Estaban todas las plazas de parking exteriores ocupadas, con lo que no pude parar a dejar la maleta. Por lo demás la habitaciones están muy bien (almohada top), aunque se echa de menos que cambien las bañeras por platos de ducha.

Hotel con buenas instalaciones. Es un hotel de negocios ubicado en la zona Nueva de Gijón, se necesita coche si se quiere visitar los puntos clave de la ciudad. El personal se merece un 10,siempre atentos. Destacaría la excepcional atención que Ernesto (restaurante) dispensó a mi madre. Todo estupendo pero hay un gran "pero". No veo justo con las limpiadoras el que no haya bolsas en las papeleras de las habitaciones (incluido el baño). No veo éticamente correcto hacerlas lavar las papeleras por ahorrarse el coste de las bolsas (las hay biodegradables si el motivo es el medio ambiente).

Marriott should really ask themselves if this is up to scratch. We visited as there were laundry facilities for guests. This is not correct. They have the put it in the plastic bag and wait an extra day at a large cost for them to bring your laundry back. They blamed Expedia for the stuff up. No one wants to spend nights in this area unless they really have to. On a busy noisy road opposite a servo and car yards. Asked for dining options we were directed to a sandwich shop 2 blocks away. Back to the hotel where a can of mussels and potato crisps turned out to an expensive tapas experience.

Todo bien hasta que fui a hacer la maleta y estaba llena de hormigas. Me fijé y estaban por toda la pared. Me dicen que suelen fumigar, pero que vuelven y “se enteran cuando lo dice algún huésped”. Creo que deberían tener un control exhaustivo diario si saben que son propensos a ello y no que alguien se encuentre algo tan desagradable.

El Hotel está muy bien, mi puntuación tan baja es por la gestión del hotel. Fuimos en temporada baja, el hotel no estaba lleno pero estaban alojados un grupo de estudiantes en nuestra misma planta quienes a la 1:30 a.m no paraban de hacer ruido por los pasillos. No pudimos conciliar el sueño en toda la noche. No entiendo como no pusieron a todos los estudiantes en una misma planta y a los pocos huéspedes que estabamos ocupando el hotel en otra planta.

El Hotel está muy bien, mi puntuación tan baja es por la gestión del hotel. Fuimos en temporada baja, el hotel no estaba lleno pero estaban alojados un grupo de estudiantes en nuestra misma planta quienes a la 1:30 a.m no paraban de hacer ruido por los pasillos. No pudimos conciliar el sueño en toda la noche. No entiendo como no pusieron a todos los estudiantes en una misma planta y a los pocos huéspedes que estabamos ocupando el hotel en otra planta.

L'Hotel non era proprio in centro però ben servito da autobus. Noi abbiamo sempre camminato per raggiungere il centro città, con una passeggiata di mezz'ora si arriva a destinazione. Colazioni ottime

The hotel was great. Spacious room with super friendly staff. The dining options at the restaurant were great, and the waiter was super friendly too. You can skip the breakfast buffet.

Marriott should really ask themselves if this is up to scratch. We visited as there were laundry facilities for guests. This is not correct. They have the put it in the plastic bag and wait an extra day at a large cost for them to bring your laundry back. They blamed Expedia for the stuff up. No one wants to spend nights in this area unless they really have to. On a busy noisy road opposite a servo and car yards. Asked for dining options we were directed to a sandwich shop 2 blocks away. Back to the hotel where a can of mussels and potato crisps turned out to an expensive tapas experience.

Had a wonderful stay at AC Hotel Gijón by Marriott. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city, and the staff provided outstanding service from start to finish. Everything was comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. Highly recommended!
