Unser Zimmer war ganz niedlich und sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein innenliegendes Zimmer, was dadurch dunkel aber sehr ruhig war. Es gab immer Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Kuchen. Das Frühstück war sehr süß angerichtet und für jeden was dabei. Viele frische ausgewählte Lebensmittel. Der Service war grandios. Wir konnten nach dem auschecken unser Gepäck dort lassen und beim abholen auch noch mal ganz entspannt einen Tee und Kaffee trinken und die Bäder besuchen. Die Lage ist perfekt für den Barcelona Urlaub! Ich würde das Hotel immer wieder buchen!

The owner pays attention to all your comfort needs including tooth brushes and toothpaste in the rooms. Her greeting information was excellent communication and her welcome brochure was intriguing. It was nice to stay in the first home of Picasso on his move to Barcelona. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Water coolers for use on every floor and rooftop terrace was an added bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fint ophold. Billederne levede op til virkeligheden og fin velkomst. Værelserne ligger ud til et fællesareal, så man kan høre de andre gå rundt og fx lave kaffe, stryge tøj mv. hvilket ikke føles privat, når man ligger i sin seng og sover. Derudover ligger værelset ud til en kæmpe vej, hvilket vi ikke havde tænkt over, så der er meget larm. Det er et anderledes hotel fx ingen gulvtæppe, men et smukt stengulv og flot antikt loft, så man føler det gamle Barcelona. Vi skulle selv styre aircon/varmen, hvilket man ikke normalt skal på et hotel og der er heller ingen reception og det føles derfor mere som en lille lejlighed uden køkken. Ganske fint, men ikke hotel-Wibe. Sengene var ok. Morgenmaden super fin med super lækker friskpresset juice. God beliggenhed ved stranden og El Born, men en halv time fra de store shoppegader. Super smuk tagterrasse dog uden møbler, så man ikke kunne opholde sig der og fx drikke en kop kaffe, så vi forstår ikke helt pointen med at kunne gå derop. Vi synes det var dyrt i forhold til hvad vi ellers kunne have valgt af hoteller.

Great place to stay for a trip to Barcelona. The room was perfectly equipped and breakfast was good with decent options all prepared freshly. The snacks in the break room were also very generous and well received! I'd happily stay here again.

Liked the avaikabikity of water, coffee and snacks. Really good value with breakfast. Lack if an elevator can be challenging for people who have difficulty climbing narrow staurs.

Great little hotel in a historic building. Perfect location. We were able to walk to everything. Staff so nice, great breakfast. The room was beautiful and felt historical. Rooftop garden was lovely and sitting areas were beautiful and serene. Would recommend for your stay in Barcelona. They also went out of their way to take our luggage for us early and set us up for an easy check in when the room was ready.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and informative. We arrived quite early in the day, long before check-in time and the staff allowed us to store our bags in a safe location. When we returned, our belongings had been moved to our rooms. The breakfast provided was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the breakfast area was quite lovely. This hotel would not be appropriate for those with mobility issues as there is presently no elevator to move bags upstairs. We managed although we are all in our late seventies.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Sowohl die Inhaberin als auch das Personal sind super lieb und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch mit frischen Früchten und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und werden täglich feucht gewischt und gereinigt.

I stayed here for a 2-night city break for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we were beyond impressed with everything about it. The beautiful design of the room, the comfort of the bed and pillows (honestly one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in), the thoughtful details and touches throughout the building, the amazing breakfast spread, and even the peaceful rooftop garden. The host was such a wonderful woman, and made us feel so at home. It’s so rare these days to find accommodation that ticks all of the boxes, and we’d come back again in a heartbeat!

Amazing hotel in a vintage building in Barcelona! The staff were accommodating and friendly and the breakfast and snack options were thoughtful and appreciated. The rooms were lovely and the original features throughout the building were beautiful. Be prepared to walk up a couple of flights of stairs as there is no elevator but it was worth it. Very glad we found this gem within walking distance to the water and restaurants as well as easy access to all the tourist spots.

A very well run charming boutique hotel convenient to the waterfront, Ramblas, and subways. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fresh and adequate. We had a larger room on the street side which was bright by day but can be a bit noisy at night. It should also be noted that you will need to climb 2 flights of stairs to access the property as an elevator is not available. All in all a very nice property and good value if you are visiting Barcelona.

Friendly staff kindly granted us late checkout (noon). Our only complaint is the street noise that lasted into late night, as the hotel is on a major thoroughfare.

Wonderful breakfast and host in a fabulous historical building with amazing rooftop. We stayed in the smallest room as that was all that was available….they are tiny with no natural light due to the orientation but would stay again:)

Friendly staff even when we had to call her at 2am since we could not find the access card to enter the premise. Maybe they can just send the video how to find the box and input the numbers next time. Or state the brand of the box. Like this the information will be very clear for patrons who need late check ins.

Sandra has taken a beautiful property in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and made it a home away from home for travelers. Great location for our stay. Easy to walk to most major points. Taxis easy to get close by. Attention to our stay was fantastic. We came in early for our cruise the next day and they stored our luggage gladly. Overall, wonderful stay.

Porxos Garden is an absolute gem. We loved the fact that it was an historic building with modern rooms. Sandra and her staff were wonderful and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Centrally located in a very safe area. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Porxos Garden was amazing. Communication was excellent, we had a late check in that was so easy, and the property itself was lovely. The owner Sandra and her staff go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic!! The only thing that some people may find difficult was that because the hotel is within a beautiful historic building there’s no elevator, but the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable and safe!

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and informative. We arrived quite early in the day, long before check-in time and the staff allowed us to store our bags in a safe location. When we returned, our belongings had been moved to our rooms. The breakfast provided was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the breakfast area was quite lovely. This hotel would not be appropriate for those with mobility issues as there is presently no elevator to move bags upstairs. We managed although we are all in our late seventies.

This location is great. Shopping is at a walking distance. There is a place to eat at 1am. The marina is very close and a safe place to walk at midnight. Sandra, the host at the hotel was very attentive and friendly. I would come back anytime.

Fint ophold. Billederne levede op til virkeligheden og fin velkomst. Værelserne ligger ud til et fællesareal, så man kan høre de andre gå rundt og fx lave kaffe, stryge tøj mv. hvilket ikke føles privat, når man ligger i sin seng og sover. Derudover ligger værelset ud til en kæmpe vej, hvilket vi ikke havde tænkt over, så der er meget larm. Det er et anderledes hotel fx ingen gulvtæppe, men et smukt stengulv og flot antikt loft, så man føler det gamle Barcelona. Vi skulle selv styre aircon/varmen, hvilket man ikke normalt skal på et hotel og der er heller ingen reception og det føles derfor mere som en lille lejlighed uden køkken. Ganske fint, men ikke hotel-Wibe. Sengene var ok. Morgenmaden super fin med super lækker friskpresset juice. God beliggenhed ved stranden og El Born, men en halv time fra de store shoppegader. Super smuk tagterrasse dog uden møbler, så man ikke kunne opholde sig der og fx drikke en kop kaffe, så vi forstår ikke helt pointen med at kunne gå derop. Vi synes det var dyrt i forhold til hvad vi ellers kunne have valgt af hoteller.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Sowohl die Inhaberin als auch das Personal sind super lieb und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch mit frischen Früchten und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und werden täglich feucht gewischt und gereinigt.

What a charming historic building in the perfect location near the ports and beaches. We had a lovely room with beautiful painted ceilings with terrace space with amazing views and very comfortable bed. They have a rooftop garden and the best breakfast we had in Barcelona. We were celebrating wedding anniversary and they gave us chocolates and a handwritten card. The owner manager was very friendly and welcoming. This is the best place to stay when in Barcelona.
