1. I was surprised and a little unhappy, upon giving my room number for breakfast buffet, that I was motioned to an area of the dining room lacking windows, and instructed that “this is the space available to you”. There were plenty of tables available in the brighter part of the dining room. I was not aware of different treatment for guests based, apparently, upon their room choice. The instruction was not misunderstood by me. 2. Upon leaving at checkout our group was instructed to have a seat and wait while an employee went to our rooms to check to see if there were damages or items stolen. I asked the desk manager why they were checking. His reply was “I don’t know.” I offered to him that to many westerners staying at a very nice and princely hotel, having to sit and wait to see if you had damaged or stolen anything would often be taken as insulting and accusatory. The price of my dislike for that implication was much higher than the value of a bath towel, had I taken one. And I hadn’t. Had I broken or damaged something, I would have brought to the hotel’s attention when it happened. I did not like waiting, while my integrity was verified. Probably won’t be back. A cultural thing I suspect. Otherwise, pretty nice place.

The room is clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel was closed to everything. Everything was in walking distance from hotel.

Absolutely everything about this hotel was perfect. Perfect location, staff was the best I have had in Asia, would definitely stay here again upon return to Siem Reap.

The staff was so incredibly hospitable and the amenities were great. The rooms are a good size and clean, but also the location is phenomenal. Lastly, the breakfast has a good mix of western style and traditional, so there is a little bit of everything for everyone.

Room was maybe the most spacious hotel room I’ve ever had. So clean, so new looking. Very well designed. The whole hotel is so well decorated. The way everything like restaurants, spa , and pool were all on 5th floor made it so easy to get to them. Elevator was always fast , staff was always helpful. I can’t imagine picking a different hotel when I come back in future. The location made so walkable to old quarters , or mall, or pub street. Just a shirt 20-30 minute drive to Ankor wat. Perfect location. I can only imagine how amazing it will be once mall is complete. I hope this hotel doesn’t change, it was a 5 star stay. 5 star breakfast with 5 star staff. Reminded me of the staff at Shangri La . So helpful , so kind, never had to ask. The spa I wish I would use everyday . Can’t go wrong here .
