In total not what I would call a bad experience. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was very good, and the fitness room actually has enough equipment for a serious workout. I was a little disappointed by my room, however. It was very small, and there were no shelves or drawers for storing one's things. Just some hangers on an unenclosed rack and a few pegs on the wall. The desk was a small dropleaf table on the wall, the bedside tables were tiny, and for some reason, the TV had only Scandinavian channels -- none in English or other major international languages, which I would have found very unsatisfactory if I had been a guest from outside the region. So kind of a mixed bag. Once I had gotten used to the situation, I enjoyed my 3-night stay, but I'm not sure I'd stay there again at that price point.

Hotel ist an sich schön ausgestattet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2. OG mit Blick in die Lobby des Hotels. Es war dadurch ganztägig dunkel und wenn man im Hotelzimmer war hat man automatisch die Vorhänge geschlossen, da man sonst für alle anderen Hotelgäste komplett sichtbar war. Das Frühstück war lecker und vielfältig. Die angrenzende Tiefgarage war extrem eng (Extrem!!!), da war wirklich Millimeterarbeit notwendig und viel rangieren. Dazu war es extrem teuer.

The hotel is easily accessible and centrally located. You can easily reach the harbor and many sights on foot. The breakfast was ok and quite extensive. The room was very narrow and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast room was very limited and crowded. The parking garage was extremely narrow and very uncomfortable. Extremely difficult for normal cars, almost impossible to solve for large cars.

Great hotel! The breakfast is way better than expected. The location is phenomenal, only 5-8 minute walk to National theater station where you can catch the train straight to the airport (30 min ride/approx $15-$20). The gym is decent… unfortunately the sauna was not working. The room was nice and spacious. Overall, awesome stay!

Very hard to find any positives :-( ‘Superior’ room was far from superior. Barely enough space to walk around the bed. Body wash & hand wash were empty and of course you only discover this when you are in the shower. After requesting a refill at reception, 4 hours later, neither had been refilled. No telephone in room, so had to go to reception (7 floors down) in pyjamas to request again! Room super hot & heating controls had no effect and then we found out (by talking to reception) that the controls do not work and temperature changes in room need to be made by them! We asked for the tempers to be lowered & they said they would, but had a very hot, hot restless night. Left window open, but super noisy. Only positive was breakfast… I would not recommend

Hyggelig personale, god service. Frokosten var god. Rommet var lite, støv på bilder etc. glemt å rydde balkong, så der lå det en pose med tomflasker. Lite bad, som gjorde at det sprutet vann fra dusjen på dopapiret, som gjorde det bløtt, for deretter å tørke og gjøre det hardt. Småting, men hvis man er litt nøyere er det med på å dra ned helhetsinntrykket. Enkeltrom med en liten seng, og lite boltreplass, men det kan vel ikke forventes noe mer.

Beliggenheten til hotellet er superb. Fikk dessverre ikke plass i parkeringsanlegget og frokosten var kanskje litt sprekere sist gang vi bodde der men absolutt bra likevel. Merker at hotellet ikke lenger er helt nytt med alt fungerer fint og er rent.

Spurte om det var et fint rom ved innsjekk, fikk ja til svar. Men vi fikk et bittelite rom med vindu som ikke kunne åpnes og utsikt inn i hotellet. Knøttlite bad uten oppbevaring med andre sitt hår i sluket i dusjen. Ekkelt! Dårlig renhold! Kommer aldri tilbake!

Nice hotel, to a quiet but also not lonely neighbourhood, slowl busy in the morning which good if you are a tourist. VERY very nice plaza in front of it, with a characteristic sculpture, seen from far away. Clean room, but they did not change towels the e days we stayed there. Also there was a funny smell at the floor corridors, giving the wrong impression about cleaning. For 2 adults and 2 children what was unconfortable was the space. No space left to have outlet suitcases and dress up because the rrom was fool with the beds. We could not open the fridge properly (only after moving the beds away). The staff was very very good, and friendly att the reception and the breakfast lounge, where we had very very good breakfast.

The location was close to few landmarks. However the hotel air conditioning was not working. It was advertised they have A/C but it was centralized therefore no control unit inside the room. No welcome amenities (bring your slippers!) in the bathroom—Very basic!

I had basically a windowless room (internal facing window that does not open). So if it matters to you double check when you are checking in that you have a window. Staff are super nice and I get the hotel was too full to switch but yikes.

The room was fine for one night. While the photos at the time of booking were representative of the room we chose and were given, be aware that the “family rooms” could be rather cramped. They are really just double rooms where, once made up, the sofa bed eats into most of the available space, such that there is only a narrow path along which to move through the room. There was a faint foul smell from the drains in the bathroom. Had this been worse or we had been staying more than a night, we would have mentioned this to the staff during our stay but we found it bearable for one night. The staff were friendly at check in and the ability to leave luggage in a secure room after checkout while made sightseeing much easier and more comfortable.

The accessible room was totally inadequate. We had to move furniture to even get in the bedroom. The ramp to the bathroom was ridiculous and the doorways were small with too high thresholds. The room was hot with no windows and no air flow.

You can't regulate in-room heat yourself, but have to constantly call reception for any adjustments. Very inconvenient and bothersome. Had to switch rooms twice because first 2 roomshad no bathroom heating.

Utrolig skuffet - betalte 300kr ekstra for superior rom. Bildene viser badekar og store rom. Fikk absolutt ikke er superior rom. Da jeg tok kontakt med resepsjonist sa at at jeg måtte sende en kommentar til hotellet på forhånd for å få badekar. What? Skal jeg sende en kommentar til Rema 1000 for å benytte meg av et tilbud også? Frekk resepsjonist, skal aldri tilbake her.

We stayed 3 nights and overall it was ok. On Saturday night there was a lot of noise coming from a bar/club outside the hotel. The breakfast room was very overcrowded and they were not refilling what was empty; the choice of food was good early in the morning but not for us.

Bra rum för pengarna. Väldigt bra läge. Däremot kan vi inte rekommendera ett besök i restaurangen. Maten var OK. Däremot är det på gränsen till katastrof att stänga köket långt innan angiven tid utan att säga till. Där rök den dessert vi sett fram emot. Servitrisen bad inte ens om ursäkt.

The only issue encountered was that the hot breakfast was cold every day. When i requested if it could be warmed, they replied there was no microwave. Nothing could be done so I decided to only eat cold food. 😔

We stayed 3 nights and overall it was ok. On Saturday night there was a lot of noise coming from a bar/club outside the hotel. The breakfast room was very overcrowded and they were not refilling what was empty; the choice of food was good early in the morning but not for us.

This hotel was in a great location close to bars/restaurants. The staff were friendly let us check in early (2hrs). The breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean with friendly staff. We stayed in a superior room, the room had no fridge, no safe and very little clothes storage, this let the room down a little. The coffee and tea in the room was never replenished during our stay. The breakfast was excellent ( one of the best selections i have ever had in a hotel).

När vi kom tillbaka till hotellet och såg ifram emot att äta i restaurangen, var det något evenemang så det blev inget mat för oss. Frukosten fick vi stå och vänta på plats i säkert en kvart, det var kaos. Parkeringen i huset var undermålig, och rabattkortet fungerade inte för oss.

One word: WOW! Clean, great location, very friendly welcome when checked in (thank you ABDI for top customer service and customer appreciation!) Breakfast was wonderful and plenty! We would like to say a special thank you to Marcos and leave a great shoutout to ANGELA and AMALIE! We have traveled around the world and can truly say that these ladies are in it for the right reasons. They love serving their customers. Being greeted with such a great, genuine smile in the morning and seeing them work so hard to satisfy their (not always friendly or appreciative) customers only deserves one verdict: PERFECT - A+++! We hope that they will be in the loop for the next promotion. Thank you Scandic St. Olavs Plass!
