Very friendly staff at this central hotel. Whilst the property is older, it remains comfortable and is kept clean, and improvements are under way. Water pressure could be better, for showers, and the hot arrive faster; but otherwise no criticisms. The half board option represents good value for money.

El hotel está ubicado muy céntrico, se puede recorrer Aveiro sin necesidad de transporte. Hay un parking concertado cerca por 10 euros al día. La habitación era muy vieja con camas ruidosas y bañera alta, no había enchufes cerca de la cama. La terraza para desayunar tiene unas vistas muy buenas.

The good things - room was big, a/c worked really well and it’s a few minutes walk to the canals and old town. You’ll see from the photos it is incredibly dated, doesn’t feel like anything has changed for 40 years. But that’s clear so you either accept that or not. I chose to accept that because of the roof terrace. Turns out that’s closed, being worked on but the hotel don’t tell you that. I chose a room at the back, I knew that wouldn’t have a view and that was ok for one night. But again the hotel don’t warn you there is work going on so there are men literally walking past your window and naturally making noise from 8am. And that sums up the worst of this place, the staff treat you like you’re an inconvenience. Customer service is non existence. I’d seen it on other reviews but assumed maybe a one off, maybe people don’t try and speak Portuguese. But it’s so odd, no matter what you do you can’t even get a smile let alone a hello. Never experienced anything like that.

La habitación es un poco antigua. Pero tiene un fuerte olor a cerrado que te impide respirar. Abstenerse alérgicos y asmáticos. Tuvimos que dormir con el balcón totalmente abierto toda la noche en octubre y lloviendo. Y aún así olía mucho.

La chambre était spacieuse, mais glaciale. Les 2 fauteuils étaient dénoncés, le lit pour 2 etait trop petit ( 140) la clim réversible devant chauffer était très aléatoire, le ménage loin d'être impeccable, en marchant pieds nus sur le lino, on avait les pueds noirs... Seul bon point, cet hôtel est très bien situé et le personnel du restaurant est très aimable.

It was nice. We had a suite with a balcony. The air conditioning didn’t work in the sitting area of our suite, nice hotel but feels a little run down old. They were nice opening our wine and helpful at the front desk. Our room key had to be reprogrammed twice (irritating). We asked for a late check out because I woke up with food poisoning but was denied. Overall the hotel was fine for an overnight stay, but would probably try somewhere else next time.

The room was okay but today with all mobiles and other devices that needs to be charged I want to poiint out that there is only one charging point in the room and that is in a rather difficlt spot. Moreover the shower, and the pipes in general, should perhaps be renewed (water someties brownish ). The telephone does not work ( perhaps not needed ). Also this was not the room I booked but that does not matter, it was only two nights.

This is an old hotel. The walls are thin and you can hear through them. It is a bit worn here and there. The beds are not ultra comfortable. But it is clean and the staff is wonderful. It is safe and convenient to the heart of the city. If you want modern and ultra comfort this is not for you. If you want a clean room for a really good price in a very convenient location this is it.

Delvis ned-/losslitt hotell med utdatert informasjon på rommene, sur betjening i restauranten. Frokostbuffeen blir ikke fylt opp den siste halvtimen og all maten blir kald fordi strømmen koples av lenge før. Finn et annet sted å bo i Aveiro, der finnes flere, trivelige etablissementer for innkvartering. Aveiro er dog en flott by som det er verdt å oppleve!

Great location, close to everything, I walked everywhere including to the train station every day to do day trips. It's right next to a lovely museum and restaurants everywhere. Lovely small town. Hotel was cool, old school, staff lovely and helpful and speak English. Horacio at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I stayed for 6 nights and I will gladly stay here again if ever I'm back in Aveiro 😁

Great location, close to everything, I walked everywhere including to the train station every day to do day trips. It's right next to a lovely museum and restaurants everywhere. Lovely small town. Hotel was cool, old school, staff lovely and helpful and speak English. Horacio at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I stayed for 6 nights and I will gladly stay here again if ever I'm back in Aveiro 😁

Great location, close to everything, I walked everywhere including to the train station every day to do day trips. It's right next to a lovely museum and restaurants everywhere. Lovely small town. Hotel was cool, old school, staff lovely and helpful and speak English. Horacio at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I stayed for 6 nights and I will gladly stay here again if ever I'm back in Aveiro 😁

Har set sine bedre dage, slidt og både toilet og bruser fungerer dårligt. Temmelig lydt, kan høre hvad der fungerer ved siden ovenpå og endda overfor?. Personalet er meget venlige og søde, det er bare tilstanden der ikke er ok. Morgenmaden : æg og kaffe var ok, resten var forholdsvis usundt, juice og yoghurt var “kunstigt”, croissant for meget sukker og for mange kager

Love staying in this hotel..Feel very comfortable here. The restaurant menu and service is excellent. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but this did not spoil my stay here. Like the new restaurant where I had breakfast . The evening restaurant remanded me of an Alpine Hotel in Switzerland whre i have happy memories

Un hotel con un mobiliario muy antiguo, camas duras y, lo peor de todo, sin almohadas. Lo más parecido son los cojines que hay en los armarios. Además, no hay ningún enchufe al lado de la cama y, de los 3 que había en la habitación, 2 no funcionaban y la luz iba y venía. El desayuno poco variado, en la comida y la cena no hay variedad, siempre ponen lo mismo y el postre no está incluido en la media pensión ¿Esto es un hotel de 3 estrellas? ¿De verdad? Pero lo peor de todo es que hay unas obras justo enfrente que empiezan a hacer mucho ruido desde muy temprano. Te pongan en la habitación que te pongan, se escucha bastante. Cabe destacar que estas obras durarán hasta mediados de 2023. Lo único positivo es la amabilidad del personal y la ubicación, en el centro de la ciudad.
