The Embassy Angkor Resort & Spa

We loved this hotel! We stayed for five nights in one of their rooms with a private pool. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the best bed of our whole trip (soft mattress and medium firm pillows!). Their restaurant had great food, we enjoyed two massages, and the staff was beyond lovely! The location was great because it was just outside the busy part of town and the hotel offered transportation into town and the airport. We felt very safe and had the best time!

We stayed in a room with a private pool. The room was huge, with a soaking tub big enough or two people. The toilet was in a separate private cubicle, and the shower room was very spacious. The pool was deep enough to cover me to shoulder height (I’m 5’3”), and had a ledge at one end for sitting. What it didn’t have was any steps or a hand rail to assist you getting in and out. I have fed that back to the management team directly, but if you are less able to bend, kneel or get up from the floor then bare that in mind if a private pool appeals. The main pool did have both steps and handrail. The bed was very comfortable, and the aircon was efficient. The staff are all lovely. Genuinely friendly people who want to help you have a great time. The free transport to the town centre totally negates the slightly out of the way location of the property - you get all the fun without the nighttime disturbance.
