From the three days I stayed, only one day received cleaning service in the room, this after talking to the housekeeper letting her know we were out for the day and needed all cleaned. Second, there are two of the front desk guys that practically ignored customers when arrive, not nice. Third, in the website there are specification the hotel has EV chargers, well none of them worked at the time, then notified front desk, and the answer was these don't belong to the hotel , you gotta call tesla, thats not our problem. Fourth, overall the place had some weird smells during the day and saw lots of spots on walls and rugs. The place is not bad, but it needs attention. I booked because of the reviews read from previous customers. Honestly, I wouldn't think to book it again.

Easily accessible off the Highway, and walkable to many restaurants and shopping. Hotel has only one, slow elevator. Bathroom showers are somewhat dangerous if you do not put down the bath mat - extremely slippery. Management should note this to avoid any injury claims (which almost happened with me).

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. There was scaffolding in the lobby and around the property, but there was not loud construction noise and the plans for the property sound great. Pool and breakfast was available but the gym was not available.

Rooms are small. Bed pillows small too. Room is clean and housekeeping is very helpful. A new washer and dryer in laundry room would be helpful. Dryer had some type of grease. Couldn’t use after washing clothes. Had to go to laundry mat.

I would recommend this property to anyone! It was nice and clean; tasty breakfast, 24-hr coffee. A notice taped beside the elevator mentioned promised upgrades to come. (I can only recall a gym as one of them because that is the first thing my daughter searched out.) My only personal negative was I forgot my white noise machine and it was much too quiet with not quite enough soundproofing for my sleep need. My adult daughter had no problem.

There was something red on the blankets. Looked like blood. The bathroom had a bad odor, smelled like humidity and sewage. It did its job but won’t be staying here again. I don’t recommend this property for family with children. Outside of the property were people smoking marijuana and it just made the experience not so pleasant. Staff was professional and nice. Place was fairly quiet and peaceful but it’s worth spending $50 more a day to have a better experience. I didn’t make it a big deal because I was staying 2 nights and we were not in the hotel until night time. It felt as they tried their best to keep the place clean but definitely needs and update. Seemed as they just refreshed the building on the outside and did the best they can with everything else. It did its job but not the best. It felt dirty in someway. It kind of felt like a motel.

I liked nothing about this property. It had ROACHES AND BEDBUGS. No towels , I had to go buy towels , I had to check out at 2am with my kids because of roaches and bedbugs. Set in the car riding around looking for another hotel til 3am.They told me they don’t change the sheets for you , it was food crumbs from the elevator to the end of the hallway. It had garbage cans full of food by every other door . I was forced to stay because there wasn’t no refund and I booked for a week . Bad customer service . I was told I could get towels the next day at 9am and it was 2pm . Overall , JUST DON’T DO IT ! NASTY

The staff at check in was great. The hotel and room not so much. It’s not clean, smells musty in the hallways. We had a roach crawling on the dresser too. It was empty but all the guests seemed to be on our floor and were so loud all night slamming doors. I would not return.

Room smelled like dirty socks and was very humid. Towels did NOT dry when hung up over night. Therefore, the damp dirty sock smell each day when I returned to the room.

The hotel was clean the staff was very nice and friendly. The room was pretty small in the bathroom was tiny, but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location was really nice because it’s close to all the shopping and restaurants without being right in the business of Wesley Chapel. Our only complaint is that the walls are insanely thin so all night long we could hear people Outside in the parking lot and also in the hallways of the hotel. People were walking up and down the halls all night, long and when they would be talking, it was so loud that they sounded like they were in our room.

Ok place for a night no idea where the rating of 8.6 comes from, it’s an OK place if you are passing thru and need something where you can sleep a view hrs but definitely not excellent as the rating states. Dated property small rooms and bathrooms plus the bed is way to soft like a hammock. Nothing I would consider to repeat

Staff was very welcoming. Room was clean and comfy. Perfect size for what was needed. Hot water quickly ran out and water pressure was ok but it did the job. Would have been 5 stars outside of that! very close to many food options. I did hear traffic but nothing that I lost sleep over.

The staff was very hospitable and the location was convenient. The hotel also provides several electric car chargers which is a nice perk. Unfortunately the beds were hard and shower had poor water pressure and did not get very hot. Breakfast was sparse.

I thought the property was a good value, but very noisy. The staff was nice, but when they gather in the lobby to talk, their voices echo throughout the hallways. Since there is a large space under the doors, it can be pretty loud. If I return to the area, I will ask for a room on a higher floor - I was in 103, close to the lobby.

Management could not be bothered to process a refund when the hotel changed ownership and I was forced to double pay until I initiated a call to Expedia and then the manager cooperated. Otherwise the staff were wonderful and the spaces clean. This was my first experience having to request at reception room cleaning. I will not stay here again.

This is a great hotel, the GM Oswaldo and all the staff are amazing. We chose this hotel to be in close proximity to the AdventHealth Hospital. We have stayed in big name hotels and they are by far the most accommodating, courteous, helpful, and compassionate hosts ever. While it’s not the Waldorf Astoria, they are family oriented. They are really dressing up the hotel to reflect the greater Tampa Bay Area sports teams which is nice. The breakfast is wonderful and the ladies are great. Plenty of seating and most of all, not crowded. They change up the selections as well. There are so many options to shop and eat nearby you can easily walk to or drive in 2-5 minutes. Outback, quaint family Bistros, CrackerBarrel, and all the popular fast food places. Shopping is also near, Old Navy, Bealls, Craft stores, etc.

We had high hopes as the property had a high rating when we booked. When we arrived, the person at the front desk was on her phone and couldn’t be bothered to greet us or check us in. Additionally, there was what we assume was a homeless person hanging out in the lobby with a wagon full of junk. Once we did finally get checked in, we made our way to the room where we found all of the smoke detectors in the hallway covered with plastic tape. This immediately made us feel unsafe. Inside the room we were met with a musty mildew smell and the door didn’t close all the way. In fact, none of the doors closed all the way and you could hear everyone inside all of the rooms. This also let light in through the door at night making the rooms very bright. The shower didn’t close all the way and leaked water all over the floor when we tried to take a shower. Additionally we found hairs on the towels, shower wall, and in the bed. The AC unit displayed 68 as the temperature however it was so hot and humid in the room all night. Overall, it’s in a great location but we would opt to spend a few extra dollars and stay at a name brand hotel we know and trust. We were really disappointed.

Horrible stay! Do NOT recommend! Should have checked out! If we had unlimited income we would have. The room reeked of mildew. Air fresheners didn’t help! Small lobby, very small. They try to do too much in that small area. Causes issues, too many people gathering in a very small area. Also the hotel was packed with youth basketball players, that’s not the issue.. the issue is those players are loud and rude. Coach and parents weren’t much better. Hotel staff was no help at all. The hotel is close to a large youth sports complex and it seems this happens often.

when we got to town (5pm) i called to verify that checking in later in the evening would be okay or we would come by, was told we had till 3 am to check in, arrived at 8 pm and was told they didn't have any rooms left , they had over booked and they were sorry. i said we had called to verify and was told " well we had rooms then"

Person that checked us in had no personality. Our room only had 2 towels so i went to the front desk and asked for 2 more. She stated i had to turn in dirty towels to get new ones. I told her we just checked in and 2 towels is not enough for 2 people for 3 nights. She just repeated what she said but with an attitude. The room was very musty and humid. The hallway was humid and musty. I was able to get extra towels when the next front desk person came on. I will not stay there again. Definitely not worth the price. I've stayed at way better hotels for less.

It was OK for a quick one night stay. Not sure I would do it again. I’m not sure if there was construction happening through the night or repairs, but it sounded like somebody was drilling through the ceiling different times through the night. I will say, the staff was incredibly nice and professional, and seemed to work way above expectation for a hotel of this type. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a mid tier road stop hotel

stayed for several nights. on Monday, 12/29 the breakfast was lacking from that of prior days. no biscuits, gravy or muffins which left one with few options. the breakfast is why i chose SpotX as there are multiple hotel options in this area.

Breakfast was subpar. People live at the hotel and eat all the breakfast before the guests can even have any. They take plate after plate to their rooms and come back with other family members and take more and more food. They can’t fit that many people in a room!!They don’t replenish the food very quickly and run out of drinks and it takes days to replenish.

Great location. Super staff. Breakfast was blah. Bed was great. Desk chair in king room was terrible. Almost flip backwards when you sat down. Over all it was a good place to stay.
