Horrible over crowded and noisy

Hotel is old and not worth the money in my opinion. If you’ve been to the US and stayed at Motel 6, this is how I would describe the room I stayed in. The spring mattress was very old. I’ve been coming to Japan for so long and this is the first time I’ve had to sleep on a spring mattress that was very old and uncomfortable. A futon mattress would have been better. The hotel is nice only in the lobby. Carpet in the hallways was badly stained, elevators were slow. I stayed for one night to use the onsen after a long hiking trip, but lots of young children were screaming and used the public bath as if it was a swimming pool. It was not a relaxing experience at all.

Exemplary staff and facilities but the age of the building does show in some areas. The common areas and facilities were constantly overcrowded but given the 3-day weekend it would be expected. Overall a very satisfactory stay.

Big room with separate toilet and bath area.

Lounge bar service out of my expectation.
