The hotel is nice, not five star but decent. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to see and eat. The beds are comfortable and the pool was nice but cold. Breakfast was decent with hot and cold options. It is conveniently located near several of the towns.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The room smelled so musty and moldy we could not stand it. We went to the store and bought air freshener and opened the window even though it had no screen because the smell was so bad. We could not turn on the AC because it smelled so bad we could not breath. When I complained to the front desk all they said back was "OK". The phone did not work, the fire pit in the courtyard did not work, and the smell and uncleanliness was unbearable. It's really a shame because if not for this smell and lack of staff caring the hotel would be fine. I would never recommend or stay here myself and am glad I got out without getting sick from the mold that was obviously everywhere.

This hotel smelled like mildew. There was also mold on the ceiling in the shower (looked like there was no vent) and our phone was plugged in but didn’t work. We had a courtyard facing room and there was a birthday party at the pool 7-10pm with at least 15 kids and all their parents. The party had loud music so we called the front desk from our cell to see how long the party would be - they said it should end soon and they’d ask the partygoers to turn it down but… there was no difference in noise. We didn’t ask to be moved but were kind of hoping they’d offer that to us and they didn’t. We overpaid for our stay for the musselman in Geneva only because we didn’t have any other options, so it served its purpose but would not recommend if you have other choices.

The room was pretty outdated and the carpet was sticky in numerous spots. The canvas artwork on the wall actually had a few holes in it. Found a random flip flop under our bed when looking for a lost sock.

It was dirty in the room. The bathroom was dirty - I wore flip flops in the shower. It didn't look like the bathroom was mopped and stuff was under the sink. Windows were filthy. When I went to check out, all staff was outside on a smoke break so I waited, then gave up and left my keys on the check out counter. The check in person Saturday was very nice, but the only good thing about the hotel.

Pros: Price was decent for the hotel, safe area, relatively quiet, relatively clean, easy parking. Con: We had a lot of gnats in our room, pillow was stained, walls are thin; can hear people in hallway and doors slamming; furniture and condition of hotel could use updating. No fan in bathroom; no screen on window so you can’t air the room without risk of insects flying in. Overall: Price is good for the location. Other hotels at the same price point are in worse condition unfortunately.

The room was amazing! It had everything you would need. We upgraded to the suite because we had another couple staying there as well and we needed a room big enough for the four of us to hang out. The room had a couch and a table with four chairs, so there was plenty of room. There was also a microwave, small refrigerator and a bar area. The shower was amazing!! The bed was very comfortable. All around this was a great hotel and that says a lot from me because I am a hotel snob! In fact, we already booked our stay for next year.

I expected more, to be honest. Plenty of rooms available and they put another couple in a room beside us, so it could have been quieter. Shower leaked all over no matter what you did. Toilet looked like it could clog any day now. Bed was comfy, and the local photos on the bedroom walls were a nice touch. Breakfast room was very pleasant and the lady taking care of it as well. Nice options, just lacked some fruit.

Was woke up at 5am by people slamming doors. Really wish we would’ve known we were going to be close to a landfill. The smell was terrible and we could smell it all night. Staff was great at check in.

First, I was disappointed to find that the pool was closed and there was no prior communication regarding its closure. We had to sit in our rooms because there was no other place available. Moreover, our group was disturbed by a call from the front desk, followed shortly by a staff member knocking on our door. We were informed that there was a noise complaint from our room, and the staff member rudely told us that they could hear us in the hall.To clarify, we had booked three rooms, and we were all adults in our mid to late 50s, simply having conversation. The following morning, we sought to speak with a manager about the incident, but the front desk agent informed us that there was no manager on duty as he was out on sick leave and they were unsure of his return. To our surprise, the same staff member from the previous night came out and identified herself as the supervisor. She offered no apology for the inconvenience and continued to speak with us in a dismissive manner. We felt completely disrespected and humiliated. To make matters worse, I emailed the General Manager, Victor Nelson, two days ago, and I still haven't received a response. This lack of courtesy from higher management only mirrors the attitude of the line staff. As professionals in the hospitality industry, we understand the importance of high service standards. The treatment we received, however, made us feel unwelcome and even discriminated against.We will never stay here again. HORRIBLE SERVICE."

Front desk staff lovely and accommodating. Housekeeping staff as well. Our room the fan didn’t work in bathroom and some small Things needed fixing, but very clean. The hot tub is gone but didn’t say so on site, which was disappointing to my daughter who uses it for her back pain, but wasn’t the end of the world lol. Close to Seneca falls and Geneva all wineries and breweries within 40 mins off both lakes. One thing to be mindful of which is NOT the hotels fault is the landfill next door. Can be smelly but you aren’t hanging outside the hotel much.

I would say here again. There were a couple of problems that would NOT prevent me from staying here, but that should be addressed by management. The hot water was somewhere between nonexistent and inconsistent. The first night there was water that was barely body temperature. I mentioned it to the staff. The second night the water was tepid. The water was never hot. The breakfast buffet had good options, but was not monitored adequately. So food ran out and it was several minutes before it was replenished.

The interior of the hotel was wonderful (except for the “coffee” - I’m not sure you could really even call it coffee, it was very unpleasant tasting). And although I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, it does require a staff person to pick up after the inconsiderate guests who don’t clean up after their pet (not me). The exterior of the hotel needs a good trash pickup as well. However, the staff were extremely friendly and professional- we really enjoyed our stay!

We were greeted with a very friendly and helpful person upon arrival and the room and facilities were clean and well kept. The disaster happened when we went to have what promised to be an excellant breakfast. Everything looked great. BUT everything, including the scrambled eggs, the sausage links, the waffles, and even the coffee and "hot" water were so COLD, everything was inedible, completely INEDIBLE! What a way to RUIN a wonderful stay. I would not stay there again unless I was guaranteed that my eggs and waffle were going to be hot....

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful! The room was ok, nothing special, but acceptable. The breakfast was the worst of our 8 night whirlwind thru the midwest and back. Make the breakfast better and the whole experience would be better and would even recommend it as a decent option.

It’s so unusual to have a restaurant at the hotel and we had excellent food and service there! Friendly staff throughout! The place is older and some areas in need of repair but an excellent choice for the money.
