Birdsong, Kangaroo Valley

Property simply beautiful and so considered. Beds super comfortable, top spec amenities and beautiful natural light throughout. Location, interiors, styling, garden and grounds - all stunning. We are planning our next stay early next year, we loved it so much.

What a wonderful place this is. Not too far from Sydney in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley, it feels like miles away from the chaos of city life. Very relaxing, lots to do around the property and relatively close by (we did the three views track, Fitzroy Falls and Illawarra Fly). Firepit and stargazing at night, very well appointed kitchen, warm and cozy, tastefully furnished - could go on and on. We all didn’t want to leave, always the sign of a great holiday. Will love to come back some day!

The pool is amazing

The staff at KVE were very helpful and easy to deal with. The property was stunning and just as in the pictures. The location is quiet, peaceful and a reasonable drive from Sydney. The house was well-stocked and great for a group of adults.

We booked Birdsong for a family weekend away to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. The house was gorgeous and had stunning views of the escarpment. The interiors are beautifully styled, the beds are comfy with quality linen and the bathrooms stocked with Leif products and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. We loved sitting out on the deck by the pool during the day and then being inside beside the fireplace at night. It’s only a few minutes from the Main Street of KV but feels like you are worlds away. The road leading to the property passes various farms and don't be surprised if you have to stop on your drive in to make way for local traffic (cows & the occasional wombat!). The best part was finding such a stunning property that is also pet friendly so we were able to bring our well-behaved pooch. We loved our stay and look forward to returning again soon!
