Ideal for overnight sleepover if you are on an early flight the next morning. As regards the minibus transfer service: From the airport make sure you call the hotel as they will send the minibus, but get precise directions to the pickup point, as it is not well signposted. (Basicallly from hall A cross over the tram lines turn right and walk to the end of the paved area. There is a sign, but it is only visible from the roadway.) To the airport the minibus runs to a schedule during the daytime.

We were very happy with the hotel and the pool was a big bonus on a hot day. The location was close to the airport and with the tram nearby it was very easy getting to downtown Bordeaux for dinner. We would recommend this hotel and stay there in the future.

Dans l’ensemble, tout s’est bien passé durant mon séjour. L’entretien de l’hôtel était correct et le service globalement satisfaisant. Rien à redire de particulier sur les prestations proposées, qui étaient conformes aux attentes. Checked into this hotel at 3 PM so I could get a good night sleep before having to get up at 2 AM for an early plane reservation. Front desk called me at 11:30 PM while I was sound asleep to ask me what my name was! At first, I thought it was a prank call. I called the reception desk and it was a legitimate call from the front desk! Could not get back to sleep. Carpet in the hallway of the room was very damp upon check. Did not want to fuss or change rooms because I wanted to get a good night’s sleep. So much for that!

Mercure un peu vieillissant, bien insonorisé vis-à-vis de l’extérieur mais beaucoup de résonance à l’intérieur (vive le béton…). Impossible de régler la climatisation dans sa chambre dans tout l’hôtel. Un peu inadmissible pour un hôtel de ce standing ! Chambre vieillotte, lit qui se range verticalement mais du coup avec un cadre et tête de lit inconfortable, pas de prise au nu et des chevets… il est urgent de rénover !

Location to Bordeaux airport was our primary choice for selecting this hotel. It is literally a 10 minute walk to the airport. Down side was air conditioning was not functioning and we had a 6:20 am flight and airport shuttle does not start until 5:30 am leaving us with having to take a taxi (walk out of the question because we had too many bags).

When I booked it, it had a 8.4 rating but it’s more like a budget hotel. Paper cups to make tea, no complementary water bottles in the room (you have to buy them), no shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, etc in bathroom. Not what I would expect from Mercure

Wir waren bereits um 13:30 da, um die Koffer zu deponieren. Dabei wurde uns gesagt, dass das Zimmer bereits in 30 Minuten zum Bezug bereit wäre. Als wir nach der Fahrzeugabgabe um 14:10 ankamen, wurden wir auf die ordentliche Check-In Zeit um 15:00 vertröstet. Um 15:00 hat uns das Personal immer wieder um ca. 10 Minuten vertröstet, was allgemeine Unruhe brachte. Die ganze Halle war voll mit Wartenden die das gleiche Schicksaal hatten. Um 16:30 haben wir dann endlich den Schlüssel von unserem Zimmer erhalten. Als Entschuldigung wurde uns ein Gutschein für einen Drink abgegeben. Dieser Gutschein wäre besser am Anfang übergeben worden sein, um die Stimmung zu heben. Ebenfalls hätte ehrlich kommuniziert werden sollen.

Genuinely disappointed, primarily with the staff whose attitude smacked of contempt (rude, inpatient and dismissive). We would have ‘dealt’ with the dirty nature of our room had the staff been more willing to provide genuine hospitality but put the two together and I rate this hotel, of the many I’ve stayed in, one of the worst. Unfortunately in-laws are staying there in a few weeks. I’ll make sure they find a more suitable option before then. At least it’s close to the airport.

Gutes Hotel mit hübschen Zimmern nur 15 Minuten vom Flughafen. Die S-Bahn startet auch direkt von hier, so dass man in ca. 30 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Bordeaux ist.

Nice hotel, walking distance, 10 minutes, from the Bordeaux airport. Staff was great. I was traveling with a bike case and when there wasn’t room for with other passengers’ luggage, the staff made a quick second run to the airport.

This hotel lobby had a high-class look, and even offered two spigots for water - one for flat and the other for sparkling. The staff checked me in quickly. The breakfast buffet was exceptional in its food choices and freshness. The room was clean and comfy, although my window seemed jammed and the maintenance crew already left. I would definitely return to this hotel as it was reasonably priced, within a few minutes of the BOD airport, and had the amenities I described.

the hotel dining room looked very attractive but the food was very mediocre. Very little choice and what came to the table appeared to be straight from deep freeze and simply put on the table. Also we had booked our first night via Expedia and then booked an extra night a few days before our arrival via Accor and there was constant mix up about the 2 bookings. At first there was no record of 2nd booking though it had been paid when the booking was made. We left around 5 am to get an early flight and hotel staff insisted we use our credit card and pay again for the Accor booking, which we did (not happily) but at 5 am with the plane time getting closer had no choice. We didn't hear agin from them about the second booking except to pay the tax, of a small amount. It left a disappointed feeling as it could have been a much more pleasant stay. The shuttle to the airport worked well and the driver was very competent and pleasant.

We had booked for 1 night but British airways altered our flight times so only used the room in the afternoon and left before 7pm. We were disappointed that we could not get Any food as the restaurant didn't open until 7pm and only had an al la carte menu. Some sort of roll or club sandwich would have been better.

I was on a late flight into Bordeaux, so this was the perfect hotel for me. It was easy to find, it was easy to get the tram to the train station the next day, the service was very good. The breakfast the next morning was excellent.
