The experience was horrible, the hotel was not accessible what so ever. No handicap parking at the hotel, the door opens the wrong way to be able to use the wramp to enter the hotel and there was a garbage pale on the wramp. I pre booked a month in advanced to ensure we would have a wheelchair accessible stay. Upon arriving, the accessible room is unavailable and out of order. How dose a hotel only have one single accessible room. The first room they attended to put us in my wifes wheelchair did not fit in the room. The second room she was barly able to fit between the bed and the tv cabinet. The tolet was very low without proper grab bars. When asking for a shower chair we where brought a bench that was visible dirty. The bath also had no grab bars.

The room was mostly clean but the rugs and chair were dirty, there was a big dog barking in the room across from ours, the hallways were dirty and smell bad, the maintenance guy was rude and the entrances to the property were not maintain full of ice

It is not good for Disables or an older gentleman. The toilets are too low and the tubs are too high up. And there's no way of them getting a handle to pull themselves up off the toilet or the shower.

Check in was quick and easy, even at our late time of arrival. They were accommodating and understanding with our dog as well, as they have designated rooms for travelers with pets. Breakfast was good for a continental and for the price, this hotel was very good value and in a good location with plenty of parking.

The carpets were filthy and stunk terribly! However the person working tried hard to be accommodating but it wasn't his fault l would think it's the owners responsibility to correct the cleanliness of rooms also of those carpets. I sincerely would not recommend this hotel.

Absolutely horrible!!!! The room smelled do bad of human urine. It made us gag! The front desk moved us into another room. Which TV had no service, also 1/2 of electrical outlets wouldn’t work! Had to try and sleep on pull out couch! Left our cloths on re cleanliness. I’ve stayed in slot of hotels over past 12 years! This was horrible!

On m’a assigné une chambre qui sentait la cigarettes j’ai demandé d’être changé de chambre pour finalement me retrouver dans une autre que les draps ne semblait pas avoir été changé que les oreillers étaient sans protège oreiller, le coton tout jaune cerné et le remplissage de celle-ci était en mottons. L’escalier pour ce rendre à notre chambre du 2eme étage est en tapis qui n’est pas entretenu.

My check-in went okay. The gentleman at the front desk was nice. The first room I was given, smelled like cat really bad. So he assigned me another room. The second room smelled better, until I got settled in. All night all I could smell was urine. I’m not sure if it was dog urine or what. The carpet felt sticky and dirty. I had to wash my feet before getting into bed. That bathroom smelled like urine as well. There was urine on the floor by the toilet. The whole room just felt dirty. The hallways throughout the hotel, had a weird smell to them. The beds were hard and not comfortable. The pillows were very small and flat. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, only the scrambled eggs were solid and the breakfast area was dirty. I’d say my only positive was the staff.

Thin walls, could hear the TV next door all night and it wasn't on loud from what I could tell from the hallway. Front desk staff was missing when I arrived on the 2nd day and my card wouldn't work. This was a decent place to stay in North Bay. It's in a convenient location, near the lake and lots of dining options. It was clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was great, although they could definitely use more tables. On the downside, it is tired. The hallways and doors have been spruced up, but the room we had was quite dated. It was clean, but very tired. The wifi is very spotty, so if you need to be connected for work or want to be able to watch tv, etc, you probably need to make other arrangements. There were a number of people just sort of hanging out in the parking lot, in lawn chairs, etc which was also odd. We never felt unsafe or anything, but it was a bit odd.

Loved the location near the waterfront. Took advantage of the included breakfast. The room was typical for this price point and was very clean. The WiFi was disappointing, so slow that you could barely do email and light web browsing -- not fast enough for streaming.

Great family stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was a nice touch with good variety. A big thank you to Umar at the front desk—very friendly, helpful, and cooperative throughout our visit. He was always ready to help with anything we needed. His warm and professional attitude truly made a difference in our experience. When I first arrived I was checking in with the host. I asked for a receipt since I needed proof of payment and cash deposit but it seemed like such an inconvenience for the host. He said he was new and didn’t know how so I asked him to contact or ask someone to show him since it was necessary I got a receipt. The whole time he was rolling his eyes and seemed very impatient even though I was the only person checking in. Once I got that I went to my room #128 the room had a stale smell so I put in a car freshener in hopes it would help… I moved the night stand on my side of the bed to plug in my charger and there was garbage… a napkin and straw. After a while my room started getting really cold even though I had the heat on! Turns out my window was leaking soooo much cold air into the room so I tucked the curtain around it to try to keep it warm in the room. The next night I went to take a bath and have a coffee but they only gave us 1 coffee for a 3 night stay and there was no bath plug for the drain so I went to the front desk and again I felt like I was causing a huge inconvenience. The host was rolling his eyes and almost trying to avoid finding me what I needed which should have already been in the room. I’ve stayed here many times I usually don’t have this many issues. Usually the host is more than willing to help but I believe at this point the host was annoyed…. I checked in December 31st and left January 3rd. I hope if I return my next visit will be more pleasant.

This was our second stay here, we were dead tired, arrived at almost dark and were greeted by a happy proficient man. He had us set up quickly! He did ask us to come in and out the middle door or the back door as we had two dogs with us. Our room was very comfy, beds were good, plenty of pillows, air was warm. We went out and grabbed dinner and brought it back to the room. No issues at all with breakfast, it was plentiful and fresh. Everyone in the dining room was happy. I would not hesitate in booking this hotel room again!

My low rating for this hotel is just a guess because this reservation was me days in advance, received a confirmation, called the hotel on the highway 2 hours away to confirm, only to find out that there was no room for me and my guest when I got there. By the way I picked this property because it was 5 minutes from a wedding that I was going to. We came to check in at 4:00 so we could change and make it to the wedding ceremony at 5:00. I will give a shout out to the clerk who was sorry he couldn't give us a room but allowed us to use the lobby bathroom so that we could change to go to the wedding.

Room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30pm. No internet when we arrived. Other guest behind us had no rooms ready either. Finally got our room 30 minutes later but smelled strongly of body order. That night I was woken up by a crawling insect on me twice. Not scared of bugs but that startled me.

They never clean the room after multiple requests and didnt provide any towels in multiple day stay and they said they dont provide room 4 people and what ever we book through app is not their responsibility or concern. Terrible experience. I want money back for this kind of experience. They even knock at the door at 11 at night , when everyone was sleeping. This is not acceptable and the staff is very rude .

Comfy beds, good water pressure in the showers. Walls are a bit thin - can hear people talking or watching tv. Hotel is near the waterfront, nice to check out the beach/park area for a sunset. A few resturants in the area. Ground floor windows face a motel that often has people sitting outside, it was a bit uncomfy. A few people in the parking lot in the evening that made me a bit nervous for items in my car/company cars around but things were fine in the morning. Decent breakfast offerings - microwave eggs, sausages, one of those waffle makers, and toaster options.

I love a quiet hotel room - and this room (and hotel) was very quiet. I also appreciated being close to the beach and really enjoyed watching the sun set at Silver Beach - it was beautiful.

Overall our stay was good for the price, you get what you pay for. The website lists BBQs available, so we had planned to use these, but they have not been there for at least 2 years, so I would recommend updating this. The showers were often too hot, suddenly scalding hot or too cold if the taps were not set just right. The breakfast was a nice feature, although on a few mornings, there were no sausages. Parking was great, right by the door.

The bedding in the pull out couch was all piled in a ball, not sure if it was just made improperly and it got all jumbled up when couch was folded up , I asked for a clean set of bedding and the staff brought it right up to our room. The coffee at breakfast had an awful taste and the scrambled eggs were not to my liking …but everything else was good for breakfast. They could definitely use a bigger breakfast space, as they don’t allow you to take food to your room .

We were very pleasantly surprised at our stay. There isn’t one thing I can say negative vote the travel Lodge by Wyndham. From an easy check in to a buffet breakfast and a seamless check out. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

The hotel is just ok. You get what you pay for and the price was good. Some of the stuff needs to be updated. There was an old stain on the floor in room 208, there was a long piece of hair on our comforter, behind the night tables werent clean, the tv controller wouldnt change channels. Overall our stay was acceptable. The only thing out of the issues that bothered me was the hair on the bed and the dirtiness behind the tables. Cleanliness is important. It should be a staple for all hotels.
