This hotel is not ready to receive guests: its brand new and the staff has no idea how to provide good service. The villas are spectacular but they are far from the hotel, from the parking, from the pool so you need the cart service, which it may take 15-20minutes on average. Food is average at best, room service needed to call 3 times and it took 90 minutes. And to top it, no water on sunday morning when we needed to shower and check out…and btw, never an apology. Avoid it until they get some trained staff and figure out the transportation.

Really great venue. Amazing pools. Excellent food and staff. We had a real snafu at check in but the hotel went out if it’s way to make it up to me. I’ll definitely come back.

Hola la verdad encontré varios puntos que no me gustaron para la calidad de Banyan Tree 1.- subí a cenar y nos encontramos con un menú con muy poca variedad y lo más frustrante es que de los 13 platillos entre entradas , ensaladas y platos fuertes resulta que no tenía ingredientes para preparar por lo menos 4 y decidí irme a cenar fuera del hotel 2.-en la habitación no contaban con pantuflas y las tuve que pedir 3.-cuando regresamos la cortesía ya estaba hecha y bastante agradable con una esencia muy bien la habitación pero no dejaron toallas limpias y por lo menos 4 después de que ya habíamos usado las 2 que nos dejaron 4.-también tomamos unas cervezas en la tarde antes de irnos a cenar y tampoco se llevaron las botellas y el recipiente donde nos la llevaron 5.- fuimos en la mañana a las albercas generales y el lugar es realmente espectacular pero no hay forma de meterse al agua ya que estaba helada y sin duda para la marca Banyan Tree es algo ir no debería de suceder porque perdió todo el encanto 6.- por otro lado tanto en la alberca de la habitación todo muy bien con la temperatura y en las albercas generales ,la calidad de las toallas deja mucho que desear muy rasposas y todos los perímetros de la mismas muy desgastadas como si tuvieran 5 años 6.- también en las albercas generales el snack bar no tenía servicio y tuve que pedir al bar principal La propiedad es espectacular peor para un hotel de esta categoría sin duda no pueden pasar todos estos contratiempos

The property is nice but the concept is poorly executed. They recently opened so they are getting some leeway for that in my review, but the customer service experience and staff is average, considering this is by far one of the more expensive hotels in the Valle area. For example, I raised some of my concerns with the hotel directly following my stay, and someone from their team reached out to apologize and offer a weekend stay for free so that I could give them another try. However the coupon never arrived and after reaching back out to them to follow up they simply stopped responding. During the stay, some of the issues were: many hotels areas and room amenities were in maintenance and couldn’t be used, including the common pool area. The rooms were not serviced even after specifically asking for it. Breakfast could have been better considering price. We and other guests had to light the common area fireplace (and maintain it) because the staff couldn’t figure out how. And others.

What isn’t there to love about Banyan Tree Veya?! It’s a stunning property with all the amenities one needs for a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special shoutout to Esteban, who simply goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well cared for. Another shoutout to Leticia from the spa for a wonderful experience. All dining options are a must, as is the Pictograma and Atalaya experience. This is by far our favorite hotel in VDG and we look forward to our next stay!!

Mal, reserve con la idea utilizar sus hidromasaje y reservación de masajes Me registre me cobraron el deposito y luego me entero que no tiene agua para las instalaciones en todo el hotel’ solo, esto me molesto y me retire y exigí la devolución de mi dinero! No hay escuela es considerado un hotel caro de 12,000 pesos para que sucedan estas cosas!

El hotel es bonito pero no tienen estándar calidad de cadena Banyan Tree ni en atención, instalaciones, servicios ni spa. Nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación porque en la asignada había todavía “evidencia” de huéspedes anteriores por falta de limpieza, no salía agua caliente en habitación. En la nueva habitación asignada todos los días reportábamos fallas en aire acondicionado y nunca lograron que funcionara

Pésima estancia, el primer día a las 8 de la mañana empezaron a dar martillazos en el techo de mi habitación, las 10 no había agua caliente… me ofrecieron cambio de habitación, cuando fui a ver la otra habitación, había un raton dentro de la habitación…. Con ganas de nunca volver !!!

El hotel está muy bonito. Los cuartos excelentes. Pero nos tocó mala suerte porque el aire acondicionado no servía, y hacía mucho calor. Igualmente no funcionaba el refrigerador del cuarto, y a pesar de reportarlos a dos veces no los arreglaron. El cuarto muy bonito

Una experiencia inolvidable definitivamente el mejor lugar para visitar Valle de Guadalupe,la propiedad se encuentra estratégicamente ubicada adonde se puede tener unas vistas espectaculares del valle habitaciones divinas, atención del personal excelente, la alberca hermosa, comida muy buena buen vino y buen si tragos, espero poder regresar pronto

Stayed here with dear friends to celebrate our birthdays and all 6 of us were blown away by the beauty of it All! Even though it rained the the entire time it never deterred us from enjoying everthing the valle has to offer. The staff here are so kind and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous and delux and the entire grounds are spectacular! Highly recommend and we will all be back to enjoy it in the warmer months ahead! 😀

Todo el personal con la mejor actitud, lo más amable y servicial. Fuimos de parejas, pero llevaría a mi hijo. Me encantó la experiencia del restaurant amapola. miguel nos ayudó en todo momento en todo, Diego nos aguantó el trote en el bar. Nos encantó, 100% recomendable, volveremos pronto. La propiedad está preciosa y el cuarto también.

The property is nice but the concept is poorly executed. They recently opened so they are getting some leeway for that in my review, but the customer service experience and staff is average, considering this is by far one of the more expensive hotels in the Valle area. For example, I raised some of my concerns with the hotel directly following my stay, and someone from their team reached out to apologize and offer a weekend stay for free so that I could give them another try. However the coupon never arrived and after reaching back out to them to follow up they simply stopped responding. During the stay, some of the issues were: many hotels areas and room amenities were in maintenance and couldn’t be used, including the common pool area. The rooms were not serviced even after specifically asking for it. Breakfast could have been better considering price. We and other guests had to light the common area fireplace (and maintain it) because the staff couldn’t figure out how. And others.

What isn’t there to love about Banyan Tree Veya?! It’s a stunning property with all the amenities one needs for a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special shoutout to Esteban, who simply goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well cared for. Another shoutout to Leticia from the spa for a wonderful experience. All dining options are a must, as is the Pictograma and Atalaya experience. This is by far our favorite hotel in VDG and we look forward to our next stay!!

In reality, the service and facilities are more in line with a three-star hotel. We paid $600 for one night in a villa that, upon arrival, did not have a functioning door lock. I reported the issue and was told it had been fixed. However, when I returned to the villa, the lock was still not working. I spent nearly an hour on the phone asking to be moved to another villa, which was eventually arranged. Overall, the service was basic, and the staff lacked the training you would expect from a hotel in this category. Despite expressing my concerns, there was little interest or accountability from the team, and no manager ever came forward to address the situation. I would not recommend this hotel, especially considering the price point and the expectations that come with a five-star rating.

This hotel is not ready to receive guests: its brand new and the staff has no idea how to provide good service. The villas are spectacular but they are far from the hotel, from the parking, from the pool so you need the cart service, which it may take 15-20minutes on average. Food is average at best, room service needed to call 3 times and it took 90 minutes. And to top it, no water on sunday morning when we needed to shower and check out…and btw, never an apology. Avoid it until they get some trained staff and figure out the transportation.

Hola la verdad encontré varios puntos que no me gustaron para la calidad de Banyan Tree 1.- subí a cenar y nos encontramos con un menú con muy poca variedad y lo más frustrante es que de los 13 platillos entre entradas , ensaladas y platos fuertes resulta que no tenía ingredientes para preparar por lo menos 4 y decidí irme a cenar fuera del hotel 2.-en la habitación no contaban con pantuflas y las tuve que pedir 3.-cuando regresamos la cortesía ya estaba hecha y bastante agradable con una esencia muy bien la habitación pero no dejaron toallas limpias y por lo menos 4 después de que ya habíamos usado las 2 que nos dejaron 4.-también tomamos unas cervezas en la tarde antes de irnos a cenar y tampoco se llevaron las botellas y el recipiente donde nos la llevaron 5.- fuimos en la mañana a las albercas generales y el lugar es realmente espectacular pero no hay forma de meterse al agua ya que estaba helada y sin duda para la marca Banyan Tree es algo ir no debería de suceder porque perdió todo el encanto 6.- por otro lado tanto en la alberca de la habitación todo muy bien con la temperatura y en las albercas generales ,la calidad de las toallas deja mucho que desear muy rasposas y todos los perímetros de la mismas muy desgastadas como si tuvieran 5 años 6.- también en las albercas generales el snack bar no tenía servicio y tuve que pedir al bar principal La propiedad es espectacular peor para un hotel de esta categoría sin duda no pueden pasar todos estos contratiempos

Whether it was from the food or brushing teeth with their water we will never know. We were still both still feeling so unwell on Saturday afternoon we had to cancel a very special dinner we had planned, incurring a $200 cancellation fee. In older, more customer service oriented times, I would have thought the hotel might have tried to make some sort of amends for this unfortunate incident but as it was, there was no gesture made to try and make up for a ruined weekend. We live in San Diego and love visiting the valley but Banyan Tree is now off our list and comes with a warning about the food should our friends ask us where we’d recommend.

Bastante pequeña es el área… está “bien” … hablando de la habitación… el colchón es terrible … muy duro(amanecí con dolor horrible de espalda) y las almohadas dan un poquito de asco… lo terrible fué que ya que nos íbamos a dormir… encontramos una mancha amarillenta en las sábanas… (10:30 de la noche) a esa hora fueron a cambiarlas porque la verdad que asco… después nos dijeron que era de un “químico” … no importa de quien o de que … simplemente la impresión y la percepción no fue buena… cabe mencionar que no tuvimos alguna cortesía de parte de la propiedad por este incidente… al gerente le falta un poquito de “mundo”… … el desayuno lo puedes pedir a tu habitación después de las 12:00 (pero como habíamos tenido esa mala experiencia… nos hicieron el favor… Desde la reservación hay que pedir que la alberca de tu habitación esté caliente … porque tarda en calentarse, salvo esas cosas está “ bien el lugar” Ah!! La vinícola y el jardín botánico nos tocaron cerrados… creo que se abren a partir del miércoles… tiene spots padres “para foto”😜
Al hacer el check in te ofrecen una copa de vino pero la traen ya servida … por lo que no te enteras que vino es … la propiedad en general es linda… la alberca es un carril de nado….
