Stayed 1 night

Superb hotel just by the harbour, spacious room with AC, friendly staff. Stayed in large room 5 persons (2 adults, 3 small children) which had one bunk bed, one extra bed and one queen size bed. All slept very comfortably. Would definitively stay here again - especially since Honfleur was beatiful!

Stayed 2 nights

We stayed in an annex apartment in another street from the hotel. The flooring was some sort of plastic covering and the bathroom had what looked like toothpaste or shaving foam on the floor. The shower could have done with a good clean. Our main complaint was that there was no a/c and given that the temperatures were in the mid 30s the apartment was unbearably hot. We found a fan that was covered in dirt and would eventually switch on but made a terrible noise. The window in the bedroom would only open about 2 inches. There was a baloney window which opened on to a busy street and there were 2 cafes either side. After a hot and sleepless night we decided to leave. I went to the main hotel to explain our situation and was told we had a fan so that should be enough and that there was no other accommodation available. Also we would not get a refund if we left which we thought would be the case. The hotel advertised their rooms as having a/c and we naturally assumed that the annex would have likewise. I pointed out to the staff that given the extreme weather conditions, the lack of a/c and broken fan, it was remiss of them to be letting the apartment out. It was cooler outside than in the apartment. A shrug of the shoulders was my answer. Please be aware if you are considering booking the apartment that if it is hot you will be in for an extremely uncomfortable stay.
