L’hôtel était bien. Relativement propre. Isolément des chambres, pas top… Au petit déjeuner, ils ont de la peine à débarrasser les tables… Petit déjeuner correct, mais pas +++ de choix non plus. Cependant il y a passablement de travaux sur La Rambla. L’accès à l’hôtel est compliqué en voiture. Appeler l’hôtel pour info, car il faut passer certaines ruelles vu que sur l’axe principal c’est travaux. Le parking est déconseillé ! Nous avons un Mercedes classe V, et c’est très très très compliqué. La situation sur la rambla est bien par contre. Le restaurant de l’hôtel très bon !

They got only one lift for guests and as we got rooms on 6th floor, it was hard to walk down all steps with kids to ground floor when it’s been occupied. During my stay , lift was not accessible for 3 days

While staying there in June, the hotel is under renovation so you have workers around in the hotel. And the renovation started even before 9am and we had to feedback to concierge on the renovation noise. Moreover the light turns off on its own as the sensors were not sensitive or missing to detect there’s people inside the room. The location of the hotel is great but properly would only stay in this hotel after it completes the renovation.

Hotel was well appointed. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a huge TV. Breakfast provided was very good with good selection. We did have to call for maintenance to fix the shower drain after small flood in bathroom. This was quickly corrected. Only 1 very small elevator available for use and this was not in service for part of our stay, but a service elevator was used to help travellers with luggage up to their rooms. Except for these hiccups, excellent stay and staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel is undergoing renovations, during the day extremely noisy, when you come off a 19hrs flight you need to sleep , not at this hotel, if they wanted happy guess they should of reduce the prices about 70 percent

We had an excellent sty at Royal Ramblas. We got in very early and they were kind enough to hold out bags until check-in time so we could park and go explore the city. There is no parking on site but there is a garage a few blocks away that was very easy to get to. We were able to unload our things at the curb in front of the hotel so as not to have to drag them around from the garage to the hotel. The hotel is located right on Las Ramblas which makes it very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions in the area. Our room was comfortable and clean with good WiFi. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Hotel was in great location on bustling La Ramblas. Walking distance to many attractions (Gothic Quarter, Ciutadell) and close to transportation. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Room had a good layout. Some renovations were ongoing during our stay causing mild inconvenience. Only real drawback was inconsistent attention to room cleaning. All this said, we would book another stay at The Royal Ramblas.

The Royal Ramblas i slocated right on one of the busiest streets of Barcelona. There is alot going on and people everywhere. It makes it easy to walk anywhere from here but you have to be okay with crowds. For my family and I, we would choose amother area if we visit again. The hotel is small and has no room service so that is something to consider. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable but they were small and dont expect a view. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location in the middle of Ramblas, close to all the restaurants and shops. Friendly staff during the check-in. Only negative that I can’t get over is the cleanliness of the rooms or lack thereof. Carpet needs to be replace and you can see how dirty the tables and other furniture are.

This is no way a 4 star hotel. The room was nearly $400 per night and looked out onto another wall 8 feet away. Dark, depressing and very dirty. Hair in shower in a supposedly clean room, hole in dry wall, stained towels. Really awful and I’m very annoyed it is billed as a 4 star hotel and that we paid soooo much for a dirty, dark room. Terrible…

The hotel was fantastic. The room was spotless and very spacious for a family of 3 travellers. The water station is great for topping up our water bottles. The location is perfect, right on La Rambla but still nice and quiet in the rooms. The staff were super friendly and really helpful, with great recommendations for dining and shopping. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfectly located hotel in Barcelona – ideal for exploring the city on foot and with great transport links nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite, friendly and happy to help. The only small downside was the lack of storage: a couple of hooks for coats and a few more hangers in the wardrobe (there were only about 3–4) would have made the stay even better. Overall, a very good experience.

Great Location. Very clean modern appointment rooms. Sofa bed was NOT comfortable at all. Not appropriate for anyone over 12 to sleep on. However, the main bed was extremely comfortable. High quality mattress and linens. bathroom was clean and modern. Shower water pressure was very poor. Staff was super helpful with any of our requests and very friendly. Didn't like that we paid $400 euro for the room a few months in advance, and one day before checkin, the rate was $200 euro. Not right. But overall, its a great hotel for families and convenience to all of what Barcelona has to offer.

Very nice location. The rooms, however were small, with very little space to keep clothes and everything else. There was not a place to open the luggage, only at the top of the bed. The staff were nice and helpfull. The hotel was good, but not a 4 star hotel.

Great location, however hotel was going through renovations as was the Rambla. Was delayed over 24 hours getting the room we paid for as the category of room was not available due to a water leak. Hotel manager was not interested in expediting getting us in to the proper room. Note the subway runs directly beneath this property and you feel the rumbling day and night.

I booked two rooms. One is much better than the other one. One is newer, recently renovated and clean. The other is older and not enough lights. Overall location is great. Close to everything. Busy but quiet. Staff were ok. The boys helping with luggage are good. The front desk staff so so. I would come back but will definitely ask for the newer rooms.

Reserved for a comfort triple with a separate bedroom with 2 twins/ 1 king and a twin in living room. Was put in a double with smaller room and no bedroom living area separated. The hotel staff continually argued that it was an upgrade like I was stupid. They did give me the room reserved after 2 days and provided free breakfast. I had to argue to get back the free breakfast when they removed the breakfast after 2 days.

Hotel is in a great location perfect for all parts of the city . We arrived at 9am check was 3 pm the staff did check us in early then emailed us when our room was ready . The hotel stored our luggage and it was already in our room when we arrived back a few hours later . The staff were outstanding couldn’t do enough for us . I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. The breakfast was also really good . Perfect stay !

Royal Ramblas Hotel Review “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” The Good: Location on La Rambla-walking distance to many restaurants, markets, and tourist sites. Breakfast was very good. The Bad: Check-in and room refurbishing. Check-out is at noon. Cruise ships dock at about 8AM and other tourists show up for check-in during the morning. All ask if there is early check-in or how long the wait will be. Unfortunately, the lobby agents tell tourists to expect an email when the room is ready, implying check-in will be sooner than it actually is: 3-5 hours. Check in was terrible. Are room wasn’t ready at 3p and the front desk kept helping others while we were waiting. The front desk staff made us feel like we were a bother every time we asked if our room was ready, yet. We were extremely tired after flying for over 24 hours and all we wanted to do is get to our room.

The only small downside was the lack of storage: a couple of hooks for coats and a few more hangers in the wardrobe (there were only about 3–4) would have made the stay even better. Convenient location in Barcelona. We felt safe as a family, but did get pick pocketed at dinner a few blocks away. Would not eat at the restaurants on La Rambla, but hotel is close to many great restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean, comfortable and updated.

Royal Ramblas location is perfect . Close to everything and super convenient as you can reach other part of the city via metro. Food around the area are plenty and great quality. Definitely worth staying here instead of those fancy hotels.

hola, en general el hotel esta muy bonito y cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias, de hecho Fernan y Marc de recepción son espectaculares cvon sus recomendaciones y su trato, felicidades, pero lo que no me gusto es que se escucha el ruido de afuera tremendo no dejan dormir y aparte la calle esta en remodelación entonces fatal, y adentro tambien estan haciendo remodelación y pues igual muchgo ruido. pero en general el hotel esta super bien ubicado y cerca de los lugaeres turisticos, solo consideren el ruido.

Great location in the heart of Barcelona. They are updating the rooms and we had a newly update room. Modern, but the hvac was a little confusing to operate, but once we called, someone was there in a few minutes to show how to operate it. Nice to have both heat and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. Our room overlooked Las Rambles and it was well insulated from all the people and potential noise down below, especially during the evening. There is a subway running under Las Rambles which you can slightly hear when it goes by, so if you are very sensitive to sound you might want a room on the other side of the hotel. The breakfast was good (same every day) scrambled eggs, meat, cold cuts, cheese, breads, fruit, etc. We paid for it as part our room and don’t regret it. Nice to get a full meal before starting out on your day. The staff was very helpful with holding our bags (we came off a cruise ship and arrived in the morning) and getting us a taxi for our trip to the airport. Good customer service.

The triple room was outdated and I didn’t love the glass window so you could see into the bathroom/shower from the room. A lack of privacy that I have never experienced. Hopefully this will be sorted with the renovation. Also the renovation was extremely loud. We should have been comped breakfast during our stay to make up for it. The location is wonderful! I will stay again once renovations are complete! Restaurant was very good.

L’hôtel était bien. Relativement propre. Isolément des chambres, pas top… Au petit déjeuner, ils ont de la peine à débarrasser les tables… Petit déjeuner correct, mais pas +++ de choix non plus. Cependant il y a passablement de travaux sur La Rambla. L’accès à l’hôtel est compliqué en voiture. Appeler l’hôtel pour info, car il faut passer certaines ruelles vu que sur l’axe principal c’est travaux. Le parking est déconseillé ! Nous avons un Mercedes classe V, et c’est très très très compliqué. La situation sur la rambla est bien par contre. Le restaurant de l’hôtel très bon !

Comfortable room; easy to get to by foot from placa de Catalunya (where aerobus goes from airport). Helpful staff. Good shopping and eating options nearby. Only negatives are the extensive construction on the street outside and the odd door code system. If you can set your phone to open the door via app then it works. Entering the code manually only works half the time.
