Even with the abundance of travellers checking in at the same time, they had tons of bilingual staff at the ready to help. The rooms are the same at every APA hotel I have stayed at and even though they are usually small, we had almost everything we needed.

staff are friendly and helpful and laundry are convenient.

Clean hotel. Great amenities. Pub in the lobby was great.

The hotel is in a residential/commercial area that has a few restaurants but nothing great nearby. The subway station is on the same block so it's convenient but you have to switch to bigger lines to get anywhere. No nightlife, quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff are just clerks - you basically check yourself in. They don't know the neighborhood for recommendations. The room was spacious and comfortable by any standard esp. for Japan. Beds were good, shower room was wonderful and we got towels whenever we asked for them. Breakfast was a good selection of Japanese and western foods. Very satisfied with the hotel but there was nothing of note around it.

Rooms are extremely small and feels catastrophic.
