very peaceful and quiet. Lovely scenery beautiful surroundings. very disappointed with the pool temperature again.they really need to update their heating system and monitor it.many adults wouldn't go in and when you see 5-10 year old kids complaining it must be cold

Beautiful location, lovely rooms. From within the room you can often hear other doors closing and a lot of people traffic going to and from car park. But overall the perfect spot to stay, close to local towns, golf course and spa on site.

Stunning property with amazing views that surpassed our expectations. When we arrived we extended our stay immediately. The huge King sized bee is super comfortable and the pool is beautiful. We enjoyed our time in the Barossa and would recommend you stay at least 4 nights if you havent been before. Can't wait to return.

We found the rooms very clean and the staff very accommodating. We were dissatisfied with the noise level of other guests however that comes down to the design of the rooms. The view was definitely a lovely way to wake up and finish the day looking at. We were surprised with the state of the pool, water was clean but the tiles were grubby and uninviting to swim in, the pool looks great on the website but up close we were disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at the Novotel Barossa Valley. The views were great, overlooking the vineyards and hills, and the room was clean and spacious. They provided a portacot for our daughter, free of charge. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was slightly expensive but yummy. The pool was nice, however when we were there was overrun with bees. I am not sure if that is normal.

This property have activities around that you and your family can do if you don't want to go anywhere. You can take a massage session, go for a walk or go to the gym ( 24 hours ) or play chess, table tennis, tennis and jump in the heated pool with kids. When it comes to dinner time, you can dine in the restaurant there ( breakfast and lunch also ). Having said all that, I am a bit disappointed with the room. It is basic for a resort. There is no oven or a clothes dyer. Lastly, the staffs are very accommodating and friendly.

Was old and dirty - blood on towels, dirty old sock on bedroom carpet, cutlery and plates in drawer clearly just rinsed Asked for 2 extra bath towels and got a grilling about whether we had extra people staying there (there were 2 of us sharing a 2 bed apartment ) The shower hot water did not work Went to get a pizza for" pizza night" and they ran out at 7pm - was told - we sold all15 pizzas!!! Paid a lot of money in off season - not good! No proper locks on front door - door didn't close properly I could go on The place needs an upgrade

Lots of flies in the room, check in was very slow, restaurant staff wanted to charge me a separate fee for using credit card after I paid already (this was not explained to me prior and was not added to the first bill I paid). I won’t stay here again.

Never Book through Expedia. Booked Novatel through Expedia to pay on arrival. Booked Price $525 on internet but when paying was charged $753. Apparently Expedia is an American Site and the charge is converted to Australian Dollars. Very disappointed! Novatel accommodation was average. Room had smell when walking in and we noticed must people were keeping their front doors open to air it. Cleaning was very average. Not worth $753 for 2 nights.

We loved staying in this spacious room which was a little more than a standard hotel room as we had a mini fridge, coffee machine,toaster and basic kitchen stuff. It meant breakfast in the room was easy so we could get out quickly to explore Barossa each morning. The bed was super comfortable and the views from the room was stunning. The addition of free wine tasting was a bonus. Only tiny little negative was the room could do with a spring clean. Crumbs and dust in drawers from previous guest and what looked like blood on the sheer curtain. Otherwise we loved it and would definitely stay again

Ok if you want to be close to the golf course and prefer hotel service. Breakfast and coffee don't start till 7.30 so if you are an early riser, this isnt for you. Airconditioning in our room sucked every bit of moisture and left us hoarse in the morning, the shower didn't stay at head height and slipped down the rail, and furnishing are very basic. I understand being strata titled, unit/room owners are probably very difficult to get money out of for updates, but it is needed.

Love the location and views of the area from rooms and restaurant, and the staff were friendly. Room was clean and tidy but not very soundproof - could hear people walking past and guests in neighbouring rooms. Felt that our experience wasn’t worth what we paid given the property hasn’t had a refurbishment since we last visited about 8 years ago and price has doubled.

We had an excellent stay at the resort; everything was well managed, and the staff were very courteous. The swimming pool was great, and the rooms were comfortable. However, the TV lacked Netflix or YouTube, offering only free-to-air channels or the option to purchase movies. Superior king room. Very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view from the balcony. Well appointed with small kitchenette with plates, cutlery etc, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, toaster and microwave. Friendly efficient check in and the 11am checkout made for a relaxing start on our last day. It’s a bit out of town so you need a car. We’d be happy to stay here again.

Hotel is in a Great location and in the heart of the Barossa region. A few missing ammenities and poor service is what made me review as 4 star (almost 3 star) Hotel didn’t have a wine bottle opener that we could have on loan in the room - I mean really it had a kitchenette with everything else and being a wine region people are going to drink wine in the room. And most upsetting was the restaurant that couldn’t give us a table for dinner - despite visibly having half a dozen tables set up and available. People ate and left and they still refused to seat us because the ‘waitress would be overwhelmed’ in her section!!! Really!!! We sat there for 90mins eating bar bites and throughout this time they couldn’t find a table to seat 2 people. Staff need better training on how to manage their restaurant.

We loved the serenity. Unit was large and clean and had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Bed was comfortable and with only the birds making a noise we slept well. Perfect location for day tripping around the Barossa.

Property was well kept, beautiful surrounds and convenient to wineries. Such a peaceful location. Our stay was too short. Breakfast buffet surprised us by ending at 9.30 (not ideal after paying $80 at 9.10am). Front desk staff were lovely and very helpful.

Was here for work training … the staff here are amazing . Always trying their best to make everyone happy. The pizzas on pizza night was a let down, but the staff knew we were underwhelmed and tried their best to make it up. Pre made bases with average toppings fi not scream gourmet 😃There is no Uber so if I had of known I would have hired a car also to go freely into the nearest town. Again the highlight was the friendly staff .

It is an excellent property in most facets, the only hiccup we found even though the dining area and bar was stunning, the restaurant menu for dinner was a little confusing and not broad enough. Also need prices to be individual not the option of 2 or 3 course. That aside great stay.
