Such a convenient location in Albany, easy parking and lovely warm welcome when I arrived. Definitely stay there again when next in Albany which showed its usual cold and wet weather. The room was comfortable, warm, quiet and I slept well, thank you.

We had a lovely spa room with a double bed and 2 single beds in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was nice and spacious and had a spa Room service was great and quick even when they were extremely busy and food was delicious The only downside to Ace was no pool, no bbq that we could find and no toaster in our room

We arrived late and appreciated the onsite dining. Our meal was good and the waiter attentive and helpful with local information. Our room was large but still without enough places to put our bags and possessions. The furnishings were tired but the linens great. We didn't mind no daily cleaning, we got what we needed by asking. Onsite laundry was handy and we especially liked the large outdoor drying racks. There is not much close to the hotel, the CBD is a 30 minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The king bed was comfy, the room was clean, the ladies on reception were very friendly. We had breakfast, both menu and buffet, which was very nice. Top parking can be a little squeezy if you have a big car. We were ok until our neighbour parked over half our side. Small thing, trim the garden in row 3, so cars can park safely and not take out their bumpers on the rocks hidden underneath, also allowing other cars to easily pass behind. Would definately stay again otherwise

Loved everything about this place. Easy parking outside our room, all the rooms are ground level, family friendly, cozy, clean room with all the amenities we needed. Friendly, accommodating staff, fantastic restaurant with amazing food and portions. I would highly recommend this place. Absolutely loved my stay here!

Although room was spacious enough, the carpets in the room were very stained and dirty. Also oily marks or stains on the feature wall in the room. The Ladies checking you in were quite argumentative and opinionated, seemed middle aged and negative. Not a welcoming and accommodating attitude at all. Rooms need refreshing, smelled of bleach like a laundry.

I stayed at your accommodation twice in two weeks and both my were not up to stande as the first night we stayed the blanket was dirty ( it either had vomit or goodness knows what) Last night my sheets were dirty and I only had one towel in my room.

The reception staff were friendly & helpful, but that was probably the only positive from my stay. There was a lot of long hair left in the bathroom & on the bed, the shower head did not work properly & the room just didn't feel 'clean'. I don't think I will be rushing to stay here again.

Room was spacious, clean and modern-looking with an impressively large sized wall-mounted TV and keycard access. Bed was also big and very comfortable. Appreciated that there were plenty of power points, tissue box and rubbish bin in the room, complimentary water jug in the fridge, double railing closets with hangers not locked to the rails, plenty of shampoo & conditioner in large dispensing bottles, and there was dispensing handwash! These small amenities are often overlook but Mandala Ace Albany excelled at. The bathroom is a slightly aged but large and functional, and there is a separate door to the toilet, separating it from the shower and wash basin, which was great! Parking is complimentary on a first come first serve basis. Location is on a main road, but noise was not an issue as the speed limit was 60km. Easy access to the town centre being a few minutes' drive away. Not much to fault but perhaps more town hooks/rails in the bathroom. Overall, a very smartly designed room and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again next time we are in Albany.

A lovely clean room. Bed very comfortable. The rooms are old, but clean. Bathroom could do with an upgrade - a bit sad. Took forever for hot water to eventually run through. One negative thing is that there was no microwave. Apparently because there is the restaurant, but that’s only open Wed-Sat nights. I think a microwave should definitely be supplied. Usually standard in hotels. I think it’s good that the room is not serviced unless requested - great idea.

This is a great hotel to use as a base to travel around the area. We stayed 4 nights and it was generally quiet although you can hear some noise from neighbours and road but we expected that. Bed was comfortable. Room size adequate and easily warmed with the reverse cycle air conditioning. A small bar fridge. Best part is including breakfast in our stay and having the restaurant on site to get evening meals. They also have the most amazing native flowers growing

Decent hotel, clean, quiet, fridge, microwave, ok location. But...i arrived at 1:35pm to check if my room might be ready and it was the first time ever that the staff person didn't get my name and check if my room was ready yet; in this case the woman just said the cleaners are still cleaning (generally) and to come back in 20 minutes. I want too impressed with that level of service. Otherwise the hotel was nice.

Fantastic breakfast; compliments to the chef. Restaurant wasn't open in time and was done so when we rang a few minutes later. Thankfully the hot breakfast was already and we could tuck in straight away. The remote to TV didn't have batteries and we had to walk all the way back to the reception to get 2 in the rain as they didn't have staff to send it to the room.

Overall really nice stay. Check in was pretty quick, staff were friendly enough. The room was nice although you need to ask for housekeeping. Only issue is the bathroom needs an upgrade. It’s dated and has that cheap look to it. It’s also a 4-5 minute drive from Albany township. So you need a car but I guess everyone does who visit Albany.

King bed was lower one side than other. Room was nice and shower pressure was fantastic but could see mould growing in shower. Upon arrival was told restaurant would not be open for dinner and would not be serving breakfast. Was disappointing as that was one of the reasons i chose this accommodation. Overall the stall was ok but will not be looking at this option again.

Rooms comfortable but the continental breakfast was limited and the pancake and coffee machines weren't working properly. The one staff member capable of fixing it couldn't. For $20, we ended up with cereal, juice and toast. If the pancakes and coffee worked it may have been decent value.

I found the room very good, nice and clean, very roomy and the bed comfortable. The shower and toilet area was again clean and in good working order. There was not any cutlery provided which I assume is to influence you to use the Motels restaurant where my major concern lies, without doubt it would be the worst meal we have had.We had breakfast I ordered pancakes with berry compote,syrup and ice cream , the edges were crispy to a point of non edible and they were so thin and yellow in the middle nothing what I would recognise as a pancake. My wife ordered eggs Benedict the eggs were so over cooked they were more boiled than pouched, the whole meal was dry. In this day and age restaurants should have a decent espresso machine no it was instant coffee machine all in all poor. Please get a new chef
