Very nice staff. Restaurant was closed. Only possible to buy bottles of beer in reception. Booked room almost one year ago. Had to take a taxi to get something to eat. No warning or message that the restaurant was closed. We were there to see the Olympic golf. Not possible to get anything to eat at the hotel. Very sorry for the staff to say that this hotel experience was very bad.

This hotel is a lovely sympathetic restoration of farm buildings which sit next to open fields and woodland. On site is also conference centre, farm shop and pony club. Approaching through village is very nice and the surroundings and ambiance is lovely. Plenty of parking and easy access to hotel. But, no elevators and a lot of small corridors and doors and stairs to some of the rooms so be sure to call ahead if you have mobility issues. The room allocated was in the “attic”area of one side wing, but the room was big with plenty of space. The hotel is classed as 4 star and the impression is like this, but closer inspection reveals some shabby-chic items could do with maintenance, lol. Hole in bath mat towel, peeling paint, bathroom basin push plug doesn’t work, cd player in room doesn’t find cd (radio was OK), all welcome signs and room booklet only in French (!) shower over bath is only viable by holding the shower head (no wall fixing due to ceiling slope, no blind on bathroom velux, … But, comfortable bed, good linen, adequate air conditioning, excellent pod Bosch coffee machine (no milk sachet) , mini bar fridge with multiple complimentary water still or fizzy. The restaurant looked nice but we didn’t dine there. Breakfast can be taken in the outdoor terrace overlooking lily pond. Outside are lots of garden to walk and some play park too. Woods are close by for shade from the sun if you want a cooler walk or morning run! Polite staff with quick check in and overall a nice

Worst 4 star hotel I have been in. We were there for the Olympics and found it severely understaffed. First room was very hot with no AC. We switched to a room with AC, but the bathroom smelled like a sewer. The manager was kind and competent, but the bar and restaurant were closed. Olympic prices with gutter-level service.

je ne comprends pas les 4*, deuxième séjour pour moi, déjà déçu par le premier mais vu les commentaires, j'ai retenté mais le constat est le même, trés vieillissant, tout est approximatif et rénové sans professionnalisme, pas d'isolation thermique, pas propre

Etablissement qui vieillit mal sur le plan technique. Quand nous avons pénétré dans les chambres qui nous avaient été attribuées, il y avait des problèmes de plomberie avec des fuites. On nous a changé de chambres. Là, certains interrupteurs et prises ne fonctionnaient pas, d'où un éclairage parcimonieux. Il y a aussi des problèmes d'organisation et de manque de personnel: en raison du nombre de résidents, un petit déjeuner fut chaotique, avec des manques sur tout (vaisselle, nourriture...). Le personnel essaye de faire face et s'est montré très serviable dans la recherche d'affaires qu'on croyait oubliées.

Perfect service, the surrounding is fabulous, especially when you are on Tour with a Dog. The Restaurant is very good, the personnel friendly and quick, but the room we Had, chambre superieure, was old and dirty and needs urgently a renovation. The breakfast was also very good, everything you need to start in the day.

Deux chambres louées pour 2 nuits, trois problèmes de plomberie. Constat de la première nuit: lavabo bouché dans une chambre, robinet de douche déboité dans l'autre. Très joli cadre. Équipement un peu vétuste (douche). Proximité des salles communales avec des fêtes la nuit (bruyant). Il faut demander une chambre au calme (très bonne réponse à notre demande. Le personnel a trouvé une chambre au calme).

Etablissement qui vieillit mal sur le plan technique. Quand nous avons pénétré dans les chambres qui nous avaient été attribuées, il y avait des problèmes de plomberie avec des fuites. On nous a changé de chambres. Là, certains interrupteurs et prises ne fonctionnaient pas, d'où un éclairage parcimonieux. Il y a aussi des problèmes d'organisation et de manque de personnel: en raison du nombre de résidents, un petit déjeuner fut chaotique, avec des manques sur tout (vaisselle, nourriture...). Le personnel essaye de faire face et s'est montré très serviable dans la recherche d'affaires qu'on croyait oubliées.

Nous avions une fête a la ferme du Manet et avons dormi a l’auberge. Très bon accueil et nuit très calme à l’auberge du Manet. Et surtout, les équipes de l’auberge nous ont aidé au mieux pour avoir la chambre disponible en avance, avec un lit d’appoint. Merci beaucoup à elles.

Worst 4 star hotel I have been in. We were there for the Olympics and found it severely understaffed. First room was very hot with no AC. We switched to a room with AC, but the bathroom smelled like a sewer. The manager was kind and competent, but the bar and restaurant were closed. Olympic prices with gutter-level service.

Very nice staff. Restaurant was closed. Only possible to buy bottles of beer in reception. Booked room almost one year ago. Had to take a taxi to get something to eat. No warning or message that the restaurant was closed. We were there to see the Olympic golf. Not possible to get anything to eat at the hotel. Very sorry for the staff to say that this hotel experience was very bad.

I liked that they offer dinner and breakfast for an extra charge offcourse. Their prices for dinnner are a bit high. I paid 35 euro for my meal and that and that doesnt enclude any starter or desert. Glass of red wine was 15 euro which i felt was extortion but i ordered it anyway. The bed in the room has white linen alright but a bit uncomfortable. The bar fridge is free but there is only water in it so dont expect much when youopen it.I liked that the hitel is in a quite area and there is jo noise whatsoever. Their staff are excellent i give them 11 put of ten.Desert that i tasted from husband plate was excellent

We booked a Superior Double and was expecting the room to be similar to the ones in the photos in regard to quality of room. The room decor was dated and we had to check we had been put in the correct room as the photos showed 4 poster beds with modern bathroom, we had been given something that resembled a Hostel room. They said they can't do anything about the room as they were already over-booked, which makes me think we had been downgraded but still charged for a Superior. Definitely will avoid this one in future. A shame really as the exterior did look amazing, but the interior was a major let down.

Perfect service, the surrounding is fabulous, especially when you are on Tour with a Dog. The Restaurant is very good, the personnel friendly and quick, but the room we Had, chambre superieure, was old and dirty and needs urgently a renovation. The breakfast was also very good, everything you need to start in the day.
