Great location and would definitely stay here again as there is lots of shopping outside your door. Historical centre is easy to reach on foot..approximately 15 min walk. Please note that the elevatoronly holds 3 persons so if you are a family of 4 you all cannot ride the elevator as it did break down in our stay due to people ignoring the advisory .

The good: property is in a great location in the centre of town and just a few minutes from the train station. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The bad: The hotel is in poor condition and in need of refurbishment. When we arrived our air conditioner had a massive leak all over the carpet (to their credit, they gave us a new room). We also got stuck in the lift, which was quite frightening. The hotel staff were able to get us out and told us that sometimes the lift malfunctions in bad weather. After the second time the lift didn't work properly we stopped using it, which was annoying because we were on the 5th floor. The rooms were otherwise ok but our toilet also needed a few tries to flush properly. A little bit of investment would really improve the experience as the hotel is in a great location and an otherwise lovely place.

Don't be fooled by the picture! The hotel doesn't look at all like this! I think this is a picture of a building in nearby Place Bellecoeur. The location is great. I think there's street parking nearby, but I think you have to pay for it. There are a couple of nearby parking garages nearby. The one that is cheaper, you have to book well in advance for it. A few things: Some of the rooms I think are probably very small as ours was (Room 217). We don't mind small, but luckily we were travelling very light and had just the 1 carry on bag for the 2 of us. If we had had even 1 more carry-on bag, let alone a larger there would have been only a tiny bit of, if any floor space left, so you need to consider this depending on what you're travelling with. The door lock was very difficult to open from the outside and especially from the inside! I reported it and hopefully, it's been fixed. Decent breakfast for 10€/person. If all you want is a croissant & coffee, there's a Cafe Brioche (I think that was the name) diagonally across, that opens at 7. There's coffee in the lobby. The day we arrived, we gratefully helped ourselves to a much needed cup. The next day, there was a sign in the coffee area saying that the coffee is 1.80€. A bit tacky, really.

It was lovely to stay in a property with character in the very centre of Lyon. The room had air-conditioning. The downside was no bar or restaurant (except for breakfast), no porterage and the TV only had French channels.

Great location, centrally location next to market, restaurants, and Metro. Staff very friendly and they let you leave room key with the front desk when leaving for the day. Bedding smelled weird and had coffee stain when we checked in. They came quickly to drop off new sheets and pillow. Unfortunately maid is gone for the day, so we have to change the sheets ourselves.

Quadruple room was spotless and bathroom had two sinks and a walk-in shower. We even enjoyed a complementary continental breakfast served in the lobby, which we were not expecting. The hotel’s location is perfect, as it is close to shopping and restaurants and walking distance to all attrractions.

Staff was great and the property is close to the old Lyon and many restaurants as well as shops. The only thing which was a let down was the smelly pillows and pillow cases. The smell was quite terrible. I did ask for clean (new) pillow cases but they also smelled. I am unsure what is used to wash the bed linen, but PLEASE do something about it. I had to put one of my tops on my pillow to sleep :(

La ubicación es excelente, el chico de la recepción muy amable, nos entregaron la habitación en cuanto llegamos, el check in súper rápido. En cuanto a la habitación, no estaba tan mal, nos tocó con balcón, la vista súper linda, pero el baño tenía un olor a orines, y el piso de la habitación estaba desnivelado en una parte de la habitación, de repente se iba uno de lado. Tiene un pequeño refrigerador, pero estaba súper sucio, compré un líquido para desinfectarlo y poder usarlo. En ese aspecto si hace falta bastante limpieza, porque donde estaba la cafetera, también estaba lleno de polvo, y tuve que limpiar la mesa, el refrigerador y el baño.

The location was ideal, easy walking to shopping, restaurants, metro and bus stops. I really liked that there was staff 24 hours and they were very helpful. I was facing the avenue and it was extremely noisy, and it wasn't even summer. Other than the noise, I was very happy with my stay.

We loved this hotel. It was me, my husband and teenage son. We had 2 queen beds and a balcony. Everything was lovely and all at the front desk were helpful and patient. They called a taxi for us upon leaving and allowed us to store our luggage after check out. This is an amazing location with easy walking to everything. We adore Lyon! Thank you so much.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible! It felt like we were transported back in time. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. The breakfast, while simple, was delicious and hit the spot. Being right in the heart of the city allowed us to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again and again!

We checked in late-our train had a delay of almost 120 minutes, the person who checked us in was very friendly, helpful, polite.The room was okay. The only thing I canno recommend is the breakfast, in the country of baguettes and croissants I would expect to get fresh good tsting croissants and baguettes.. sorry.. these were old.
