There was continual traffic noise from nearby streets all night long, while not objectionable, I expected better noise insulation. Otherwise our stay was comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of parking within sight of the hotel & lobby, which is nice when you are traveling on motorcycles.

Loved the bathtub it had handles to hold on to. Very easy. Good location near different places to eat within walking distance. There was an indoor pool but the water was cold. The breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes and the waffles cereal muffins ... coffee, juice etc. Very clean and safe place.

Staff especially Charles were very welcoming and hospitable. Front entrance under construction making it hard to pull up and unload on check in. Overall the new hotel is so much nicer and cleaner than the old hotel!

My stay wasn't bad. My floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was no toilet tissue when i arrived, the tub didn't have a drain stopper and the fridge didn't work. I wish the pool was heated but in the summer it might be refreshing because it's so cold. However, the staff was very kind.

Paying too much money to be using soiled towels, and had to go to desk for clean towels. Terrible policy to squeeze down labor and linen expense under the guise of "save the planet." If you stay here, get room on front of hotel as traffic noise is extreme on back of building.

Good place to stay in Norton. Room cleaned every other day. Not sure if they were low on TP but I had to get it from desk since housekeeping rarely left enough for 4 people. Not sure you’ll find a better place around town.

Property is being renovated but mostly complete. Only issue I had is that this is on the corner and at a stop light. My room happened to be at that corner so every car that made any noise I could hear. Was not too bad but a note when getting a room which side of the hotel you want to be on.

Popped in on an overnight to visit family in Norton, and the staff was excellent. I was actually in school when this hotel was being constructed, so it was nice to come back and see it full circle. The room I was in had some minor cosmetic issues, but for a hotel that's as affordable as this that gives you access to the surrounding mountains, etc., you can't go wrong, really.

There wasn't anything about this property that we did not like. Cindy, was very helpful when we called ahead and told her we were going to be late arriving. She made the check in process very easy and pleasant. The dining area was always kept clean and the food was hot, tasty, and available. The breakfast was always well stocked. I am a coffee drinker and there was always good hot coffee available! We will certainly stay here again.

The man that checked us in was great! He couldn't have been more helpful! He suggested the Wood Booger Grill for dinner and we went, it was great! He gave us towels to wipe our e-bikes off when we brought them in, it rained the whole way here. Keep up the good work!

Charles Shelley and Wesley White, employees of Hampton Inn were absolutely the BEST in helpfulness. Hotel.com screwed up the online reservation and failed to process the payment to Hampton Inn Norton, VA, thus delaying and confusing our check-in. However, thank goodness for Charles Shelley doing backflips, and my husband texting Hotels.com, and after four hours, the situation was resolved. We will stay with Hampton Inn Norton again; however, we will NEVER use Hotel.com again. Thank you, Hotel.com, for screwing up a good portion of our trip. Your service stinks!

The atmosphere was incredibly warm and authentic, with everyone exuding friendliness without any hint of insincerity. From the front desk to housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast staff, and the general manager, all were approachable and eager to assist. Nice hotel, bathroom was very clean and room was also clean. Breakfast was fine--Hampton always has good waffles! The sausage patties looked like they had been defrosted and put straight into the warming tray. They were almost white in color.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a girls weekend there and they gave us ideas of other places to go see. The breakfast switched out and they were working on upgrades but everything was kept clean and neat. Definitely would go back. Cute town too with walling options to eat
