Check out time at 10. Wish it were 11. Bathtub was small, not like other hotels that have a larger soaking bath. No laundry facilities, unlike many hotels in Japan. Bed a little to firm for me.

Clean Rooms, Super Friendly Staff, House Keeping was fantastic 3 Options (Do not Disturb, Trash & Towels Only, or Complete Clean) Exercise Room equipment was clean, functional & available for use. Three secure elevators that require a room key & will only let you off on the floor for that key.

Excellent front service.very professionally handled and treated from the first day to the last. Staff are all very polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only concern would be the restaurants in the building:very high cost.

Very nice and clean hotel. Easy check-in. Got in early and they held our bags for us until we could check-in. Nice staff. Answered all questions and provided everything we needed. Small exercise room on 6F where you can grab extra towels, refill water, and grab toiletries. FamilyMart right outside the hotel. Area surrounding has lots of shopping, food and drinks. About an 7-9 minute walk from Kichijoji Station. Room could have been a little bigger. It does take about 20-30 minutes to Shibuya/Shinjuku area from the hotel.

夜着いたのですが、いかにもホテルという感じでエントランスからして素敵でした。ホテルの方もホテルマンらしい感じで、非日常感があって良かったです。バスタブの掃除がやや不足しているような感じで、お湯を張って浸かる気にはなりませんでした。あと給水ポットの中に髪の毛が入ってました。でもそんなもんだろうと思います。そんなこともあろうかと、使用前に洗って使う予定でした。不潔な感じはしませんでした。六階のアクティブルーム？という名のついたスペースで、追加のタオルや冷たいお水、炭酸水などをサービスでいただけて、快適でした。お部屋に用意されていたコーヒーも、入れたら美味しかったです。立地も繁華街に近くて便利だし、お部屋代も手頃だったので、また機会があったら利用させていただきたいです。ありがとうございました。

We had a great stay here—the location is fantastic, we love Kichijoji! Check in was smooth, breakfast was delicious, and our child loved the bunk bed (excellent room size and layout overall). Only issue was the hallway had a mild cigarette smell (and the room too, just a little), but it wasn’t an issue in the lobby and wasn’t bad enough to impact the stay.

5月20日から１泊507号室でお世話になりました。お掃除が行き届いていない点意外は申し分ないよいホテルでした。お掃除はもう少し隅々までしてもらえたらと思います。わざわざフロントに連絡してルームチェンジを依頼するほどではなかったので自分で掃除しましたがバスダブに10センチほどのストレートな黒髪が5本も落ちていたので嫌でした。あとデスク横のケトルが置いてあるサイドテーブルにコーヒーのこぼし跡のような汚れがあり、拭いといて欲しいとは思いましたがケトルをつかわなかったのでそのままにしておきました。落ちる汚れかどうか確かめていませんが、あれはきれいにしといて欲しい箇所でした。ほかは間取りも狭いなりに工夫されていてバスルームから部屋の中のテレビを見ることができるのが便利でよかったです。照明も、冷蔵庫もエアコンも快適で掃除だけ東急グループの名に恥じぬようしてもらえたら星5つつけたいレベルでした。ありがとうございました。吉祥寺に泊まる際はまた利用したいと思います。

I never thought I would find a property renovation negative. However, the nice bathroom upgrades actually took away room space. My room had no drawer space for clothes and minimal hanging space. I normally stay here for a week or longer so not being able to put away clothes or store suitcases really was not optimal. I still really like the location, cleanliness and staff but I will now consider other properties on my next trip

I stayed in two rooms in this hotel -- one a moderate twin and one a premium twin. Both were comfortable and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. The premium room was updated with separate toilet/shower rooms and more modern decor while the moderate was not. My one complaint was that in the premium room, the lights in the entranceway, sink area, and toilet area automatically turned on when you walked nearby. Once they even turned on when my husband was in bed with his legs extended near the bottom. This may not be a problem for everyone but for those with insomnia (like me), lights flashing on in the middle of the night when anyone uses the bathroom, it's a major deterrent to sleep. We called hotel staff to the room & while they clearly wanted to be helpful, they said there was no way to disable this feature. My husband and I had to get creative to find a way for us to be able to sleep. Otherwise, as I said above, the hotel was good - a comfy bed, hot shower with good pressure, working aircon and wifi, lovely staff, and a tasty breakfast.

Very nice and reasonably priced. Worked well for us. Caution for folks traveling with small children or who have trouble sleeping - the rooms overlooking the restaurant area can pick up a lot of noise from below. Mattresses and pillows were very comfy, and breakfast buffet was excellent. Short walk to the station and plenty of shopping options.

This is the first time that we stayed at this hotel. We usually stay at the tokyu REI hotel in front of the kichijoji station. This hotel has more space in room, lobby and restaurant and comfortable. However it is a little walk from thr kichijoji station. We like both tokyu hotels. They are professional

Great staff despite our inability to communicate in Japanese. Front desk even helped us to track down a package that we had sent from Amazon. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service. I took a star off for room cleanliness as there was a used popsicle stick left on the headboard of our bed by the previous guest. The rest of the room was immaculate.

We booked the hotel for two adults and one 7 year old child, but the room did not have enough towels, pillows, cups, etc for the third person. When I inquired about this at the front desk, I was first told to get extra towels at the gym. Then, when I later asked about pillows and cups, I was surprised when the front desk personnel accused me of only paying for two people, and that there should be an extra charge for any child of elementary school age. I showed him my Hotels.com reservation information in the app, and he finally agreed not to charge us extra and would follow up on his own end, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. The extra pillows never arrived, and the extra cups and towels arrived the next day.

My HQ is in Mitaka, and I always choose the Kichijoji Excel Tokyu when available. The dining options are great on property but you also have many great dining and shopping options within a 10 min walk. Convenient to the train station as well. The staff is on point and the hotel is super clean and safe. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but they are comfortable and clean. I travel for business and pleasure more than 60 nights a year and its everything I look for in a hotel.

Alles bestens allerdings,als Tourist , wenn man in Mitte des geschehen sein möchtet , es ist etwas außerhalb aber ein sehr gutes und sichere Umgehung. Shinjuko erreicht man in etwas 30 - 35 Minuten mit umsteigen. Nicht desto trotz ist das Hotel für ein 3 Sterne , einfach fantastisch und zu empfehlen.

吉祥寺駅から徒歩5分ショッピングやご飯には不自由しません。少し歩けば井の頭公園もあり環境はバッチリです。ホテルは静かで落ち着いていて朝食も美味しく、個人的には都心のホテルより気に入りました。また利用したいです。

Had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. Biggest negative for us was we could not have our family of 3 in a single room and had to split a 2nd room with another family of 3 in our group. Daily breakfast was great, lots of options for both a Western palette or those wanting something more authentic to Japan. My biggest complaint would be the runny eggs but you can get an omelette cooked on demand. Several coffee options (very small cups though) and the kids loved the ice cream. Always fresh fruit, yogurt and a variety of bread/baking. Never ate lunch or dinner there. Multiple coffee shops on the first floor. Walkable to many dining options and to the bus (we were there for sports)
