The Onix Fira had a nice size room, price was good, it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was Wifi in the room. Internet connection worked in their business center area only.

Overall had a great stay at the Onix Fira. The room was pretty well sized, but a little lacking on storage. The pool was small but a perfect retreat for us and our 4 year old and rarely crowded. The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful. The orange lighting in the hallways was a little weird but you get used to it. The breakfast was decent, but you could easily save the 14 Euros and hit a pastisseria nearby. Location is great for convenience to the airport, but a little further out for some of the sights. But this was fine since we'd been to Barcelona several times and the metros are lovely. I would be giving this hotel 5 stars, but we had issues with the hotel management concerning our stay. We decided to stay an extra day in Sitges and hoped to push back our reservation by one day, but they refused. They initially blamed it on Hotels.com saying they couldn't alter the reservation, but this was not actually true. After severa days of back and forth between us and hotels.com (who were extremely helpful) the Onix Fira decided they would not refund us the day we weren't there for. Honestly, this also would have been fine were it not for the run around, miscommunication, and outright mistruths from the management staff regarding our changes. Along with the fact that when we did arrive a day later. expecting our room to be ready since we had paid for check-in the day before, a maid was in our room providing a last minute clean and we still found the room to be dirty.

The property is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was ok. Value for money - not in my case but I guess I booked it when the demand was high, over a thousand pound for four nights. You can get it cheaper if book early. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. That’s a big thing for me. Some of the guests in adjacent room noisy and inconsiderate! Overall it’s a good option if you can get it for less.

I have stayed many times at this hotel before the refurbishment. The rooms now are not very practical. The lighting is poor, no light in the bathroom shower or at the sink, just one bulb in the ceiling. A huge circular very bright light in the bedroom shines direclty at you if you sit on the bed! Some clealiness issues with what looked like pieces of biscuit on the floor in several places. The new.design of the room is made to look "boutique" with the open hangers and no wardrobe or drawers! I won't be going back.

Booked this for Champions Rd of 16 with Benfica in mid March. Hotel is very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast option was worth the price. If traveling in by air, the train to the Placa Espanya was very easy. The mall is nice with many food options, although a little touristy. Great stay, thanks so much to the staff!!!

Hotel bien situé par rapport à la gare, et transports en commun y compris navette pour l'aéroport. Un point négatif, les portes des chambres qui se referment bruyamment. Le bruit quand les lits sont déplacés par le service de nettoyage, carrelage dans chambres.

Very unprofessional staff at the front desk during the day. They were more concerned about gossiping and talking with each other instead of servicing customers. The room was good, recently renovated but the soundproofing was nonexistent. I could hear every time someone moved in another room, and the rustling that came early in the morning woke me up every morning. Overall, the whole hotel operation was a huge mess. The only positive thing was the young guy working during the night shift who was very professional and helpful.

The counter staff were really sweet and allowed us to check in earlier as our room was available. There are many food options around the hotel and especially in the mall. Would definitely come back to stay here.

Overall had a great stay at the Onix Fira. The room was pretty well sized, but a little lacking on storage. The pool was small but a perfect retreat for us and our 4 year old and rarely crowded. The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful. The orange lighting in the hallways was a little weird but you get used to it. The breakfast was decent, but you could easily save the 14 Euros and hit a pastisseria nearby. Location is great for convenience to the airport, but a little further out for some of the sights. But this was fine since we'd been to Barcelona several times and the metros are lovely. I would be giving this hotel 5 stars, but we had issues with the hotel management concerning our stay. We decided to stay an extra day in Sitges and hoped to push back our reservation by one day, but they refused. They initially blamed it on Hotels.com saying they couldn't alter the reservation, but this was not actually true. After severa days of back and forth between us and hotels.com (who were extremely helpful) the Onix Fira decided they would not refund us the day we weren't there for. Honestly, this also would have been fine were it not for the run around, miscommunication, and outright mistruths from the management staff regarding our changes. Along with the fact that when we did arrive a day later. expecting our room to be ready since we had paid for check-in the day before, a maid was in our room providing a last minute clean and we still found the room to be dirty.

Booked this for Champions Rd of 16 with Benfica in mid March. Hotel is very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast option was worth the price. If traveling in by air, the train to the Placa Espanya was very easy. The mall is nice with many food options, although a little touristy. Great stay, thanks so much to the staff!!!

The property is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was ok. Value for money - not in my case but I guess I booked it when the demand was high, over a thousand pound for four nights. You can get it cheaper if book early. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. That’s a big thing for me. Some of the guests in adjacent room noisy and inconsiderate! Overall it’s a good option if you can get it for less.

Newly refurbished room was excellent. Good size, all basic amenities covered other than a kettle. Hotel was still being refurbished, so no restaurant for breakfast but this was reflected in the price and well communicated up front. Really lovely staff on reception throughout my stay.

Eu buscava uma localização próxima ao estádio olímpico e o hotel foi uma ótima escolha . Próximo a praça da Espanha , com metrô acessível para diversas regiões da cidade , inclusive para Mont Serrat. Loved my stay here! Only one night in between landing in Barcelona and taking the train north. It was the perfect quiet, clean, friendly and fashionable place to shed a little jet lag. The hotel was good. Missed the mark on an few things. Top cover was just a sheet and lots of construction going on. The pool area was messy with trash. The pool was well taken care of though. Business area close to the mall and the subway. Nice to get around the rest of the city.

I’ve stayed here before because I like the location. Some frustrations with temperature control; elevator function and dangerous slippery marble floors that easily get wet in bathroom because of shower. I slammed my head against bathroom door.
