Thus hotel has no elevators. Once i got pass that i got to my room. The half bathroom was broke. My heat did not work. And then i see roaches. No room phone. I called the front desk no answer i went downstairs the front desk was closed no on was there and it was extremely dark . I left way before my check out time. I didn't have the option to swtich rooms because no one was at the front desk.

This was by the far the worse hotel ive ever stayed in. from the roaches to the holes in the wall it was all around disgusting. there were no towels and wash clothes that were clean nor any available at the front desk. HIGHLY disappointed. i give a negative 5 stars and call it a motel!

Ohhh, I have to say this is the nightmare of our family trip, I feel very uncomfortable after check in, the dirty carpet, the old furnitures let me doubt how this could be a hotel, it really breaks the bottom line. Not mention the hallway is full of weeds smell, I even can’t explain to my kids what the smell is. We moved to another hotel the same night we checked in, although we paid two nights, it is a big lesson learn: run away from this terrible hotel!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I was initially given a room that strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. After requesting a different room, the second room smelled even worse. Due to the overwhelming odor, I was unable to stay and had to leave the hotel entirely. This made it impossible for me to complete my stay as planned.

The lobby smells like marijuana. Only had 2 towels for 5 people. Had to wait the next day for more towels after asking 3 times. No microwaves in the rooms even though they have a full fridge and kitchenette.

The gentleman Harry made my stay a lot more comfortable. I came there with my two year-old son. There’s no microwave in the rooms. There’s no TVs downstairs in the suites. Also, when my two year-old stood up on the bed upstairs, there’s no protective bar. A child could easily lean over and fall straight down an easy death or permanent disability protective glass needs to be there or something Harry you’ve been wet and found me extra items for the bathroom so I could bathe my son. He was such a joy One thing about the refrigerator. It’s really clean and super cold all in all I would stay there again you just have to come prepared.

Before i had left i had trouble shutting off the shower faucet and it needs to be fixed in rm 117. The floor in the hallways looks blotchy. After i had left my back started hurting really bad because the beds were too firm. The room smelled a lil but i kept the air conditioner on to reduce the smell. Cops being there at night due to fight breakouts or other is a red flag. Overall, the room appearance looks nice. It just needs adjustments.

I booked 3 rooms with 2 queen bed and one twin in each room when I got there they didn’t have twin beds it was two chairs that they wanted us to put together as if that would be equivalent to a twin bed. One of the rooms the air conditioner did not work. The furniture was broken. It was definitely not what I expected. It’s unfortunate because it does have potential to be a nice facility but it not kept up well..

There were people running everywhere. Very unsafe feeling. Booked two nights left after first and lost money because of it but it was that bad. TV didn’t work. The latch on the door was busted. Old carpeting I can go on and on.

The entire hotel felt dirty as soon as you walk in and it smelled like nothing but weed throughout the entire hotel and it was definitely not soundproof because you can hear everyone that’s in the hallway and the room felt like the stairs were going to collapse and the cleaning staff does not clean the rooms they way they are suppose too and they also tried to come inside my room 40 minutes before checkout time it was just an overall bad experience and couldn’t wait to leave

I had a great stay at Somerset Lofts. The room was very clean, and the staff was also extremely nice and helpful. I had some work at Rutgers University and chose this hotel and have to say, the location is very good. I highly recommend this property.

It was a sketchy hotels. I didn’t know when I booked that it was used to house the homeless. Police showed up to another room at 4 am
