Spent two nights here January 2024. Immediately booked another stay for next week. Room with pool view was beautiful and very clean. Bed was very comfortable with soft sheets and just the right amount of pillows. Spa was amazing, it’s like a Roman bathhouse, women and men are separate. Staff were extremely kind and service was exceptional. My wife had a massage and had her nails done, she absolutely loved our time there. This is definitely my spot in Siem Reap and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Wonderful hotel! Very comfortable room. The pool was quite large, very clean and deep enough to do some laps. The spa was a bit dated but excellent service. Gym great - lots of equipment. The breakfast buffet was good - plenty of options. We only wish the a la carte menu - for pool side had more local Cambodian food choices.

Our group had four rooms for a week in December 2024. The hotel accommodated our requests for 1- or 2-beds depending on the room which was great. The beds were very comfortable, and with A/C and black-out curtains, everyone slept very well. The hotel was well staffed and the level of service was good. Breakfast was great, lots of options to try. One request would be to make hand sanitizer more accessible at the breakfast buffet. (No one in our group got sick, just a general recommendation for buffets). The gym facility is beautiful. The spa and hot/cold tubs were a great amenity. Poolside service was nice to have, but a bit slow, and impossible to get a strong cocktail! The location was good because you could walk to a couple cafes or small grocery, or grab a $1-2 tuktuk to the busier areas. Airport transfer provided by the hotel was seamless and so appreciated after 20 hours of travel! Overall, we were looking for a comfortable reliable hotel with amenities and great service on a budget, and this one totally came through for us.

The staff is exceptional. The hotel is beautiful. The pool area requires better attention as some days there weren’t enough chairs for guests. Also, the pool area requires attention as it is a concrete area without much Cambodian beauty. Be careful and take a flashlight to the gym if you’re an early riser. No lite pathway. We would stay at the hotel again.

We arrived early and were given a room ahead of time. We were greeted by the Manager and another staff member explained the hotel. The staff within the hotel were respectful, courteous and extremely helpful. Amenities such as pool, sauna, steam rooms, cold plunge and hot pools and gym we used were heat! An enjoyable experience that we highly recommend and would return to.

I have traveled the world and this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. It has many interesting architectural features but Its beauty comes from the woodworking. It has a forest of hardwood. Hardwood floors, solid hardwood chairs and doors, hardwood cornices, hardwood wainscoting in the halls, hardwood on the elevator both inside and out. but by far the most striking feature is the hardwood circular stairway. It is a work of art. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, a very nice large pool, and excellent landscaping.

The property looked nice in the pictures. However, it is quite old and outdated inside, especially the rooms. I paid a higher rate than my friends who booked through a travel agent, and yet I was given a very basic room compared to the others. Our Cambodian friend also booked on her own through another website paid the lowest price amongst us and yet was given the best room on the top floor of the hotel! The dining room staff were very nice and pleasant! Otherwise. It was not a very enjoyable experience!!

I had arrived at the Angkor Borei Hotel for a short stay before starting at a local yoga retreat. One of the reasons I booked the hotel was to have access to the entertainment they advertised outdoors with dinner. However, I was advised that it was booked for a private event and I could not attend. The room balcony is not useable. There were so may bugs and insects, in the hundreds, rendering it unusable. I thought this may be a local issue and did not make a complaint of it. However, stays in subsequent hotels in Siem Reap made me realise it was just this hotel. Others treat the balconies with repellants or incense which keep the insects away. Worst of all, I was checked into a room which was next to an air conditioning generator. It got so loud at night, that I woke up to the noise (like being next to an airplane) and changed rooms in the middle of the night just to be able to sleep.

We were looking for a luxurious hotel and this was perfect! When we arrived and had our first look at the lobby with its beautiful ponds and live music playing, we were excited. Our rooms did not disapoint either. We stayed in a Landmark Double room and both the view and the clawfoot tub were terrific! The breakfast was absolutely incredible with endless Western and Khmer options. And the pool was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. All the staff made us feel so welcome! Thank you!

We had one of the best experiences at any resort. Andy greeted us with a smile. They arranged for airport transfer for the hotel and upon arrival we got greeted with a cold towel and some tea to refresh. They had us sit down while they checked us in and they explained everything in detail. They added some free perks to our 3 day stay. Gave us recommendations to local cuisine and activities. Asked about our plans and offered to arrange transport, tour guides and anything we may need. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of choices. Fruit. Vegetables. Local delicacies. Egg station. Noodle station. Rooms were spacious with AC. Gym had enough equipment, treadmills and machines to get a nice workout. Boombox to play your Bluetooth. We had lunch and cocktail on different days and everyone is attentive and genuinely check on you to make sure you are enjoying yourself. We decided to get a massage and it was relaxing and therapeutic at the same time. Kudos to everyone, and specially Andy who set the tone to a great experience while in Cambodia. We definitely will come back to enjoy the resort in the future.

We had a four-day, three-night stay here for my wife and I mid-Feb 2024 and it was amazing, truly amazing. Everything was 5-star and the service was impeccable. The airline lost our luggage on arrival but the team here were making calls all the time and eventually located it and delivered it to our room. Wonderful, wonderful friendly and smiley people, amazing room, one of the best breakfast line-ups ever, a great pool and just one of the best 'feeling' hotels you could wish for. I had an incredible four-night stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. I have never stayed in a hotel where every single staff member was kind, friendly, and as helpful as these team members were. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. Also, the room was absolutely beautiful and had everything I needed. I loved the fish pond in the lobby and had to visit them every time I walked by! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. As a solo traveler, I never felt out of place or looked at funny like what often happens. Instead, I was treated like I was part of their family. It was hard to leave! Thank you to the entire team at Borei Angkor Resort for your hospitality during my Cambodian Adventure!

Hotel was nice Staff are lovely The food and drinks are so overpriced for Cambodia. Cambodia sell themselves as a cheap country to visit. But this hotel takes the biscuit. $30-$40 for a plate of food. While outside the gates of the hotel, Delious food for $2 a plate. And better in my opinion. I got a pick up as part of my booking via hotel.com and all was fine, when I ask for the drop back to the airport, I was informed that there is a charge of $40 this wasn’t explained of hotels.com or from the hotel on arrival. Bit of a con really in my opinion. Pub street food all around that area is very expensive also. Tuk tuks are $2 a trip everywhere local. Took a Tuk Tuk to the Angkor Wat and was so cheap compared to hotel. Overall stay was just about ok Regards Keith

The Borei Angkor Resort & Spa is the epitome of luxury without pretension. The staff is exquitly professional and exceedingly kind. The property is gorgeous and conveniently located. There is no finer breakfast buffet in all of SE Asia. When coming to visit Angkor Wat, the Borei Angkor Resort & Spa has to be at the top of the places to stay.
