Hôtel Les Frangins

Lovely staff! Really helpful and nice. But for the price, the room wasn’t clean enough. Lots of dust imbedded around the skirting boards, holes in the curtains, raised stains on the toilet. Yellowing around the base. Bathroom only half tiled - so a stand up shower is out of the question. The bed was comfortable and was fresh, aside from visible hairs. The bed runners should be removed altogether. Mine had biscuits of some sort trampled into the reverse side. If it’s not washed, don’t put it on the bed! Zero in-room amenities apart from generic body wash and paper cups. A kettle and a single sachet of coffee costs very little, but not supplied. Shameful really. I understand it’s a low star rating and cost cutting is inevitable, but with just a little investment it could be a lovely place to stay. Again staff were lovely. Do remember, you can’t check in between 2.30 and 5.30 - closed. I arrived at 2.25 and it was closed. I had to sit in a bar (with my bags) for several hours. For €8 more I could have had a very different experience in another hotel. Not sure it was worth the minor saving.

Very comfortable accommodation whilst on a Cycling tour. Great value for money

Very helpful owner. Great to have a garage to park our motorcycles, very secure.

The breakfast is lovely; a really great croissant and freshly baked bread. The bar is excellent with many local beers to choose from. Our beds were all comfortable and everything was clean and neat.
