Prime location, few steps from AlHaram. Excellent breakfast. Some rooms are outdated and need renovation. The elevators are a problem specially at prayer time, although they just added more elevators.

This was my third time staying in this hotel. The hotel needs some work, specially the elevators. The elevators are very slow and one time it opened before reaching the floor. Overall, the hotel is close to Haram and clean.

Parking arrangement and lots are very much poor, tight, dirty and messy. Room was quiet fair, although it was obviously certain cleanliness and damage over around the room as well the building overall. Staff were either not competent or randomly performing.

Overall the hotel is great but they are under construction so if you plan to stay here forget that you will ever get any sleep during the day starting at 5am because they construction noise will never let you sleep. The renovation won’t end for another year. Goodluck!!!!

We arrived into Madinah on a Friday so we expected the place to be very bust for Friday prayers, We were early for check in so understandably we had to wait. The hotel itself was like a fish market, too many people around waiting and the lifts were constantly in use making it hard for our family to get to the concierge and the reception as we had a small child in a pram. Nevertheless we were allocated a room after an hour of waiting in which we prayed Friday prayers, our room was on the fourth floor, when we entered it looked clean on first inspection. However looking more closely we started to find marks on the skirting boards and doors and felt that the room had been rushed to clean and no attention was given to doors and windows etc. The room had a dusty feel to it and as we travelled 5 hours by car from Makkah, we just wanted to rest up. We had 2 small kids and they started to feel unwell, i contacted the housekeeping team and explained that the room was not clean to a standard but they didn't seem to be interested in our concern. Luckily the location is super close to everything you need, food, restaurants and shops, so i had to go and buy disinfectant and sprayed every surface of the room and athroom as we were not satisfied with the overall cleanliness and didn't want to risk our kids health, we did ask for some more carrier bags and bin liners from the hotel as our child was sick, but again they didnt seem interested.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The hotel is so clean, on multiple occasions I had spotted staff members cleaning the elevator floor entrance. Every staff member that saw you would greet you, check if you needed anything. Our waking hours were all over the place, but any request we’d make at any hour (housekeeping, more water, toiletries etc) they were all responded to almost immediately. Once after breakfast, I had asked the reception for water, by the time I got upstairs, the bottles were there. The hotel has dates and tea in the lobby as soon as you enter. The location is so good, it’s on the north side of the mosque, you can enter the haram within seconds of leaving the hotel. We added breakfast as part of our reservation, best decision I’ve ever made. The hotel deserves 5 stars for the omelette alone. The food selection is very very big. The rooms were very clean. We booked a room with 2 twin beds even though we wanted a king (last minute booking), we put the beds together ourselves, we didn’t bother asking the staff, but the next time we stepped out, the hotel staff put the beds together properly including king sized sheets. This was very thoughtful and it makes you feel like you’re taken care of. Another note is we booked the hotel and went to check in 3 minutes later. And somehow, the rooms were ready for us. I was so impressed by this alone. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful

Overall ok but cleanliness is not good at all. They gave me an 'upgraded' room but I soon realized it was a room in a dark corner of the hotel and it was smelly and dusty. Bathroom sink area was very unclean, the whole place had a damp and dusty feel to it. Not great for the price they charge, much better to find another hotel at these rates.

The hotel is located yards away from the Masjid which is incredible. The staff and service were good. Good selection of food options (breakfast and dinner) as we went for half board. However, the property is in a bad state and cleanliness was very poor. During our 2nd night the whole curtains railing fell down, however this was promptly fixed. Basic amenities like shower gel and lotions were empty, towels limited, floors creaking and housekeeping looked like they just did up the bed. Very busy and noisy hotel.

Nice sized bathroom but the bedroom was extremely cramped. Also the duvet was far too warm and pillows excessively large. Didn't get even 1 night of good sleep. Toilet flush didn't work and half the time poops were floating around. Ewwww. Towel rail and toilet seat was lose. Toilet seat was not even soft close. Lobby didn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Staff are very helpful and accommodating but didn't bother raising all these issues. Food was excellent. 5 star food but physical hotel itself was more like a 20 year old 3 or 4 star. Some finishings and furniture were quite worn out and old looking.

The building is so cramped, from the size of the elevators to the dining area to the rooms. Everything is so compact making it feel like you can’t relax and rejuvenate. The buffets are pretty good. The staff is very kind and friendly and helpful. Barely any sunlight in the rooms

The biggest strength of this hotel is unquestionably the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. Special thanks to Anas, who set a very high standard of guest service. He welcomed us with genuine care, managed all the check-in procedures smoothly, and ensured we were completely satisfied. While waiting for the rooms to be ready, he thoughtfully arranged complimentary drinks at the restaurant, which reflected true five-star hospitality. At the restaurant, Abdul Kareem was exceptionally kind and attentive. Another highlight was Lujain at reception, who was the icing on the cake — extremely welcoming, warm, and informative. Special thanks also to Mohammed Altoudi, who was extremely professional and efficient during the checkout process. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with comfortable beds that allowed us to rest well. The location is excellent. A few points for improvement: the bathrooms felt slightly worn out, a and the room service, as is often the case in Makkah and Madinah hotels, was below the expected five-star standard. Additionally, the ladies’ prayer room would benefit from more privacy or better isolation from the main entrance, to enhance comfort and serenity.

Hotel does not react to emails/whatsapp/phone calls. Tried at least 10 times, no reply at all ! Booked a Executive club room but the club was closed. At any point were we notified about this prior to our arrival but we did pay for it. To compensate we received a voucher for a free drink with very limited choice. Could not choose sparkling water for example. Rooms are outdated and need urgent refurbishing. Mold in the sink, sockets do not work, dirty carpet, noisy airco, windows do not open….we were put next to a room where construction was going on. The smell of paint and tarnish was awful ! Wrote an email to the head of quality guest experience and strategic development…..guess what….no reply again ! This is my worst experience with Accor ever ! Not at all the standards of a Sofitel and definitely NOT a 5 star hotel ! Avoid this hotel if you can…..
Hotel does not react to emails/whatsapp/phone calls. Tried at least 10 times, no reply at all ! Booked a Executive club room but the club was closed. At any point were we notified about this prior to our arrival but we did pay for it. To compensate we received a voucher for a free drink with very limited choice. Could not choose sparkling water for example. Rooms are outdated and need urgent refurbishing. Mold in the sink, sockets do not work, dirty carpet, noisy airco, windows do not open….we were put next to a room where construction was going on. The smell of paint and tarnish was awful ! Wrote an email to the head of quality guest experience and strategic development…..guess what….no reply again ! This is my worst experience with Accor ever ! Not at all the standards of a Sofitel and definitely NOT a 5 star hotel ! Avoid this hotel if you can…..

We arrived 4 hours before check in and we were given a room within a few mins with no fuss. Room was a suite - perfect for our family of 4. Room had everything we needed, free complimentary minibar which was refuelled daily. Room service and cleaning was on point and the reception staff whenever required fulfilled all requests. Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of selection and amazing views of the mosque of the prophet from one side. Location is the best thing - literally on the courtyard of the mosque with amenities and shops available in all directions. Would I reccomend? 1000% would i stay again? 1000000% !!!

I writing this review while waiting for ice more than 1 hour! When I call the room service he told me hotel is full Did i mentioned they tried to scam me with 2 invoices from the official restaurant? I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The hotel is so clean, on multiple occasions I had spotted staff members cleaning the elevator floor entrance. Every staff member that saw you would greet you, check if you needed anything. Our waking hours were all over the place, but any request we’d make at any hour (housekeeping, more water, toiletries etc) they were all responded to almost immediately. Once after breakfast, I had asked the reception for water, by the time I got upstairs, the bottles were there. The hotel has dates and tea in the lobby as soon as you enter. The location is so good, it’s on the north side of the mosque, you can enter the haram within seconds of leaving the hotel. We added breakfast as part of our reservation, best decision I’ve ever made. The hotel deserves 5 stars for the omelette alone. The food selection is very very big. The rooms were very clean. We booked a room with 2 twin beds even though we wanted a king (last minute booking), we put the beds together ourselves, we didn’t bother asking the staff, but the next time we stepped out, the hotel staff put the beds together properly including king sized sheets. This was very thoughtful and it makes you feel like you’re taken care of. Another note is we booked the hotel and went to check in 3 minutes later. And somehow, the rooms were ready for us. I was so impressed by this alone. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful

MOST IMPORTANTLY Despite paying alot of money - made to feel like 2nd class guest. We as a family of 3 members were treated like Royalty/ were given free upgraded room/ Originally booked and paid from 19th to 24th April 2025 due to change in umrah rules in Mecca we had to check out on 22nd April earlier So we could perform our umrah in Mecca as new legislation would not allow forus to be in mecca after the 28th April and we were approved by duty manager Mohammed for the 2 day's refund. The hotel management will go above customer Expectations to facilitate what they could. Will always Stay at this Fabulous Hotel. Seven Stars from us.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times now, and the biggest advantage continues to be the location. It’s only a few steps from Masjid Nabawi and very close to the women’s entrance, which makes everything so convenient, especially during busy hours. The rooms are clean, the staff is courteous, and overall the service feels warm. The breakfast team was especially kind and attentive. I forgot the name of the gentleman helping us every morning, but he genuinely made the experience better with how accommodating he was. The front desk staff was polite as well. Breakfast itself was good; it could be improved a little, but overall it was enjoyable. The one major issue I’ve had, both during this stay and my previous stay, is the AC in the room. It seems to stay on all day yet never actually cools the room. Maintenance did come and try to fix it, but unfortunately it still didn’t work properly. For the price I paid and the standard this hotel aims for, this is something that really needs to be addressed. Everything else was great, but the AC problem is the main reason I can’t give a higher rating until it’s resolved.

From start to finish everything went according to plan. Being busy in restaurant at breakfast time staff did their best to make sure that you got what you needed. Clean rooms. Jafar from room cleaning was very helpful. Breakfast was good plenty variety. Location of hotel brilliant.

Everything was beyond 10/10. All staff were friendly, helpful and very decent. Housekeeping, concierge and restaurant staff were always smiling and always keen to help. Check in and check out were very smooth thanks to the reception. Breakfast buffet had a variety of cuisines and food, everything was fresh, we didn’t try anything that we didn’t like. Proximity to the King Fahd gate and also ladies prayer entrance was very convenient. Also Taiba shopping center and a bunch of stores all around that makes the location perfect. Insha’Allah we would stay there again and again.

Excellent hotel right next to Haram (perfect center), we got the king suite for our family of 5 and loved every bit. We had half board, dinner options were excellent, breakfast was just ok but overall great hospitality and convenience. We’d love to stay there again.
