Used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the South of France. Hotel is not in the best condition and could use a proper renovation (toilets don’t flush, pool was out of order during our stay), carpeting and bedding clean but old an worn. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The common areas at this hotel are beautiful. The outdoor deck and pool are beautiful, the reception area is very nice, and the restaurant is attractive. The location is great. The hallways and our room needed paint and updating. The porch floor was pealing and cracked, and the ceiling had what looked like a water leak line. The dinner staff were wonderful, especially Massey and the chef…and the food was delicious. The breakfast staff were not great, with minimal friendliness and interaction, and the breakfast buffet was very poor. Very poor scrambled eggs, a rude response from 1 male waiter when a request was made for a fried egg, the cheese choice was minimal, sweaty and moldy, and there was no fruit salad. The breakfast staff were more concerned about setting up for lunch in stead of attending to our needs. Very poor. They need waitress and waiter training!!

Lovely hotel in great location. Short walk directly along the river into old town.good parking for 8 euros per night. You cannot reserve parking and it was busy but its a big car park so we got a space ok

Tout d'abord, sachez qu'à mon départ je me suis entretenue avec le réceptionniste qui m'a fait une remise de 40€ sur la note totale. Chambre 110, payée 150€. Chambre très vieille et très mal entretenue: Robinet thermostatique bloqué et cassé à 38° (pas d'eau froide). Douche de tête pleine de calcair (j'ai nettoyé moi même). Gel douche fixé au mur en plein milieu de la douche (je me suis cogné sans cesse dedans). Peinture craquée dans la sdb. WC encrassé. Poil humain au sol. Contoure de porte rongé. Climatisation bloquée à 22°. Pas de prises électrique en tête de lit. Trace d'un vieux tableau au mur. Bref 150€ pour une telle prestation, été ou pas, c'est du vol.

I booked a room for myself and my 2 children. I paid the half board rate. On arrival, I was told that my children were not included in the half board rate. At dinner, I was given my starter and main which I chose from a small, separate menu and then instead of being offered dessert, they asked ‘would you like a coffee or is everything finished?’ At breakfast, it was really busy, so we were out in an overflow room which wasn’t made up. ‘Leave it to us’ they said. So we served ourselves at the buffet and then came back to find the one table they had laid was occupied. Some stood in the middle of the lobby with our bowls of cereal and waited for cutlery, a glass and somewhere to sit. The room was filthy, and really noisy/ it well insulated from the noise of the other rooms.

La habitación correcta y el personal de recepción agradable. El problema el restaurante, lleno de telas de arañas, arañas, moscas. Cenamos y nos trajeron la cuenta sin traernos el postre del menú de mi hijo y sin ofrecernos el postre a nosotros. Los camareros iban muy a su bola. Nos quejamos de la cantidad de arañas que nos rodeaban y su respuesta fue que es algo natural (comedor interior). Intentaron taparnos la boca con 6€ de descuento en un tiket de unos 150€. Absurdo. Muy decepcionados en ese aspecto. Nunca he visto algo tan sucio.

Par contre, par rapport aux chambres classiques (et notamment celles réservées initialement), le second lit est un canapé lit. En mode canapé, l’assise est très verticale donc inconfortable. La télévision n’est pas connectée à internet et donc impossible d’utiliser YouTube ou le cast… en outre la télévision est installée dans un cadre en bois qui bloque le son… Salle de bain: petit dégât des eaux sur un mur près de la douche… mauvais effet pour une rénovation. Christian at the Reception gave us an enthusiastic and informative welcome. The entire staff was communicative, efficient and affable. The room was comfortable, spacious and functional with river view. It became warm in the middle of the two nights, even though the thermostat indicated 18C. Felt like 26C. Dinner at L'Entreact was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter, Mourchad was attentive and took excellent care of us. The Menu offers a vast variety of choices. Food preparation was very good. The entire wait staff offered great and accommodating service to all patrons. And specially with children. The facade needs a touch up but the lobby is classy.

Bon séjour, personnel sympathique , l'hotel bien situé proche du centre ville ( 10 minutes a pieds) et de la gare (10 minutes en bus ou 20 minutes à pieds) - Nous étions dans une chambre non renové, il fallait payé un surplus pour etre dans une chambre refaite je trouve le procédé limite. Le montant de préautorisation est également trop élevé, plus cher que le prix de la chambre !!!

Un bel établissement suite aux travaux récents que nous avons suivi venant dans cette hôtel tous les ans. Malheureusement les finitions laissent à désirer pour un établissement 4 étoiles: moquette tachée de marques jaunes dans diverses endroits, portes des ascenseurs présentant encore des marques de laitance, sol du petit déjeuner et table des mugs tachés… Le plus affligeant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles a été le niveau du personnel - peu aimables pour certains, non chalands et très en retrait sur l’ancipation des besoins du client. Nul doute que le personnel, pour certains collaborateurs, n’est pas à la hauteur de l’établissement et est à l’origine de cette malencontreuse expérience dans un établissement où nous n’avons habituellement jamais été déçu tant il a du potentiel et tant il est bien placé.

We really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - it was original and delicious, and included fresh vegetables. Breakfast was good too. The room was comfortable with a good shower. The only drawback for me was the décor. I found it lacked subtlety and good taste - lots of black and hard, shiny accents.
