The Villas Cancun by Grand Park Royal - All Inclusive

All in all a great stay! The resort is not too big, we liked that. Great beach! We never used the pools, says a lot because we had two teenage boys with us! Gym: well equipped. We had a plumbing incident in our room, and had to change rooms. The hotel stepped up and changed us to a similar room. We had the Villa junior suite plunge pool oceanfront. We had Jessica as our concierge! She was AWESOME! She made all our bookings in the restaurants and cabanas on the beach. She came by to check on us several times. The restaurants: Hibachi table: awesome Koi: awesome Italian: A bit disappointing. could need improvement in seasoning and courses. Remember this is Mexico, not Italy and that shows. Mexican: good Buffet: different styles every day. Lots of variety. Room service: very good. Would go again!

This was our second time at Grand Park Royal and it was great. The only thing we wanted was for bars and pool to be open later. They close at 8p..The rooftop bar is open till 1am which was nice. We will definitely go back again.

The Villas at Cancun by Grand Park Royal are absolutely incredible. Breathtaking views of the water. An amazing room that was very modern and clean. The restaurants are great and the adult pool was fantastic with the swim-up bar. We opted for the butler service - and our butler Alejandro went above and beyond to make our trip incredible. He set up a romantic dinner on the beach...made us reservations at all the restaurants - and did everything we asked for with absolute kindness and sincerity. There is NO place else to stay in Cancun. Stay at the Villas - and request Alejandro. Not only is he a great member of the staff - he is an incredible human being.

Rocio our butler was five star!!! She was so attentive and helpful. No matter what we asked, she had a solution to offer, even if it was for her to go to the supermarket herself! She went out of her way to make my daughter and son feel special as we were celebrating both of their birthdys! The staff really made our stay wonderful. Erika at the pool was funny, personable and full of drink suggestions! The hotel is very pretty and clean. The food left a lot to be desired. The breakfast buffet was not replenished often enough and when it was, they brought out very little. The one time we attended the buffet for dinner we were very disappointed. There were very few options.There were definitely not enough chairs by the pool or on the beach. Had to get up at 5am to place towels and we weren't even the first ones. Overall, a nice stay that was saved by the staff. Last thing... do NOT book shuttle central for your transfer to and from the airport. They kept us waiting a long time when we landed, an hour past our agreed meeting time! They also never monitored our departure flight. As a result, they were unable to get us to the airport on time so we had to hire a taxi to take us to the airport after already paying for their service. They were the biggest disappointment of the trip.

AC worked great. Very quiet location in hotel and tucked away. Food was very good. We loved the breakfast a la carte by the sea. It turned into seafood restaurant by day and Mexican restaurant by night. Lovely food and staff. We did the open buffet too and it was good. The gardens were beautiful and well kept. Reception in hotel was disappointing, very dark and dismal. The rest of the resort was lovely but staying in the villas made it special. Adult pool great but not much shade in the sun. Roof top bar nice to relax at. This stretch of Cancun really lovely. The pics of the beach/sea are better in real life! We would have come back with no thought as so lovely. Surprised to discover Mexico has strict smoking/vape laws. Simply not allowed anywhere and illegal, and no forewarning to tourists traveling in on vacation from US/Europe etc . It was hard for my travel companion and we would not have come if we had known…. It felt like rehab for her! We had a wonderful time and the hotel was great, sadly the government smoking laws laws made it not so fun for a vacation for one with vices. Won’t affect many, but be aware to others it is a punishable offense in Mexico now.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday at Grand Park Royal. From the moment we checked in to check out we were well taken care of. The staff makes you feel special in all aspects. Jessica, who was taking care of us made sure my sister’s birthday was special. She arranged our dinner reservations and kept us in the loop of all the daily activities at the resort, which was greatly appreciated. We were able to communicate with her through WhatsApp which was very convenient. It was an unforgettable experience. This resort is perfect for a family vacation. However, if you are young and looking to party, It does lack the party scene I’ve experienced from other properties. They do have an adult pool, it would be nice to have a DJ there during the day. Pools and beach access close pretty early I wanna say 8pm so that’s a bummer. Regardless, I would definitely be returning.

Staff is very friendly and very helpful, we stayed for 5 days in a villa. The view was amazing, direct access to beach. Very clean facility. The staff was very quick to address any needs and questions our family had. If we return, we will definitely be staying at Grand Park Royal. It’s within walking distance to the heart of Cancun and has beautiful views. They help arrange transportation and tours. Overall, very satisfied with our choice of hotel.

The property was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the entire setting is relaxing and was nothing short of a fabulous vacation. The only thing we found a bit odd is that in an all inclusive hotel you have to pay to use the gym.

The food choices are very limited. Not enough pool or beach chairs. The servers around the pools and beaches are not enough for the number of guests. This was the only resort where tipping the staff didn't seem to help get better service. The tiles around the outside of the resort are either really rough rocks or slippery tile. The roots are really hard on bare feet. For the all restaurants except the buffet you will need pants, not even dress shorts will do for dinner dinning. This was a big draw back for us. I wouldn't recommend this resort. One last thing, the lack of night time entertainment was a big down side. Not much to do at night.

Great staff. Our butler Erika was also great and always keeping in touch with us throughout our stay making sure we were taken cared of. We booked an all inclusive stay in one of the Junior villa suites. Room was exceptionally clean and beds were comfortable. The food and service was excellent. Would definitely come back again.

Food was terrible. We had to ask to have our room cleaned multiple times and it took a whole day to get it done. Gave feedback on food and was asked so what you don’t like Mexican food? Our personal butler barely checked on us especially in person it was mostly through WhatsApp which was very strange. We booked a cabana and someone else was in our cabana when we tried to use it. I think at one point we waited over an hour for someone to check if we needed another drink while in the cabana then we asked the butler for a drink and finally something was delivered but even by our butler another 45 min later so literally almost two hours to get two beers brought to us. Food again was terrible at every place we ate at. Not one good experience while we were there. Ended up leaving early due to family emergency and nobody offered to refund anything to us for the other half of trip

First when we arrived we noticed that all the soap and shampoos are made with honey. We asked our on site staff if there was any way to get different shampoo and soap because my wife is highly allergic. We were told yes and that they would come to our room later to bring it to us. We waited countless hours and I ended up calling the front desk multiple times until they finally put me through to the supervisor who then told me that there is no other kind of shampoo and soap. Now the next day the staff "butler" who was assigned to assist us for the week said she will look all over and even stores nearby. Again hours pass and nothing gets solved and so we decide to go to the gift shop in the hotel where there is soap and shampoo conditioner that is clearly very overpriced and we had to purchase. We let it go and decided to just move on with the trip. The next morning we woke up to cockroaches in our hotel room. We promptly got our bags and went to the hotel lobby to talk to a manager who was avoiding us for almost 2 hours.When confronting the manager all he said about the cockroaches was that "well the weather" and that he makes sure everything is clean and that if there\'s bugs inside then it\'s "most likely brought by the guests" assuming that WE infested their room with cockroaches. We were "upgraded" to a main hotel room that was half the size of the villa rooms that we paid for and told that there\'s nothing else they can do. And that we couldn\'t receive a refund or anything

We stayed at the Villas. It was very quiet and newly renovated. Easy access to the beach. Amazing view. Also loved the iguanas they had around the property. The staffs are very friendly and quick responses. Buffet was overall ok. But from my experience in the past at different hotels, this buffet wasn't the best. I was very disappointed by the restaurants (Italian and Asian). Sorry, the food was horrible. But all the restaurants were too strict on dress code. Collar shirt, long pants, and closed shoes for men. Definitely overdressed for the food they serve! The programs they had every couple of hours was very fun. Volleyballs, Soccer, Silent party at night etc. A lot of fun things for the kids. Kids center was bit small but good enough for the 3~5 year old.

I love how the villas feel, roomy and quiet, airy and eye-pleasing. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, just get on the bus and ride to other area of the hotel zone and downtown Cancun.

I went with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was beautiful and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful...big thanks to Yejida (our Butler) who was awesome!!! Also. Erica (our back up Butler)...so helpful:) Shout out to Enrique (our houseman) always a smile and so friendly! Finally, Julian in the Mexican restaurant, so friendly and helpful!!!! We had a Villa, it was beautiful, ocean front with a plunge pool...we will definitely return to this hotel!!! (also, the food was excellent in every restaurant we went to, the buffet was great as well!)

This is a beautiful resort. I loved our room. It felt very secluded & private. We stayed in an oceanfront plunge pool villa.The pool is drained & cleaned. (We saw them doing it) we had an amazing butler, Yajahira. She is the best!! The pools are good. There is an adult pool with a swim up bar on the opposite side of the resort. The views from it are really pretty. The food is good. Some better than others. We liked the Mexican restaurant best. We had a great time!

The views from the beachfront villa were breathtaking. The pools are also right on the beach with wonderful views. The staff were all very friendly helpful whenever we needed anything.

The Lady that tried getting us to go to a meeting the following morning wouldn’t take no for an answer even after repeatedly saying it’s not an obligation. So we said yes, just so that we’d be able to get to our room and shower. (We stayed in the Villas) Upon arriving to the room the A/C was not working so we had to call maintenance. He said it was frozen so they had to “defrost” it and that he’d be back in 30 mins, he never came back so we had to call again. He came back a 2nd time and still no fixing so evidently we slept without A/C. We called the following morning to try and get them to fix it. The maintenance guy didn’t even say Hi, when he was already blaming us saying we froze it. I said No Buddy, we got here and it wasn’t working so we slept without it. The A/C never got fixed we would have to mess with the settings every 30 mins no joke. Enough about the A/C. We supposedly got “VIP” and a butler. Our butler didn’t care to meet us the first day, she so happened to run into us 30 mins before her shift ended on the second day. She wasn’t the most attentive through what’s app either. I had to repeat myself several times, because she would just send automated messages. We didnt receive our free bottle of wine until the 3rd day of being there. Majority of the staff there was nice, other than a few people. Swim up bartenders were nice and funny. The other bartender I felt I had to beg

There wasn’t much to do. My parents had a room where their air conditioning didn’t work, workers came and didn’t change anything. My toilet stopped working. The food is average at best other than the steak house but that’s additional cost.

Overall very good property…. WiFi in the room is very patchy…. Food at the buffet was good but the food quality & service at the oriental restaurant is not good

The Ocean front view is the only nice thing in this resort. Everything is so limited and the Customer Service is the worst Customer Service we ever had.

Overall the resort was beautiful. Our vacation was very relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves. The food is hit or miss, some restaurants are better than others. They are very pushy about trying to sell you their vacation club, which took up basically one of our whole days we were there because they had trouble taking no for an answer. So just be aware you will lose at least 3 hours to that if you go here.

Staff was amazing. Our concierge, Rocio, was awesome. Kept in touch on her day off. Even got some beach toys for our grandkids to play with. All of the frontline staff was friendly and professional. Had one issue with KOI restraunt. Grandkids denied entry. Website error, difference between Spanish and English translation on their website.Immediately addressed and remedied by the Manager of all the restraunts, Uvaldo, who was amazing. Got us into the restraunt, and personally made sure we had no more issues. Upper management and front line staff really care about making sure your stay is perfect. Thanks again to Uvaldo and Rocio and the rest of the staff.

The service was excellent from the beginning. We arrived a little early from check in but they gave us the our room early without extra charge. Our personal helper Rocio was wonderful and helped us with transportation even before we arrived to the resort. She did reservations for the resturants and made sure we had everything we needed. I really recommend especially with the wonderful staff members like Rocio.

Wish there was better liquor and the bartender at the swim up pool was VERY disrespectful

Vinimos a Cancún para un viaje en pareja y nos enamoramos de este lugar! Las villas frente al mar tienen vistas espectaculares y el servicio VIP es de la más alta calidad. ¡Un agradecimiento especial a Jessica, Carla y Angel que ayudaron a que este viaje fuera inolvidable! PROS: playa siempre libre, disponibilidad de instalaciones, comida CONTRAS: a la llegada se ofrece un desayuno con la presentación de los servicios del hotel pero en realidad es un intento de vender la membresía.

We just returned from a week long trip over New Years with our 17 yr old son. Initially we were offered an ‘upgrade’ in the main building with a swim up pool. This was a more expensive room but our Villa Deluxe Oceanfront was superior. They allowed us to this room after a couple of days and we really enjoyed it: expansive view of the Caribbean from the balcony, cabana, and Butler included. Thanks, Mario for taking care of us. This a lovely property with a large beachfront. Everybody seemed to get a chair. Perfect for families with kids. Turquoise, clear sea with a sandy bottom. Very swimmable. There was a good variety of food is offered. The best coffee and treats are in the cafe off the lobby. Look for Edgar there, he’s the best! Finally, one recommendation would be to have a teen lounge area with snacks and non alcoholic drinks, a TV to watch sports, and maybe a pool or billiard table. Note: you must be 18 to use the gym. There really aren’t any locations for teens to meet other teens and hang out except the beach sports which a lot of adults are involved in. Just a suggestion.

i stayed in a villa and i liked the ocean front property. i dislike the way some are so pushy about buying future stays at the resort. they tried to give us the talk 3 times. by the second time we avoided staff because they desperately wanted to waste your time. and the guys selling stuff on the outside stands. i understand the hustle just think they are a little too much at times. also room service. i only order rs after hours. you can only order rs at this location up until 11. also i dislike the app for the resort. can’t do lots of things you should be able to do.

We stayed in a master ocean front villa with plunge pool. The property is beautiful and the service is phenomenal. We had the most wonderful butler Yajahira! She went out of her way to make sure all of our needs were met. The only reason I give the resort a strong 7 is because the food is awful and the drinks are mediocre. We ate at all of the specialty restaurants and not one satisfied us. I understand everyone has a different palette but this is MÉXICO! The food should have flavor.

We ate at he four restaurants included in our package. The oriental and Mexican restaurants were good, the buffet average for a hotel of this standard. The Italian below average. On two occasions we ate there the meat was well overcooked and the prawns were not clean and my son got sick for a day from eating one before we noticed.

This place is beautiful. Our junior ocean front suite was perfect. Stuff was amazing. Rossi our butler really helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was food Buffet option really poor and low quality. Restaurants also not good at all we tried Italian . We both really didn’t like it and other people who we met in the resort said same thing. Oriental restaurant same thing. Lots of rice … no flavor and manu very limited. We thought that maybe hibachi table will be better. But unfortunately no It was the worst hibachi food I had Drinks diluted and not tasty My husband decided to drink beer because drinks were not good and would have sometimes straight tequila. It was the safest choice . I think the only place we enjoyed was coffee place They had good coffee and pastries and ice cream. If this resort would have better food it could be really perfect place to vacation. Place is beautiful unfortunately food is horrible

The hotel its self was great. Staff was wonderful. My butler mario i cant say enough about him. He was always available even if his shift had not started he was always there to help and assist us in what ever we needed. Jennifer was also a great assistant. The buffet had its good days breakfast and lunch where great dinner was so so. Over all a great place to stay.

There wasn’t much to do. My parents had a room where their air conditioning didn’t work, workers came and didn’t change anything. My toilet stopped working. The food is average at best other than the steak house but that’s additional cost.

Villa was spacious and enjoyed the patio with plunge pool. It was right on the beach with the best view. The housekeeping staff was excellent. But all of that was overshadowed by the poor quality of food and options. The buffet was the worst I’ve ever had. The room service was equally terrible. I would suggest adding more attention to the kitchen.

Overall very good property…. WiFi in the room is very patchy…. Food at the buffet was good but the food quality & service at the oriental restaurant is not good

it was nice experience and the staff were really nice, although the food was not good and had limited options
