Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a small stove, frig, and cookware. Housekeeping came in daily to clean up. The towels were clean and nice. They provided pool towels. The pool was clean. The tiki bar was nice and we had a shrimp po boy and cheeseburger and they were really good. The slaw was great. Service was great. We hope to return. Close to lots of activities and shopping. Everything was great. Free breakfast was nice and convenient.

The young girl working the counter kept calm and connected even there was like 10 people trying to check in at once! Good for her :) the only complaint I have is the debris floating in the pool and hot tub from the construction.

What a wonderful time. As one part of a girls trip i gotta say its just what we needed. Rooms were quaint and easy to access with plenty of space. The only one downside was the hot tub was out of service and the beds were a bit small. But over all this is a gem of a place to stay.

This location is walkable to everything! Beautiful pool & hot tub right on the water. Make sure to ask for the side by the pool. Top floor. Best view! We walked to many different restaraunts & gift shops. Hunter springs is walking distance. Minute walk. Crackers is next door. Live music, food, drinks Hotel lobby is beautiful! Rooms are basic. Clean & comfy! We really enjoyed our stay!! Oh & you can rent boats & kyaks from hotel as well!

Was here for a 2 night trip. Nice cozy little spot right on the water in Crystal River. Rooms were very tidy and clean. Breakfast bag was a bit of a joke, but I never count on any hotel breakfast to actually be good. There’s a coffee shop in the lobby that has limited offerings, but probably better breakfast choices there. My only 2 complains were the hot tub wasn’t working and perhaps it was due to it being right after the 4th, there was a lot of guests hanging around later than I would have liked, so it felt a bit like party central. Know there’s a lot of people towing their boats as the boat ramp was just at the end of our building, lots of sand in the parking lot and standing water from all the boat traffic. Probably could have been avoided by being in a building that’s not right by the boat ramp. But all in all, a nice clean hotel and probably the nicest place you can stay in

I have never left a bad review for a hotel until now, but this was beyond unacceptable. The room was not clean, the carpet stained and dirty, a moldy smell in the room , even a blood stain bedspread. The bed itself creaked and rattled more than I’ve ever slept on. To top it off, the bathroom was disgusting, with a dirty toilet, and the seat left up upon arrival.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a very short walk from our room to Kings Bay. There were also kayak rentals on sight which was nice. The pool was heated and there was a hot tub as well. Different areas of the property and clearly going through construction or remodeling, and you can tell a new company is working on making it nicer. My single biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the room. The shower was disgusting with dirt and hairs. It was clear that no one even cleaned the shower walls. The shower and toilet room was very tight to move around in. No bathroom fan and some janky remodeling work. The room had its own mini split AC which was nice. Clean the room properly and I’d give the property 4 stars. Due to the condition, I’d say 2 stars.

This property was amazingly nice and clean. The housekeeping kept the rooms very clean and well stocked with hygiene items, towels, and coffee supplies. Everything is within walking distance from the pool, tiki bar for drinks, restaurants and gift shops. Also the beds were very comfy. I would definitely come back to visit again.

While the staff was very nice and informative, the furniture was tired and the room had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets with sand and dirty washcloths in the shower. Floors were sticky. We didn't discover this until late as we were not back from our family until eleven PM. I am sorry to leave this review and it is offered in a constructive way.

Pool and hot tub were closed most of our stay. Our room was dirty. The floors made our feet black . Pretty gross . Booked a suit and got this room with two beds and a pull out couch. Asked for sheets and blanket and didn’t get them. Paid extra to check in two hours early for our room to not even be ready. Checked in less than an hour early and still got charged the whole fee . The beds are super uncomfortable and springy. Won’t stay there again.

The AC Unit did not work well and we were sweating all night . There is no coffee maker in the room at all . The beds were suppose to be queen size but were full size beds . So I would not stay there again .

VERY weak (almost unusable) internet service. No phone in room. No channel listing or guide on TV. Hot water took almost an actual 10 minutes in the morning (I thought it was out). Staff is very nice; buildings are new and very clean.

Bare necessities room but clean and comfortable.Front desk ladies very friendly and helpful. Not much in the way of maid service,didn’t exactly make the bed, tossed the covers up,no biggie but why bother. Price was reasonable.Wife and I loved the town,places to drive without seeing a condo or building every two feet like in Sarasota where we live.Biggest complaint is room ac loud and not very cool,ran constantly. Overall experience was nice

Loved the location, the new building looks amazing and the staff were awesome. Our room however was quite out dated and the hot water kept going from ice cold to super hot every few seconds. A few missing tiles, and the toilet was really wabbly. But again, the super friendly staff made up for that.

The property has been refurbished recently, so the room and areas are clean and look great. The beds were super comfy, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Its a motel, so don't expect it to be fancy, but if you want a hotel on the water, close to downtown, easy to get to, and with a dock, this is a great place for you. Bar, restaurant, and coffee shop all there! The only reason i did not give 5 stars was that the AC unit in our room was really loud, which woke me up a bit.

The room was clean and pretty spacious with an additional sitting area. The bathroom was quite small. We did not use the kitchen but there was a mini fridge, stovetop, coffee station and large sink. The balcony overlooked a little grassy area. Our room was next to a busy road - I would ask if availability closer to water next time. Fun new gift shop on property, adventure outings available to book and nice tiki bar next to pool and lounge area. Great location to see local springs, shopping restaurants in historic area of Crystal River.

Rooms are not well insulated, so could hear upstair neighbors all night long first night. Thankfully they checked out, and new neighbors went to bed at decent hour. Loved Tiki bar and bartender Tim!

Bebe was absolutely phenomenal. This was our 3rd stay at paddletail and upon arrival she was friendly and polite. After entering our room and it smelling of smoke, we were immediately given a different room, upgraded and given coffee vouchers. A typically stressful situation was resolved with ease. This is our place of stay in CR and will continue to be! Thank you for the great hospitality and service.

Arrived at 1pm and was told, "no chance of checking in before 4pm". Obviously very busy hotel. When I arrived at 4pm there were no less than 10 other customers waiting to check in. The front desk seemed a little chaotic and the staff seemed frustrated, perhaps overworked and understaffed? The room was fine...a little musty smelling but the sheets were clean. The lamp gave me a zap when I tried to plug in my charger cord. There is construction going on at the building across from the pool and the noise will get you up and going in the morning. The walls are really thin...you can hear people peeing in the bathroom next door and can fully hear conversations/TV in the room next door and hear the large buses and harley's in the parking lot. The "free" breakfast to go bag consists of an orange or apple, granola bar, muffin and a water. All in all an average stay at an average hotel chain.

Only problem is check in. The front desk goes over all the places to go and places to see and hands out flyers and brochures! I was next in line and it took over 15 or more minutes to check in. Have a table with this information front desk is for checking in not vacation planing.

We had a very short stay, but were really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. It's obvious they take great pride in this property and they're level of service and it shows! We will certainly make it a point to visit again when in the area!

Wasn’t here long enough to really give a better response but the room and grounds were nice. Bathroom was a tight squeeze but again only there for one night. The location to the what we needed was great. The only problem was I requested a late checkout and was unable to get one..then was told “yes, you can have one free of charge” then not only was I charged but also denied a late checkout. So that put a little bit of a sour taste on our trip..we had to rearrange our schedule. Also, when I came to get our “breakfast on the go” the front desk hostess was a little on the rude side. I’m assuming she about to get off work? The a/c worked great…it was REALLY loud but it worked!! We will probably stay here again but choose a different room set up when we can stay longer. It was expensive for the one night we were there considering we couldn’t get a late checkout. We live in Florida in a tourist destination so I get it. The gift shop was cute!!

Great property in a great location. They have their own dock, you can drop your kayak/paddle board and shoot straight down to Pete’s Pier (where manatees swim) and Three Sisters Springs. All the little parks are literally within walking distance. Property is well kept, clean, staff is nice and friendly. Coffee shop in the lobby is great. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Loved out stay here and would return back in a heartbeat.

Nice staff, clean rooms, very laid-back. The tiki bar has great food. The little coffee breakfast bar is very very slow. But you also get a bag breakfast that you pick up at the desk that is a nice touch. Especially when you’re on the go. We’ll be back. We’ve stayed there before and we’re very happy with the upgrades.

PaddleTail was perfect for our Crystal River stay! The tiki bar on site has amazing food! The ability to book manatee tours and other activities on site is also a plus. Located close to other attractions in town.

Nice waterfront location, walkable to restaurants, convenient to boating activities and local attractions. We really enjoyed the waterfront patio in the evenings, and having the tilki bar and grill was convenient. The room was just ok, could have felt cleaner. Staff all very friendly.

We used this hotel as a one night stopover. It was fine but not quite what we were expecting. Rooms are laid out motel style facing onto the car park but they are comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was disappointing and was served in a bag - a pre-packed muffin, bottle of water and a few other unappealing items. We used the coffee shop on site instead which was great. Crackers next door was good for dinner.

The rooms are very nice. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure and temperature if you let the water run for 5 minutes. Although we were right by the pool area, it closes at 9 and no one abused that. Location is fantastic, near all the attractions, and Crackers restaurant next door is great. Breakfast is a bag with muffin, apple, granola bar and water (no coffee). The coffee shop in the lobby is expensive and the coffee is TERRIBLE (very weak). But there's a Wawa nearby with better coffee.

Well not sure what the upgrade was going from a regular room to a suite but I am not seeing it. The lamp between the beds was broken because the bed when placed flush with the wall the plug breaks.The beds themselves slide all over the room and the middle legs bend on every move. The bathroom was built for children the toilet was 14 inches and the shower was barely 3 feet wide. The property is located in a great location .
