Det er en lidt gammeldags stil over hotellet, men på en meget hyggelig måde alligevel. Det ligger meget praktisk tæt på byen. Der er en stor parkeringsplads bagved hotellet, som desværre er lidt for dyr.

Meget god placering. Helt fine værelser til prisen, men lidt outdated badeværelse. Lækkert med to dobbeltsenge, når man er af sted to voksne og to børn. Gode senge. Morgenmad var gennemsnitlig. Fitness-rummet var virkelig fint, det skal de have ros for.

Room was unpleasantly warm despite the radiator being turned off. Hotel parking lot is quite small. Don't pay for more than than the first night if you stay longer, as you may not be able to find a parking space on the following nights and you'll end up paying double when you give up and park in a public parking lot.

Location is excellent and close to everything. Parking on facility is limited. We reached midnight so the parking was full. Staff was kind enough to help us find a public parking. Condition of the rooms is OK. It’s old (but I personally like it). Staff were very helpful. The only note is that the cleaning of the room is not well done. The carpet for example was not vacuumed for 2 days even though had some dirt since day 1.

Alt i alt et fint hotel. Værelserne er ikke så store, der er ingen spejle udover et lille et på badeværelset. Badeværelset er så lille at man nærmest skulle bakke ind. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke noget overdådigt. Parkering var svært, ingen p-pladser i nærheden.

Manglede glas etc. på værelset og oplevede at personale blev irriteret da vi bad om glas. Værelset blev heller ikke klargjort imellem overnatningerne. Morgenmaden var desværre meget kedelig. Der var bl.a.. ikke musli el. alm. yoghurt. Da er morgenmads buffeten noget mere interessant på Hotel Hvide hus.

Det var et fint nok værelse og havde et god ophold. Men første indtryk blev forstyrret noget af at værelset lugtede meget kraftig af herreparfume formentlig fra sidste gæst. Derudover virkede det også til badeværelset havde skimmel mellem fliserne flere steder, især omkring bad. Lidt ærgerligt der ikke er styr på disse to ting.

Our TV did not work properly, often the image was like a puzzle and the remote control only worked sometimes... I was surprised that no cleaning was done unless we specifically put the sign on the door to 'Please clean'. I would expect from a 4* hotel that cleaning was done, unless I asked them not to do it. I had not found the sign in the bottom of the wardrobe, so had put no sign outside and no bed was done, no towels changed during our 3 days' stay. Much noise from the main street, as we had to keep our window open during the night due to the heat.

Badeværelserne kunne godt trænge til en kærlig hånd. Der er ingen reel brusekabine, men bare et forhæng der skiller bruser fra toilet og vask. Ingen bordplads. Afløbet var næsten helt stoppet, og da der i gulvet heller ikke var noget der skilte brusepladsen fra resten af rummet var der hurtigt vand på hele badeværelset, og ingen skraber til at tørre gulves af med efter. Ellers er hotellet fin stand, alderen taget i betragtning

This hotel clearly has a problem with heating. I´ve stayed there 4 times over the past month (January/February), and so far I´ve only stayed in one room that had sufficient heating. Most window and terrasse-doors allow for cold air to enter simply because the arent installed properly. The building and rooms are old and generally needs to be renovated. On the other hand, the rooms are in average 20-25% cheaper than other hotels in the city. Staff members are always very helpfull and the hotel is right in the center of the city.

The room window lighting blinder was broken. I asked the reciption to change my room. He downgraded into a less pleasant room after 10 min of “searching”. According to him everything is fully booked but I can see while searching in hotels.com there is still available rooms for the same dates. Thus not happy.

I was staying with friends as part of the Aalborg Karneval. The team were really helpful from prior to arrival with pre-arrival messages and updates. During our stay the team were all really helpful and welcoming. We booked a twin room and it was with comfortable clean rooms, with ensuite and toiletries included and hairdryer in the bathroom. The public areas were nice and kept tidy and clean, considering it was Karneval weekend it was great. Breakfast was nice with a great selection and good tea and coffee, and juice. There is complimentary tea, coffee and water in the reception area. The location to the city centre and location attractions is fantastic and if highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel with friendly and welcoming staff.

Phoenix er et fint hotel med superb beliggenhed. Når der er fuld belægning er morgenmadsrestauranten ret forfærdelig, ellers er vi glade for hotellet. Vi vælger det altid, når vi er i Aalborg.

Phoenix er et fint hotel med superb beliggenhed. Når der er fuld belægning er morgenmadsrestauranten ret forfærdelig, ellers er vi glade for hotellet. Vi vælger det altid, når vi er i Aalborg.

Værelset er flot og har en god størrelse, for mig er en af de vigtigste ting, når man vågner og skal ned og spise morgenmad, men det er dog noget af det mest kedelige morgenmad jeg længe har oplevet. Smagsløst, osten var tør, udvalget ringe. Jeg drikker ikke kaffe eller te, så et godt glas juice, men de har slet ikke juice, de har frugtdrik.

Stod at der var tebirkes og croissant i buffeten. Vi var der en 1,12 min før den lukkede og der var ingen af delene og ville ikke lave nogle flere….. lidt træls når jeg havde lovet min søn dette som en del af oplevelsen. Så skal man i så fald sige at, hvis I vil have dette skal I komme ned når vi åbner.

Hotelværelset din. God service i reception. Meget dårlig oplevelse morgenmads mæssigt. Ikke nok borde, lang kø til kaffemaskine og juice, samt der var hurtigt tomt ved morgenmads produkter.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to both the train station and to the museum Kunsten which was the reason of my going to Aalborg. The night staff was So accomodating when I arrived at 10 pm after a rather delayed train ride from Copenhagen. I needed something real to eat and the night staff directed to a grocery store nearby where I went to get a salad and something to drink - while I was away, the very nice guy had brought my luggage to my room on the 5th floor bc he could tell I was TIRED - thank you!

Nearby everything with good parking. Overall ok hotel and worth the cheap price. Air condition and a fridge st the room should be standard on all hotels, but unfortunatly not on this hotel.
