Enjoyed staying at the hotel. Had some music in bar next door- jiving stuff -good to listen to but all stopped by 10 pm General area interestingly decorated. Visually inviting. Lots of celebrities who were ex visitors to the hotel had their photos n a few words on the wall in the corridors The room was relatively large for France. Quirky finishes. Only issue being at the port, parking some distance away in the parking station but htopark illegally to drop off Room

We visited the property for one night while in Marseille. It looks a bit run down from outside but inside is lovely. Looks to be remodeled or redecorated recently. Front desk was very helpful. Our toom looked out over the marina which was lovely. Few things to point out....air conditioning did not appear yo work well - it was very warm despite it being on; the second room had no windows so ventilation was non existent; the toilet was in a room of its own with no fan or ventilation; lack of outlets next to bed. We loved the funky decor, the Honesty Bar, the location, and the breakfast!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Clement Magnan who helped us straighten out a mix-up in our reservations that I caused when I tried to change our arrival date to a day earlier. Each of the front desk clerks was friendly and helpful, even printing out some specialized maps to help us navigate to a couple of stores. The hotel has an arrangement with a 24 hr, monitored parking garage with in/out privileges, that was a little tricky to find the first time, but within easy walking distance from the hotel. It was 14 euro / day. The housekeeping staff were very through and the room was spotless. Our view overlooking the harbor was wonderful. Area felt safe and is centrally located for access to most of the tourist attractions, and only a short walk to the museum. There is an amazing farmers market on Sunday right outside the hotel. Definitely recommended for a stay in Marseille

Very nice and simple hotel. Great view from food sized roomroom. Helpful staff. Parking is a short walk away under another hotel. Front desk can help. You pull up in front on a crowded street, so drop off of bags needs to be quick. No parking in front. Close to many restaurants. All things considered, this is a great place to stay in Marseille. One downside was there was only one free outlet in the bedroom. Maybe another one in bathroom.

Excellent location! Portside room view worth the price. Evening receptionist great. Took extra steps unprompted to get my bottle of wine chilled, then drew map of local wine shops to explore. City shut down street for a few weeks which caused our driver additional half hour in traffic. Hotel should post a notice on web or email guests scheduled to arrive to clarify back door dropoff address.

The hotel Is on waterfront. We were given a room With a nice terrace overseeing the water. The room is functional. There are many Restsurant next to the hotel. Parking is in a public lot and need to walk two blocks but the price was reasonable at 15 euro a day.

Location and view of the harbor from the room/ balcony was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only negative was that the parking garage closest to the hotel was full and we had to park at one slightly farther away.

The property itself is in an excellent location , across the street from the port and easy access to the metro . Shopping and dining all within walking distance . The room itself was clean and the view was amazing . Staff were quite rude when requesting anything for the room . There are not any ice machines so when we requested ice for the room most staff was very rude and seemed to be bothered . We booked a room with a balcony but did not receive it despite showing our receipt and booking details . The front desk staff said that this is a problem with hotels.com and not their hotel and to contact the booking site .

Beautiful old property with amazing location right on the old port. Small rooms, only one elevator and pricy BUT well worth it given its wonderful location and views, 500 restaurants within 500 metres, so walkable and excellent friendly staff. secure reserved parking 200 metres away by the old city hall. Our second stay in this property and will stay again when next in Marseille. Recommended.

Excellent location and fabulous view from the balcony. Despite being at the port, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable so I slept really well. Breakfast was very good (15 Euros a day as I didn’t book in advance). On the downside, the room wasn’t well cleaned/hoovered. They left a note saying they would only change bedsheets on request. I think this is scrimping. They would say it was to be eco-friendly but they weren’t eco-friendly with the rubbish - there was no dividers in the bin so all the rubbish was together. Room nice but at the end of the day you are paying for the view and location.

Our room had a "wet room". We were awakened by the gurgling of...waste water coming up the floor in our bathroom and the toilet almost overflowing. We were just in transit so didn\'t make a deal of it, but not awesome. Otherwise, great location, nice people. Rest of the room was fine/good. Just can\'t give it a higher mark on cleanliness...

The hotel is in a very good location with a good view. However, the hotel is a bit run down. The furniture is minimalist. The carpet especially in the corridor looks filthy. I would say this hotel is a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star.

Lovely view from room and breakfast area. Shower was in need of new grouting as was mouldy. Was not told about free bottle of wine included in room rate at check in, so didn’t drink it!! Breakfast was lovely, all staff very helpful!

The location is amazing and the room was very clean. It was beautiful to wake up to the view Notre-Dame off my balcony and watch people on the port. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would stay here again

We had a room on the 7th floor with a great view of the harbour and the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde. I do wish the bathroom had a shower, but the large bathtub did have a hand wand water spray.

Just one nice hotel with colourful chic character. The rooms face the old port (can be a bit noisy) and have balconies - great location and in room facilities really good, if slightly ageing. We loved it for 2 night stay.

Le vrai plus est le balcon pour prendre un café au soleil le matin (séjour en février, balcon baigné de soleil), avec vue imprenable sur le vieux port. En revanche, les rideaux ne sont pas suffisamment épais pour plonger efficacement la chambre dans l’obscurité, même la nuit (éclairages du vieux port) donc pensez à emporter le masque pour les yeux si vous êtes sensibles à la lumière (et les boules quies si vous êtes sensibles au bruit).

It did not feel like a 4 star property although the view from the room was great. The desk seemed short on staff although they were welcoming but harried. Our bed was comfortable and the AC worked which we appreciated. The shower was substandard and the hallways and entrances to the rooms felt more like a youth hostel than a 4 star property. Lots of restaurants in the area so no issues there. I think we’ve been spoiled by 4 star properties in Italy perhaps so we could be jaded.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Clement Magnan who helped us straighten out a mix-up in our reservations that I caused when I tried to change our arrival date to a day earlier. Each of the front desk clerks was friendly and helpful, even printing out some specialized maps to help us navigate to a couple of stores. The hotel has an arrangement with a 24 hr, monitored parking garage with in/out privileges, that was a little tricky to find the first time, but within easy walking distance from the hotel. It was 14 euro / day. The housekeeping staff were very through and the room was spotless. Our view overlooking the harbor was wonderful. Area felt safe and is centrally located for access to most of the tourist attractions, and only a short walk to the museum. There is an amazing farmers market on Sunday right outside the hotel. Definitely recommended for a stay in Marseille

My wife broke her wrist on the first day in Marseille. Silvi at the hotel was superb. Nothing was a bother to her. She made numerous phone calls for us to facilitate matters and without her superb assistance we would have been in strife. All staff were so friendly and the hotel is the perfect location in Marseille for sight seeing.

Fantastic place to stay in Marseille. Staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. Location is amazing - right in the heart of the old port with a sensational view. Very nice clean rooms: comfy, firm beds; good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very accommodating (we were travelling by bicycle and they went out of their way to store our boxes and help us get organized to fly home.)

The property itself is in an excellent location , across the street from the port and easy access to the metro . Shopping and dining all within walking distance . The room itself was clean and the view was amazing . Staff were quite rude when requesting anything for the room . There are not any ice machines so when we requested ice for the room most staff was very rude and seemed to be bothered . We booked a room with a balcony but did not receive it despite showing our receipt and booking details . The front desk staff said that this is a problem with hotels.com and not their hotel and to contact the booking site .

The hotel was very disappointing and misleading. There was nothing special about it, the staff were unhelpful, and the breakfast was overpriced. The location by the old port was extremely noisy—sirens, loud music, and constant activity made it impossible to sleep at any hour of the day or night. To make matters worse, when we adjusted our travel plans and checked out a day early, the hotel refused to make any exception to their policy and charged us for the third night we didn’t stay. We ended up paying just to leave, which says it all. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

I loved the view of the port from my room and the front desk staff was always super helpful and pleasant. It is noisy at night however which is to be expected on the port. The design is fun but it feels a little dated and my room needed repainting on chipped doors etc, Relais 50, the restaurant associated with the hotel was exceptional for dinner!

Fantastic central location in the Vieux Port, very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The train station is two metro stops away. Fantastic views of the harbor and a very nice restaurant downstairs. My favorite hotel in Marseille.

It is a great location. We were promised free breakfast each morning at check in - only to be told it was €15/person per day. The breakfast was average - all the "hot food options" were lukewarm to cold every morning and the bacon drastically undercooked . The TV - half the channels didn't work. And the half that did, half of them were unwatchable due to a glitch. We reported to front desk - to no avail. It is not a quiet hotel though as buskers are outside every day with drums, singers, accordions, guitars, etc

Amazing location by the port. Hotel was nice. Had a small bar at the first level. Great breakfast. Lots of good restaurants, marketplace, mall, pharmacies around. Train and bus station at walkabale distance. Staff was very helpful as well. Kudos to the staff in taking care of a lot of international tourists staying there due to the Olympics. Lastly view from upper floor towards port side was just stunning.

In a fantastic location harbourside in the Old Port with lots of cafe's and restaurants nearby. Great room with balcony overlooking the harbour with views to Notre Dame de la Garde. If I had one small complaint we asked for an earlier check in and were advised this was possible, but despite being told the rooom will be ready in the next hour from 12 noon didnt get in until the usual time of 3pm. Better if they had said not possible. Otherwise staff very helpful decent sized room with separate bathroom, capsule coffee machine, small fridge, and a free bottle of water and a HAT! Enjoy.

Property is close to many restaurants and attractions. Breakfast at the hotel was very good in addition to being convenient. Nice balcony overlooking the old port and Notre Dame Cathedral is an added bonus.
