Staff at ✔️ in was so welcoming! Everytime I walked by the front desk I was greeted by name! Asked how my stay was. My room and the property was extremely clean...10 out of 10...two drawbacks, ice machines not working, and front desk could not break a $50 so I could leave a bigger tip. Definitely will recommend! Thank you

Hotel staff was friendly and polite. The room was wonderful, clean, and huge for one person staying for almost a week. The down stairs amenities was definitely a plus for any snacks you may have forgotten.

The pool was perfect for a little night away with my kids. Hotel was perfectly clean and staff was all lovely

Hotel and room was very clean. King size bedroom was comfortable. It was nice to have a full size fridge, microwave, stove top and dishwasher available. They even have dish soap/dishwasher tabs/plates/small pan. We were only there for a weekend and didn’t use most of it but it was still nice to have available. We used the pool. It was clean and at a good temperature. We have no complaints. We would stay there again. Front desk staff were very pleasant also

The hotel was comfortable and located in a shopping area. I was a little concerned about security, as we returned late each evening after visiting family during the day. The parking area is dark and there wasn't signs of any security. We walked in a few nights, and there wasn't anyone at the front desk. A little concerning!

We enjoy Candlewood Inn and Suites, having stayed there 4 times when visiting family in the area. The hotel is very conveniently located for food, shopping, and family. It is always clean and quiet, and the coffee is always hot and ready. The fitness center is spacious with a good mix of equipment. The free laundry is also a big plus. We will be coming back.

This property was clean and convenient. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We used the gym which was clean and in great condition as well. The area is not overly busy, yet it has a decent amount of restaurants and shopping right around the corner, and lots more within a short drive.

Hotel is conveniently located off the highway in Brighton. So close to all the stores and restaurants. Nicely appointed and spacious room. A breakfast would be a nice addition to their amenities. Pool was a good size and water a good temp.

I loved how it had everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay but not only that for the price had a kitchen. The 24 hr coffee bar was excellent!!! Also the 24hr workout area and pool didn't disappoint either!

The Candlewood Suites in Brighton is a nice property with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen area. It is intended for long-term stays and not the 2-night visit I was there for to attend a wedding. So, this is a property where you will absolutely need a car as there are no Ubers and there is no hotel restaurant or lounge for a bite. There are some fast-food places nearby but traveling alone, and with the hotel situated along a couple of lonely streets, I did not feel comfortable making the trek after dark even if the area appeared safe. Housekeeping services are limited but anything you need can be picked up at the front desk. All in all, it's a nice place for those in town for business and who are staying for a week or more. It was fine for my stay as well because everyone was nice, and I made do.

This hotel is outstanding! The room was large, nicely furnished and immaculate. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I also appreciated the recliner. Lots of channels available on the TV including HBO. We were warmly greeted by staff upon our arrival, and they showed us the “lending closet” with games, books, and extra cookware. The pool was nice and clean also. Will definitely stay here again!

The property was very nice, hotel was very clean. We drove from Illinois for a Funeral and didn't realize when we booked the room that it had a small kitchen in it, which we did not need. Which were wondering why it didn't have free breakfast like the other hotels around. Also, we stayed for 2 nights and were surprised the room wasn't cleaned and no fresh towels for the next day. Other than that, the room was nice and the staff was very pleasant.

Was very clean the lighting in the whole hotel was awesome. It smelled so good walking in and threw out the hotel. The room felt like home very very comfortable i highly recommend staying here 10/10 best hotel experience!

Very strong odors upon entering lobby, heavy mold and/or chemical smell couldn't figure out which one. But odors were also strong in our room so much so we needed to open window to air out room

The hotel was quiet and clean. They were doing some remodeling. The front desk was not attended when we arrived and had to wait for about 15 minutes. The water in the water in the shower changed from hot to cold while in shower. The property was super clean!

Had a pleasant stay at Candlewood Suites. The property was notably quiet, which made for restful nights - a real plus for business travelers or anyone wanting good sleep. The bed was comfortable with a quality mattress and pillows that actually provided proper support. The standout feature was definitely the in-room kitchen. It was well-equipped and spacious enough to prepare actual meals, not just reheat leftovers. Having a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher made the extended stay feel much more like home. Overall, a solid choice for longer stays when you want the convenience of cooking your own meals in a peaceful environment.

Love the full kitchen concept. Walls were a bit thin, I could hear people walking above me and doors slamming from the hallway. Fridge was making tapping noise.

How should I describe how awful of an experience that I had at this Hotel? To begin, I selected this hotel after reading the reviews of how quiet it was, and what a good night's sleep everyone enjoyed here. I am here to say that this was the exact opposite of my experience. Typically, this happens because of rude guests in other rooms making noise, or even mechanical issues--but the problems here were entirely caused by the staff being negligent. I drove 14 hours total over 2 days and was exhausted upon arrival. At check-in, I was given a piece of paper to fill out with my auto's information for the parking pass. I replied that I would need to go check the plate as it was a rental. The desk worker assured me that it was not needed. At 11p, an hour into sleep I received a call that my "dome light is on." I go to the lot in the middle of the night to discover it is not my car whose lights were on. Bad enough, but forgiveable I guess. At 1 AM, there was a pounding on my door, I got scared, as I guess there must be a fire or other emergency. When I look out the peep hole, it is a hotel employee saying "I have the water you ordered." I DID NOT ORDER ANY WATER! I DID NOT CALL HIM! OMG I was furious to be woken up for now a 2nd time by these careless people. I have never experienced anything like this. Needless to say, I took me forever to fall back asleep, and indeed my day was ruined on my trip because I was exhausted from lack of sleep. What an absolute nightmare!

This property is located close to everything! Lots of shopping and dining nearby. I was in town to snowboard at Mt. Brighton. Rob at the front desk was phenomenal!! I'll definitely be back.

The manager was amazing! All of the staff was very friendly. But the manager went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable the 3 days we were there for surgery. I am allergic to dogs. She was very accommodating in selecting a room. It was so helpful.

Avoiding predicted storm from West side of state ahead of Detroit Lions game. Chose a location outside of Detroit for convenience and quiet. Perfect option with Detroit destination only 45 minutes away.

No continental breakfast but price doesn't reflect that compared to other hotels in the area. When I spoke to the staff they said the other three hotels do offer breakfast. Maybe IHG contracted breakfast at the other hotels for their guests? I didn't pursue it further. TV is so low can't watch while in bed. Pillows are the flattest I've ever seen but the bed was comfortable. It served its purpose, a place to sleep and shower but for the rate, go somewhere else.
