This was our first time visiting Lille and I wanted a hotel that was fairly central to the places that we would be visiting, would be suitable for my mother and sister, included breakfast and was not too expensive. The Holiday Inn Express Lille Centre by IHG was therefore absolutely perfect for our needs. The reception area is bright, clean and welcoming. All the members of staff that we encountered during our stay were kind, polite and very helpful. The rooms were well maintained with clean bathrooms, comfortable beds (fresh crisp white sheets, nicely weighted duvets), a window that could be opened for fresh air and there was sufficient storage for our two-night stay with a hanging rail, shelf, small pigeon-hole bedside table and luggage rack. Breakfast was a beautifully laid-out buffet with a wide selection of foods with something for everyone. We absolutely fell in love with Lille and I can't wait to return again soon with my husband and children this time. The Holiday Inn Express Lille Centre by IHG will be my first choice of accommodation.

Our room was at the top and very small, we were surprised to see there were no cupboards or drawers and only a small space to hang clothes, so we were living out of our suitcases, which spoilt our time a bit. However, the bed was really comfy, the shower great and good breakfast. We also had 2 stations on the TV showing English films which was good. The staff were really nice and did tell me that they plan to change those rooms before next year to include cupboard space. The location was good too.

Pleasantly surprised with the staff at this hotel. They were all friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the best. The rooms were clean, breakfast was extensive for a Holiday Inn. The location was convenient to all Lille has to offer. Would definitely consider this hotel again!

The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The included breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety of breakfast options. Our AC did not work and we were kindly offered a fan. The hotel parking is very tight but had restricted access so it felt secure. The area around the hotel is not the usual for a Holiday inn express. It felt like a run down, economically challenged neighborhood. Sidewalks broken up and garbage lying around.
