It was very close to shopping area and movie theater. I had to get out of my room and hotel to relax because the option I thought I would have to use the hotel’s hot tub was removed because it was a broken pump and the fireplace in the lobby was broken; therefore I had to leave the hotel to relax and unwind.

Everything was clean, comfortable and I’d stay there again. The reason for a 4 rating…. Only one ice machine working in entire hotel and the pool was very very cold, (but nice hot tub). Other than that, great breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, great service in all areas. Truly a nice place to stay.

The room we were given was terrible. Broken sink counter that was “put” back together. Bathroom was crazy. The hot tubs jets don’t work and kids were in and out spitting and putting boogers everywhere. Unattended kids running the halls and banging on doors. Pull out couch bed was uncleaned. The key card barely work for any door. It take multiple try’s to gain entry.

Always a fantastic place for a group of friends to visit in their two bedroom King/Two Queens suite! Only complaint was that the hot tub by the pool was lukewarm / cool, instead of hot. Was looking forward to soaking in it. Otherwise, great stay! Excellent staff.

The pool area was filthy. There was a black film on the tile around the whole pool and hot tub, the floor was slimy. The "heater was broken" making the pool absolutely freezing and nearly unusable. One of the staff members was walking around slamming things and yelling at guests during breakfast making the whole morning uncomfortable for everyone. The morning we were leaving, we'd called up the front desk asking for a luggage cart to be brought up to us on the 2nd floor and was told "uhh I mean, I'll try to find someone" and apparently they couldnt because waiting for them almost made us late for checkout. The layout of the building alone was a nightmare to get through. It took a solid 5-7minutes to get anywhere from any point in the building.

I did not use the pool or hot tub or fitness room. However, the hotel is in excellent condition. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our air conditioner was a little noisy but otherwise all the upgrades were wonderful. The breakfast was the best I ever had and we stay at hotels that serve breakfast frequently.

Found live bedbug in room. Presented it to staff and later found out it was not reported and room was rented to unsuspecting travelers the next day. I have stayed there happily for many years but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We chose this location for the pool & hot tub, because kids. The hot tub was lukewarm at best. The room smelled of fryer grease requiring an open window, had opened food in the cupboard. Breakfast was uninspiring. Staff were friendly, easy check-in. I still need to call to find out what the additional $25 charge is for.

This place is falling apart. The only good thing was the breakfast. The internet doesn’t work. The tv goes black constantly. Our bath tub and sink wouldn’t drain. The counter top was literally broken and falling off so we couldn’t use the bathroom sink. And the door to our suite wouldn’t shut. You had to force it closed and open. That’s definitely a safety hazard. Waited all weekend to talk to a manager only to be told she’s too busy today. They couldn’t put us in another room because apparently they were sold out. I just can’t even. This is one of the worst stays we’ve ever had anywhere. And they won’t refund us or help at all. I was given a manager card and told to try to call tomorrow even though we’re checking out today.

The suite had lots of room and having a kitchen and living rooom was convenient. However, it was dated, the light in the bathroom was the equivalent of a night light, the bed squeezed bad everytime i rolled over, the main door into the room would only open about 12 inches and the hallway was pretty dark especially by our room because lights were not functioning. Would expect more from Hilton. Tried to let manager know my concerns, but they were too busy to talk to customers (per front desk).They share a parking lot with the Hampton. Next time, I'll stay there.

Check in was fine, the hotel itself is very large. It really needs updating, that's the best way to describe it. The rooms have old decor and wallpaper. Pieces of the fixtures and walls are starting to come undone. The AC was running, but the room was really humid and stuffy feeling, which made the bedding feel the same. The room was really big with lots of space. The breakfast was different than most places, but it was good. They had stuff for breakfast tacos which was a nice offering.

Some trouble checking in on the front desk end and it would have been helpful if the girl at check in told us where our room is the hotel was quite big and didn’t realize there was two elevators. There was no TV guide in the room or on the TV was really hard to find channels. Light over the sink in the bathroom didn’t work. Breakfast host was rude and not nice. Pool temp was freezing. We had to rekeyed the door card and the front desk staff was rude about it and seemed like we were a bother. Will not be going back. If the staff was nicer it would be a different story but they were all just not nice people over all.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful. However, when checking me in (I had paid prior to arrival), the front desk attendant did not check my ID and only paid attention to my last name. She then put me in a room that was already occupied by another person with the same last name. We were very excited to have a hot tub in the pool area, but the jets would not work.

I got an email to check in online. I did so and it told me to go to the front desk when we arrived to get our room keys. It was my son’s birthday and he wanted to go swimming so we booked this room for the weekend. When we arrived with our life jackets in tow, we were informed the pool was closed due to needing repair. They did offer for us to walk across the parking lot and use the sister hotel’s pool though. With my 3 kids being young and October in Michigan, it really wasn’t feasible to do so. I requested a refund so I could book at the hotel across the parking lot with the working pool (Hampton by Hilton). I was told the manager would be in on Monday and they would put a note with what happened. When I called back I was told to call Hotels.com. Totally fine, they reached out to the hotel multiple times and got no response so they were unable to refund the room and offered a small credit. I filed a dispute with my bank and was only able to get 1 of 2 nights back. It absolutely sucks that I’m the one penalized when we were not notified that the full facility would not be available until arrival and now I’m stuck paying for two hotels.

Great hotel just off I96. Perfect location near many stores and restaurants, plus downtown Brighton is nearby. Hotel was so clean and festive looking. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice breakfast too.

Was a really nice and very central to everything I needed! It was a perfect location. Sadly my AirPods came up missing, and yes I am tracking them and the hotel has not been able to give me a call back, after 4 phone calls and one being disconnected after asking the third time about them.

My husband and I love staying here when we come to Brighton to visit friends. Friendly, clean, best breakfast included, dog friendly. We don’t usually bring our fur babies, but if we wanted too, we would. Close to Target, Panera and downtown shops and restaurants. Conveniently located by expressways.

The hotel is located near several shops and restaurants which made things super convenient. The suite had a great gally kitchen which made it easy to have lunch in rather than every meal at a restaurant . We were there during a snow storm that knocked the cable out for an evening which made it a bit tricky to stay entertained while indoors. Otherwise good experience and we will stay there again in the future when we visit family in the area

Absolutely great stay!! Staff was super friendly. Hotel was clean and very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman doing breakfast was very attentive and made sure everything stayed available. We will definitely stay again when we are back in that area.
