but this property is awful. When I picked hotel air conditioning was listed as amenity. After we checked in and entered our way too small and hot room it was realized there was no A/C. We had too sleep in heat with windows open- making it extremely noisy and bugs entering as there were no screens. The low point of our accommodations in France for sure. I did attempt to contact Expedia customer service and front desk at hotel with no resolution. All around bad customer service. If you value a decent night sleep avoid this place !!

Our room at the Le Cheval Blanc for 3 was one of the largest we had during our trip to Normandy. The bathroom was by far the most spacious, and we had a great view of the Harbor. We stayed in the main building and would definitely recommend that.

Lovely hotel, very well located, in the beautiful town of Honfleur. Fantastic friendly warm welcome from the young lady who spoke perfect English. Very grateful to have received a free upgrade to a corner room with lovely views over the harbour. Very short walk into the town and marina areas. Car park within 100m - only 12euro per 24 hours. Fantastic breakfast. Can't wait to return to this lovely hotel. Special thanks to the receptionist when we checked in around 3.45pm on 22 May 2024.

Very much enjoyed our stay at this Best Western Hotel. The location and walk ability can not be beat. Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel has that old world charm that fits in perfectly with the ambiance of Honfleur. Room was spacious and confortable as well. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great hotel, reasonably priced in one of the most beautiful towns in France. The hotel is located directly across from the port - we could see the ferris wheel and merry-go-round from our window. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed.
